Went to several places and was getting the run around and ran across this business and as a new boat owner they gave me some knowledge that help me DIY.(had to replace lower peller seals on a Volvo Penta out drive.very helpful.having overheating issues now...after doing business with this shop. Ill be returning for services.really appreciate the help.

I buy my Volvo Penta parts from them and I have had them come out to my boat a couple times to fix some issues that had me stumped. Theyve always been great and are reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

I have owned three boats, 29 feet to 65 feet long. The only people I trust to work on my boat is Cogswell marine. Ive been dealing with this company for 25+ years. The knowledge and experience here at the center is unmatched in Southern California. When it comes to marine parts and repair, you get what you pay for. You can go somewhere else and pay half the price but have it done twice or you can take it to Cogswell and have it done right the first time.

Took my problem child boat to three different repair guys in the last month. None of them could diagnose the source of the problem until I stopped by Cogswell Marine. Had my engine/electrical issues fixed and learned more about my engine from Pete and Mitch than Id learned in the last 5 years of owning it. They were extremely knowledgeable and got me back on the water before the holiday weekend. Highly Recommend!

These guys give a bad name to the marine industry in San Diego. I am here to save anyone reading this time and money. Do your homework about these people. The marine industry is really tight in San diego and you will find no problem getting the word on Cogswells by just simply calling around and asking. Horrible people that run a even more horrible buisness. All they did was do a bunch of unauthorized work without even fixing the issue I took it in for. Every gasket they touched leaks. People are full of b.s. hope I can save some people time and money. Go elsewhere.
