First time coming here and definitely my last!! Not once was I greeted, I stood in line for a long time too. I was the only female there, they were only helping the other male customers first for what seemed like forever..Finally they asked what I needed and I let them know a life jacket was called in to put on hold for us and for some reason they couldnt find it or remembered talking to my husband. Very disappointed in there service here!

Great store. Small but well stocked and staffed with highly knowledgeable crew.! Great help. My only complaint that Ive had for years and why I rarely shop there any more...prices are way too high! If you go just take a wheelbarrow of money...quality...5 stars...organization...5 stars...quantity and variability...5 stars...prices...1 star and Ive been shopping there for over 20 years...because of that I choose them only if I cant find what I want somewhere else.

BEST place to get all of your fishing supplies /equipment in San Diego they have the best quality equipment and if you go here you have to ask for Manuel he is the best he is friendly and he helped me and my dad for our first time and overall he is just great! Highly recommended

A relatively small store but has all of the things boaters need. Wonderful store. Close to Chula Vista marina. Very convenient. Employees are older and very experienced and knowledgeable, and very helpful & friendly.

Not sure how people are saying theyre lovely or personal, walked in didnt get greeted even though they were standing around and I tried to say hello but got ignored, also it was my first time ever buying a fishing rod so i thought coming here would be a good idea but they ignore you if you dont look the part or for whatever reason. Bunch of egotistical guys but whatever thanks for being a first bad experience at these local shops.

GREAT, Ed was very helpful. Took his time explaining different options for part I needed.

It was already a turned off soon as walking inside the store with the staff, they were mean looking. And specifically Carl, one of the associates was very rude. We were looking around for rod holders when he accused us of stealing, or even tying a knot on one of the ropes. Never going back to this place, the products are great, but that specific staff should not even be on floor with such an attitude towards customers.

I love this place ,, everything i could ever want all in one spot as far as watersports , clothing for watersports, fishing gear , bait , and lets not forget the service wow , if you are looking for a place to get stuff for your boat ,, this is Tuesday only place that I have found at if they dont have it they can get it for you within 24 hours

Very helpful employees, but the store has nothing in stock to actually service a boat. Great if you want a cooler, a blanket, or dumb looking hat.

These folks are very helpful, awesome people. Ed, Bill, Manuel, Jhon and the lady who work there are like family to me. They go out of their way to help folks out. I am a commercial account holder so am there about 1 or 2xweek. This is one of my if not my favorite West Marine stores bc if the people there.

I went in to purchase a new chart plotter/sonar unit and after answering a few questions the employee turned and left right in the middle of our conversation ! I was there to buy a unit and spend between $300 and $800 , but it obviously wasnt good enough to keep the employee there to assist me .
