My appointment was with sales rep John Burns, who was rude and unprofessional. First off he shows up at 8:30 when the appointment was at 11 a.m. I asked him if he could wait half an hour and he was uncompromising and said no he had two customers who cancelled on him, as though it was my fault. He spent most of his time talking about bad things that other contractors do and not impart much knowledge about the product he was there to sell. When I asked him questions about the product he seemed annoyed and told me to go to their website and proceeded to give me a brochure. He seemed to be impatient and did not have time to answer any questions. They did not have many options only two colors tan and white and the wait for install is 8 weeks. John seems to be a shady character when I asked him about their warranty for example if the fence is cracking or falling over would they come to repair it he says no you are on your own. This seems to be a shady company. Their prices are very high compared to other quotes. I definitely would not recommend

Overall our experience with A&M was very good.  The estimator was nice, professional and very genuine.  He had some good tips and recommendations, which is how A&M won the project over another company whose estimator just seemed shady.  Despite a long wait (due to very crazy fence demand everywhere), they met their quoted install time to the week.  We actually had to sign the contract on the fence before we even closed on the new house because lead times everywhere are long.  We were expecting delays, but they were on time.  We did have one bad hiccup during the project, in that an installer inadvertently cut the power line from our house to our detached garage.  This was especially bad as we have a full concrete patio and walkway, which meant the only way to repair it without digging up (and re-pouring) concrete was to trench through our backyard from the house all the way to the rear and into the back of the garage.  Suffice it to say, it was an unexpected expense.  Now, you can always tell a good company from a bad company when things go wrong.  They could have walked away and refused to do anything to help mitigate the damage, as the line that was cut was a private, unmarked line that we didnt know existed, they didnt know existed and isnt marked by Julie.  It was within their contract rights to do nothing and leave us unhappily on the hook for a huge expense that wasnt our fault either.  Thankfully, they found a lower cost electrician (who did it the same as our electrician would have) and shared some of the cost to repair it.  It was still an expensive repair, but we think resolved fairly for both sides.   And, in the end, we do now have a nice, new BEAUTIFUL fence that our dogs appreciate.

The came gave me quote for the fence. I am a new home owner so I had a lot of questions. Don’t ask too much questions or Guadalupe will stop responding. The customer service was so poor! They only give a 3% military discount. They measured my backyard wrong. Then they would not give me a date for install. They said when ever I see Julie marks I will now install is near. Lol what a joke! I was told 4-13 weeks anytime. Like what? I don’t stay home twirling my thumbs waiting for you all to show up. You should be giving appointments to your paying customers! Anyways, I went with Illinois fence Company, paid 2,000 more than what I was quoted for with A&M but better quality wood and amazing customer service. Also they gave me a date of install which was 2 weeks from my quote!

A&M Fence did an amazing job with my fence last summer. I wanted to have the fence moved and added security gates. They were very responsive, did high quality work and, in the end, I loved the way the fence looked. Highly recommended!

Asked for a fence quote and they quoted and removed my gates. Exactly the opposite of what was asked for. Requested back and sides of my fence EXCLUDING the gate.The gate was fine and not requested. The Fence is 5 feet away and falling over, leaning against a tree.When questioned why they would replace something that was fine, they got heated stating we signed a contract. Not what we asked for ever.The receptionist as well as the owner were really hot out from the get go, so I assume this is a common occurrence.I have no fence, no gate now and out $650Missing hardware another $250Replace Gates $350$1250 for something that never needed repacingStay far away, RUN from this company.

We had our fence replaced by A&M last month, and they did an outstanding job. They were quick, efficientand professional. A&M Fence replaced a large section of cedar fence two years ago and did an excellent job. When their work was finished the money owed turned out to be less than the original estimate and that amount was immediately cut from what I owed. They knew what they were doing and did an excellent job. They were fast and thorough. Couldnt have asked for more.

It was a small job that was handled professionally. Just needed a gate with a bit a fencing to complete it. Vinyl and tall with lock to ensure privacy and safety . Fit perfectly next to garage. The installer was a delight. I have recommended A&M to neighbors. When I am ready for a larger project, I will definitely contact A&M!

Overall excellent experience. The initial consultation was handled professionally and required some specific details that were worked out easily. The crew was efficient and dealt with the need for adapting to our existing gate creatively. Did superb work installing pertmanent wood fencing to my specs around a large yard several years ago. They have way to wrap steel sunken posts with wood above so no rotting, tipping takes place. When cheaper wood unavailable, they replaced with beautiful cedar at no extra cost. Did outstanding work at the time, and ive had 2-3 other fencers before whose work soon showed weaknesses.

Its been a couple of years and our fence continues to look as beautiful as when it was first installed. Our yard slopes on one side but not on the other and the efforts made to ensure that the fence would look great from any angle of the yard was a true testament to the dedication and quality of these A & M employees. In 2016, A&M reset 9 vinyl fence posts that were either sunken or heaved. They also reset 2 gates that were heaved the point of being hard to open. They did the job in 1 day, and all posts and gates are still in their correct position. I am very happy with the job.

The estimator arrived on time and was both very knowledgeable and accommodating. Pricing was not the lowest I received but since A&M hd done work for my neighbors felt the extra money based on the workmanship was acceptable. Workers also arrived as scheduled and completed the work professionally. There was a small problem initially that A&M returned on and fixed without question. There where two minor issues with the project - posts caps were not cemented in, although I am not sure if they are supposed to be and the concrete finish around the post installed into the sidewalk could have been done better. These were minor enough in my mind that I never did call A&M on them. My guess though is if I had called they would have returned.

I had a contractor by the name of John burns. He came out measure the area. I had many questions unanswered. He Wasn’t thorough at all!! I had expected him to give me several options on the spot. He said he was going to email me, but wasn’t proactive at all. Once I chose the fencing on the website from the options they had, he gave me a ridiculous high price. A contractor is suppose to give you material option and pricing difference. This company is VERY expensive and they give you no room for Negotiation, nor do they provide with enough info. I know from experience dealing with other contractor. Do NOT do business here!!! Do NOT go by these positive reviews. it’s FAKE!

I had a fence installed around 2010. It is still in great shape. They did a great job in a timely fashion within the price they quoted me. Just got in touch with them again to get an estimate on another home I own.

In 2018 I hired them to install a new fence. It came prestained that lasts 10 years. Well it a year later and my horizontal boards have faded and need a new coat. Some confusion occured while installing but it was able to be resolved in a timely manner. Over all I would definitely use the again. Very professional and best prices!

I initially had A&M install a privacy fence around my residence. I got numerous proposals and elected to go with A&M. After observing their craftsmen install the fence, and seeing the outstanding results, I was impressed. So much so, that after purchasing another property that also required a privacy fence, I did not hesitate to bring in A&M. This time I didnt bother to get other proposals. My thinking is I know their quality, so no need to chance bringing in some other installers when I know the results will be outstanding.I know burglars and thieves are on the prowl. Our wrought iron front gate needed a new strike. There was a bit of confusion on what needed to be done amongst our condo board. A&M installed a strike and it was faulty. We contacted them and they said they wanted to make it right and they did. This involved installing another strike and doing some welding modifications to the gate where the strike mounts.

Came within a couple days of calling. Reasonable prices, installed shortly after, and looks (and is holding up) great!

The wood fences A&M did for us were done well and to the specifications we set. However, when we sought to have them give us an estimate on a small chain link job, they seemed to decline it as not being worth their while. Disappointing considering the amount we spent on the wood fence.
