We contacted J&C Lighting for replacement shades for our chandelier. From the beginning, Celia Soto Hay was very helpful and patient and raised some factors that we had not considered in designing our custom shades. Her knowledge and experience were very beneficial as we selected our custom material. In the end, Celia and J&C Lighting made the shades to our specifications and actually included workmanship that we had not considered but will help extend the life of the shades. We are so happy with them. They are exactly what we wanted and the price was very reasonable. If you need shades made for any type of lighting, we highly recommend that you contact J&C Lighting and Celia. They provided us with excellent advise, timely turn around time and reasonable prices.

J and C Lighting refinished a brass floor lamp pitted beyond salvage, I thought!When it was returned, I was amazed. It looks like a new lamp. I was particularly delighted because lamps like it are impossible to buy now.A table lamp that I had repaired recently is now stable, with a socket that is secure, not wobbly.I urge you to have your lamps repaired here. You wont be disappointed, and you wont have to shop for new lamps.

My old floor lamp, originating from Europe needed repair. J & C Lighting was recommended by one of the lamp stores. Jorge did an wonderful job, not only carrying out the requested repair, but even replacing some of the lost small parts and fixing the scratches in the paint of one of the shades, in fact restoring my old lamp to its original appearance, without my asking for it. Highly recommended.

We went to price a replacement for a lamp that hangs over our dining room table. The owner advised us to repair instead of replace. She saved us lots of money and did the work much faster than expected. The repaired lamp looks and works better than new. It was a great experience. Very knowledgeable, helpful, professional service.

Jorge worked a miracle on my lamp repair! After one lighting shop said the repair could likely not be done, Jorge did it in an hour or so. The turnaround was one day after receiving the lamp for repair from the other vendor. Wonderful to deal with and very friendly. They will get all my next lighting business.

Complete restoration of antique brass Chinese lamp. It looked fabulous! Also needed another repair, fast and reasonably priced....have one more antique pierced hanging lamp that needs their special touch. I even bought a new lamp from them. I inherited several valuable antique lamps that needed extensive repairs - new wiring, new sockets, lamp shades, etc. I accidentally dropped and broke the ceramic base on one of these lamps as I was bringing it into the shop for the electrical refurbishing! Jorge picked up all the many pieces of broken ceramic and said not to worry, he could fix it like new. When I picked it up I was absolutely amazed, it was beautiful and put back together in perfect condition! I could not even tell where he repaired the broken base, he is a genius! J & C Lighting does beautiful work, Jorge is a gifted artisan and if you have antique lamps, you will get excellent advice and brilliant restoration from both Celia and Jorge, they truly value heirlooms. They also sell fixtures and shades if you need to buy, I purchased 2 ceiling fans and several shades from them. I highly recommend J & C Lighting for any of your lighting needs.

I am a fan of this company.I started with an old lamp that needed repair that I couldnt just discard.With out any fuss , they repaired the lamp ( an expensive lamp). I than had some hard lamp shades on other lamps that had cracks and breaks. Same thing , they researched and found a solution as well as slightly modified my existing lamps to make sure everything fit and were structurally correct. I went back again to have a dimmer on a floor lamp repaired. In addition several lamps on sale our now on my list to get eventually. They go the extra mile.I give them 5 out of 5, they

Absolutely the worst!! They dont take returns even if they sold you the part based on their false information. The woman there provides customer service equivalent to a TJ flea market. Horrible little craphole.
