I would give the store 5 stars but they have a whole speech they tell you at the door and its quite long. The young lady has no problem telling us to hold on while she assisted other customers issues ,while trying to finish the speech. Ive been here a few times its been the same every time & same girl too.

My experience was pleasant. I was helped by Jane who was very sweet. I am going on vacation and I wanted to find some waterproof makeup. She helped me find the best products and tested them on my skin. I looked so good and felt even better. I’m so excited.

I went in looking to show my friend the Inkey List skincare line that I like, a lot. But then, I was offered assistance from Alex B, and at first I declined but then I went back and found her and she was happy to help me. I was looking for something to brighten my upper lip shadow because shaving, it leaves it a little darker. And I wondered if maybe an under eye brightener would work (which I did end up buying) and then as I was buying Alex B went out of her way to suggest to me a vitamin C serum and even went to get me a sample of it. Which she didn’t have to do. She was so friendly and nice and I appreciate it a lot. It made my visit today really lovely. 🥰

I saw reviews about the employees being rude. I didnt encounter any of that. The store is clean, and the employees were all very helpful. The person at the front before you enter just tells you to not put testers on your face, only the hand and arm, and even he asked if I needed help with anything, it took like 20 seconds.

I wanted to leave a good review because a staff member was really nice to me today - I dont know his name, but we bonded a little over a show we both liked and he treated me really nicely. I just wanted to shout him out. I gave only 4 stars because I do think that staff (in general) hover a little too much for comfort, but thats every Sephora store. The worst for staff hovering is the store at Beavercreek, but I know that corporate is making them do it, so its difficult to get mad. I also will say that their testers looked unclean, but I see that all the time, and it was toward the end of the day, so maybe they had been used repeatedly. but other than that, such a sweet employee. if he sees this, thanks for being so nice my friend.

Drove 20 minutes to shop. Website said they closed at 8pm. They closed an hour early. The guy guarding the door said they were short staffed. Hardly anyone in mall or their store.

Sephora closes at 7pm during the weekdays now, last night at 7:45pm I wanted to quickly run through there to see if there was anything I wanted, I was rudely asked by the girl at the front door if I knew exactly what I was looking for. I told her I wanted to look around for a few minutes and she refused to let me in the store because they were closing soon. Poor customer service. There were 15 minutes left and I was actually refused to come into the store to spend money. Ridiculous.

I was immediately greeted by Maggy the second I got to the door she asked what I needed, directed me to Dior and said someone would assist me shortly and sure enough Megan was there! Even though what I wanted was discontinued both ladies were extremely nice and informative.

My sister is a makeup addict and I went with her shopping for foundation. They arent able to do the color iq to find your perfect shade due to corona. One stop shop for makeup though.

Always a fun place to visit for me! Sephora offers a great selection of cosmetics, hair care, & skincare products. The staff is somewhat knowledgeable in the products. They sell one of my favorite perfumes, thats an added plus. My only complaint is that online has a couple of brands NOT sold in your store. I like buying from a store rather than online.

I love Sephora. All of the people who work there are really knowledgeable about makeup and some of them have specialized knowledge of specific things. They are rather organized and will get you help as soon as they are able to.

I appreciate the patience and politeness the staff member showed during a very busy time! Saturday afternoon! Nice store too.

Overall the staff is super friendly and helpful! I have worked with Elaine twice and she is personable, with incredible knowledge on product, extremely honest & helpful! The staff at this location is so rude. They dont follow their own return policy; I made returns within 30 days and they forced me to take in store credit when I should have gotten it back to my credit card.Many of the testers smell rancid too so it is hard to know what something smells like before buying.Ulta is much better. Ill stick to shopping there rather than here.

If you want to buy French cosmetics, as well as other brands from around the world, I guess this is a good choice. Registered customers can also get a gift choice on their birthday. Personally, I have a strong dislike of cosmetics but my daughter wanted some. The first location we went to, which was inside the JC Penney in Eastgate, there was only one employee there. At Kenwood half an hour later, there were at least 10 in the same-sized store. Im not sure if this was because it was a store that was not in JCPenney so the rent was cheaper or if it was because of the time of day but customers did not have trouble getting help if they needed it, even if some of the employees didnt bother to smile at their customers.The store, just like department stores, is organized by brand so if you are, like me, the kind of person who likes to comparison-shop, its going to be challenging. Some people like to shop by brand but I like to be able to easily compare things to make more informed decisions. Thus for me, the store is frustrating to shop at especially because my daughter doesnt like to ask for help.I dont really know because I dont shop for cosmetics but Im fairly sure that the prices were on the high side, but they did have sale items including some that were under $10. A freestanding store would undoubtedly have cheaper prices.I think one of the nice things about Sephora is that everywhere you look there are samples that you can use to find out whether the color looks good on you or not or whether the perfume smells good on you or not, and there are many stations where there are tissues, cotton pads, cotton swabs and alcohol to clean yourself up with after youre done experimenting.

I highly recommend coming to this Sephora if you need any make up! All of the girls that work in Sephora are extremely helpful and friendly! If you need help with any skin care I highly recommend talking to Greg he is truly amazing he truly takes his time with you as a client in the store! He truly breaks down the information about the skin care products which helps you understand what will help your skin. I recommend anyone to Greg about skincare advice if you are going though a hard breakouts!Paige

Walked in with my best friend to look for First Aid Beauty, which is along the back wall at this location. I had nothing in my hands and I was wearing my winter coat. Several associates asked us if we were doing okay and we said yes, because we had found what we were looking for, then each awkwardly shifted away to talk to their manager, who I then heard call mall security on me. Mall security followed me around for the rest of my visit. We did not spend a cent of our $75 in gift cards due to that discomfort of an armed man following us around the store. Maybe skip this store if youre black and young. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the pleasure of working with James. He is super helpful, good humored and en pointe with his recommendations. It was a busy busy Saturday afternoon when I dropped in to replace everything in my sad, tragic makeup stash, and he introduced me to new products, matched me perfectly with colors for my skin tone and geared things for my age and use...all without a prior appointment. He gave me lots of options and made me feel confident in my selections. Thanks, James! They have a great selection of products but the staff ignores me every time I go in. They have 6+ people on the floor but no one seems to be able to help you. Every time I ask for help I’m pushed off to someone else and then that person isn’t able to help me either.

Today me and my mother ( African American) went to Sephora, ( mind you the only contents that we had were my moms purse and a medium sized pink bag) as soon as me and my mom walked in we were stared down and asked “do you need any help?” of course we said no, thank you because we just got in there but the worker still lingered around us awkwardly, which made us feel very uncomfortable. After leaving the area and looking around for a few another worker constantly asked if we needed help and made such a big deal about my pink bag being so pretty and colorful. So after being constantly asked if we needed help and being fallowed by a armed security guard, we left. Its very upsetting because every time me and my mother frequent Kenwood mall this is the first store we go to and we always spend about $50 dollars every time we come. Now we will stick to Ulta because i refuse to give money to a company who racially profiles black women.Just a word of advice, be attentive and recognize the actions of a shoplifter as oppose to racial profiling. period!!

This weekend my sister experienced some horrifying disrespect will waiting in line to just make a purchase. The cashier turned to her and said Im waiting on another customer that just walked up to the counter next,!!! after my sister waited for her to finish the first. Mind you , she left the register my sister had waited at and turned around to another register and waited on someone who had just walked up. Needless to say she was hurt and very angry, she came over to me and said Im getting out of this store because these people are rude and disrespectful, I turned to her and said what happened, at that point it really didnt make I just left to find out what happened????This was my first visit to this store and undoubtedly my last. I hurt for my sister still and neither of us should be made to feel this way because of someone else unhappiness .Due to this incident , I will look at the town of Cincinnati totally different . I went in yesterday to look at drunk elephant products and to get some knowledgeable advice about less expensive products I could mix into my DE routine. I was approached by a man offering to help. As I began talking about their vitamin c serum and some reviews Ive seen on other products, he ran over to the peter Thomas Roth section and grabbed their serum, then started going on and on about it. After awhile I realized he worked for PTR and I became extremely uncomfortable.I go to Sephora for their selection and options and also expect the workers to be fairly unbiased and helpful. I feel like having employees of specific product brands trolling the customers is dishonest and makes me uncomfortable enough I will think twice before entering in the future.I say trolling, because I wasnt looking at PTR products. He left his little section to come offer assistance as if he were a Sephora employee. I found him creepy and dishonest.

So today I went into this Sephora, which is not my local Sephora I drove over 40 to 50 minutes to get out to Kenwood mall manly to get to this specific Sephora, and I was looking around and shopping like I normally would. As I was looking i turned around and kind of realized that nearly every employee PLUS a security guard/ police officer was surrounding me and my little sister. This made me very uncomfortable and kind of upset me considering that I’m 17 going on 18 going there to spend my well earned pay check at a place i had to drive nearly an hour to. I’m not gonna lie I was wearing a baggy sweater and a pair of baggie sweatpants. But I feel like that is no way to treat a paying customer. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS SEPHORA AGAIN!!!!!

I was horrified at the lack of the majority of the customer service at the Kenwood store in Cincinnati,Oh. I knew exactly what I wanted, and was in a hurry, so said hello, then went to the anastasia section. While checking out, I was made to feel as if I was a thief by an employee with long dark hair who continuously glared at me with arms crossed. She proceeded to side whisper into another employees ear, to which the girl responded, “okay I got it” while still glaring directly at me. She then followed me to the door with the same glare and arms crossed after I had paid for my makeup. I do not look incriminating, I was in my scrubs so it was clear I have a job with money. I would NEVER steal anything, and was so beyond upset that I was made to feel like a criminal with her glares. This is not the first time I have had issues with the customer service at this specific location, but I figured the last time was bc it was the holiday season. I love Sephora, but it’s hard to want to keep spending money at a store that would treat their paying customers in this manner. Had I been wearing a large coat and have a huge purse, I could have POTENTIALLY understood their concern to keep an eye, but I had a small sweater and a small purse. Even if I could have, there really wouldn’t have been a place to hide anything. I’m just hoping that you will consider having more training on customer service to your employees. I would like to continue shopping at Sephora, but I refuse to feel like a criminal when I am a honest, paying customer.The one thing I will say is the male who works here was wonderful. He never made me feel like I was doing anything other than buying makeup. To him, thank you.

When it comes to shopping online at sephora they basicly run a scam and say if you pay 10 extra dollars you will get your items in 2 days!!! Guess what that is false!!!! I placed my order on the 8th of February leaving plenty of time to get my wifes valentines day present in plenty of time order on Wednesday the 8th I figured I would get the order by Friday or Sat nope I get a email that says it will be here by the 13th. Ok while not 2 days not a huge deal right because I will still get it by valentines day Im good. Well guess what I check the tracking number to see status it says updated delivery to be on the 15th Thursday the day after valentines ,great how lucky am I now what do I do my wife really wanted what I ordered for her. I call customer service after pretty much 15 minutes of being on hold and 2 minutes of talking they say there is really nothing they can do. But they were happy to give me my 10 dollars I paid for the 2 day shipping back but guess what only towards sephora credit online ,so not only did I not get the 2 day shipping I paid for now they are only giving me my 10 dollars back as a sephora credit haha I will definitely not be using it because my wife and I will both be shopping at ULTA from now on. I know Im only one person and in the big picture loosing the amount of money me and my wife spend there wont break the company its no fair to false advertise and scam people. I hope that other people will read this and second guess shopping with sephora
