Einsteins has a variety of bagels for all palettes. Sweet, spicy, onion, dessert, plain all types of choices. The bagels are easy to chew and enjoy whether toasted or not.I usually come between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and theres generally a long line. Although the service is quick, there is a wait. Each bagel range between $2-350 depending on the topping.Einsteins in general is a four star but this location needs to monitor how many customers enter because its too small and crowded. I remember when the restrictions allowed 4 indoors at a time and this worked well. Go back to that please.The only tip I have is ask for light butter because there is so much butter you will get cholesterol. Or you can choose cream cheese peanut butter, almond butter, Nutella, margarine, nothing, or other topping choices. Better yet, pre-order and pick up to avoid the long line and crowded indoors.

I want to say I come here about 3 times a month. I normally gravitate towards ordering the Gourmet Jalapeno Bacon Bagel with an Onion and Chive cream cheese or the Tasty Turkey Sandwich. I order ahead through the app which I love and is probably the only reason I order here. Being able to submit my order via the app and just walk in and grab my order off on of the shelves off the to right is so convenient! Because sometimes the line is well out the door!I do have to check to see if they added the chips that come with my sandwich to the bag, because usually they dont. That is the one inconsistency that is a tad annoying. So be sure to check your pick up order to make sure everything is there before you leave. Through the app you can get free coffee (iced or hot) which is a nice bonus.Parking can take a minute and be careful because it is super busy in this parking lot.The employees arent above and beyond with their politeness but it is always super busy so they may not have the time. It gets really really busy here!!

Serves tea way way too hot. Always slammed, since this is the only bagel shop for miles. South County has Brueggers in Coronado and on Navy bases. Independent bagel shops are north of Interstate 8. Free coffee if you order ahead by app.

You can expect the same quality food you find at other Einstein Bagels: pretty good!The service was friendly and fast, although their setup for dealing with covid and social distancing could have been better. Only 3 customers are allowed in the store at a time regardless of the size of your party. Because the coffee and order pickup are inside you sometimes have to wait for another slow customer to make their coffee or find their order. I imagine at busier times this system could bottleneck the service.I was disappointed by their coffee selection: hot or iced, light, medium, dark, or decaf, and cream. You have to ask for sugar and lids. Dont expect any blended or espresso based coffees. The coffee itself was fine. Not old or weak but not exciting or special either.I got an avocado, bacon, and tomato egg-white bagel, but they were out of plain bagels?! So I got an everything bagel.It was delicious! The bagel itself didnt taste particularly special to me, but the avocado, egg, bacon, and tomato tasted fresh and flavorful. The balance was great and they cut it in half so I didnt crumble it everywhere!I was not totally filled by the amount of food I got, but I suppose thats what you need to expect going into a bagel shop. They have more filling options with lots more meat and eggs, I just didnt get one.Altogether a good place for a light breakfast and a regular coffee! Or at the very least: a safe option.

They always have the freshest, tastiest or i should just say the best bagel in town.. i love getting bagels here coz its waaaaay better than the other ones.. will definitely come back for more bagel 😋😋😋

Ive been a customer for many years as my family and I enjoy their food however today we had the worst experience. We order 2 egg sandwiches and 2 hashbrowns was initially told wait time was going to be 45 minutes long. We thought this was excessive but had to do some shopping in the area so we agreed to wait. More than an hour later my husband and I were waiting outside for our order. I asked for an update and was told there were 20 orders ahead of mine and would take 20 minutes more minutes. I immediately asked for a refund. The manager who helped me was rude and did not apologize for the long wait or the inconvenience. My family and I will never go to this location again. Other customers were complaining about their orders too. People who had online orders were waiting 30+ minutes as well.

Lines are oftentimes long but their space is small so its usually cramped with queues reaching the door. I like the spreads they sell especially honey almond.

Its a crowded place, but worth the wait.

Nothing like getting sick from them. Better off driving the extra distance and getting any other than this location. Very rude with how they are with customers even had another person complain to the manager as I was in there about the same issue.

First time at the H street location and first time mobile ordering. Just picked up the mobile order that took 30 minutes to receive (while we were parked in front of the store), they did not have 4 bagels that we ordered (cinnamon raisin) nor did they give us the free bagel and smear we had ordered as the free welcome gift via mobile. Server was curt and acted uninterested in assisting us in this situation. Not at all impressed.

Horrible customer service. To the manager that snapped at my husband and son rudely and told them they needed to wait outside, manners go a long way and our money went elsewhere. Attitudes like yours are more of a problem than COVID ever will be.

One star for my bad experience yesterday morning.I waited in line and there was 6 people in total I was second in line.So I ordered my food and waited an unusually long amount of time.. 25 minutes!The line had ended and I went inside to figure out what happened to my food, the workers were standing doing nothing (only one was stocking shelves) I had approached the young cashier girl with short wavy black hair and glasses and asked her where my order was and she said that they ..just forgot to make it.It was early in the morning I was starving and was expecting a nice breakfast to start my day, she didnt apologize for forgetting or thanked me for being patient, this behavior is unacceptable in a customer service setting .If I could give this location negative stars, I honestly would.

Horrible mismanagement of this location. I ordered from online went to location after 20 mins and was told is would be another 15 mins. The staff was rude. Don’t bother they don’t care and the manager doesn’t care either.

This location almost never answers the phone. So if its busy you just have to wait in line if you want something that they dont allow you to order in app. They also prioritize app orders over the people right in front of them.

Best bagels in San Diego! And the best sandwiches! Bought an egg white, bacon, tomato and avocado on a plain bagel.It had a delicious sauce and was fresh-tasting and filling. Sorry we ate it before we thought of taking a pic! 😄

I really like this location. But there is a new chick in the front that i dont like. She is skinny with eyeliner. (NOT the other chick thats been there for a while, that smiles a lot and also wears eyeliner.) She is rude and lazy. Didnt take my number and didnt let me know i had a free bagel sandwich. You can see in her face she doesnt want to be there. She shouldnt be a customer service person.

FRESH BAGELS. I used to live down the street from here and would walk here on the weekends in the AM. Its no Little Italy but it was a nice walk and the seating outside was nice enough for the wife and I to enjoy some breakfast and coffee. I still go here from time to time to order bagels and LOVE THIS PLACE. Staff is always busy cause usually always have customers but they are friendly and courteous. I wish I still lived just a walk away. Always recommend this place if someone is asking what to bring in to breakfast for work!!!

I had a blueberry bagel this morning with cream cheese and it was delicious. I went to get half a dozen to take back home and also ordered the chicken salad. It is made there and I was very impressed. It was delicious. Customer service is great as well

Long line in the morning, but dont trip. There was the right amount of people working to make the line move quick. I was very impressed with how smooth the order and pick up/payment process went due to the amount of people packed into this rather tiny store. Very loud and chaotic, but great fast friendly service. If possible this store should consider expanding its inside sitdown restaurant. No complaints, good job morning crew!!

Mondays have the best deals. Downside is that after 12pm their case is empty, and was told that they wouldnt be making any more for the day, they close at 5pm. Some of the workers arent that friendly, there maybe 1 nice 1 out of the associates. Ill be going to another location. Hopefully it will be better.

Best bagels I have found locally. The store however is shoehorned into too small a space. The line snakes back onto itself through a narrow passage between counters and tables. At high traffic times the line moves slowly. During those periods the ordering/purchasing experience is not for the claustrophobic! Just cross your fingers and hope that the flu season hasnt started yet, cause the bagels ARE good.

I always try to get a variety of sandwiches and I love their 6 cheese option. The only reason I give one less star is because of service and the site location. Its really hard to find parking and to find a seat. Since its a bit small, theres very few seating options . Other than that, I like this place very much!

Walked in to get a cup of coffee with nobody greeting me. There was nobody in line and my girlfriend and I stood there waiting for someone to take our order and a girl who was sweeping finally said Are you ready THE PLACE WAS FILTHY!! Food crumbs and trash everywhere!

Ive never had a bad experience coming here. I usually just come for the boxed dozen and am in and out quickly. Gets pretty busy in the mornings but no more than a 5-10 minute trip.

Service is great. The bagels are great. The only problem is the size of the place. Ita hars to fit in there and try to pick out your bagels.

I like this spot because they have good veggie shmear, but it is so tiny it is hard to know if you are at the front of the line or at the end. Too close for comfort. They do have a few outside table so if you make it out of there with your bagel intact you can enjoy it in the fresh air...beside the parking lot.

No matter what Einstein location I visit (chula vista, fashion valley, la jolla) their bagel sandwiches are served with brown lettuce edges and tomato ends. I am convinced Einsteins Corp does not have a fresh-quality standard across its stores.The sandwiches are good, but only after picking out the brown lettuce pieces and tomatoes. Im sure the sandwich makers grab the tomato ends and think to themselves- should I or shouldnt I. But everytime use it anyways. If it wasnt for their veggies, I would rate them 5 stars.

I will go out of my way to avoid this shop. My order has been wrong almost every time, and the staff are always so apathetic. My order is so simple too, and I only go to Einsteins when I want to treat myself to something special. Its such a disappointment, because I live across the street and its convenient. I guess Ill have to keep making the trip all the way to Friars Rd if I want some good Einstein Bros.

The store is stressful because it is to narrow and makes one feel uncomfortable and it is not organized. Bagels good, service and atmosphere not so great.

Long line, overpriced and cold coffee

I go there just because I love the bagels but it is true that it is claustrophobic . and the service is slow and strange because at subway there is one way to enter and order and end up at the side where you pay.. so this is disrespectful to me... plus no one apologies and If i have a question , it takes the associates a while to answer because they are preparing the food... great food though..

Good food, but the store layout sets off my almost non-existent claustrophobia. It is so busy and crowded on the weekend that you cant help but having any sense of personal space invaded. Easy 2 star review if l didnt like the food as much as I do. Most times I come in, i order to go as eating in with the family is either not possible or terribly uncomfortable. The way you order and pay makes you have to squeez past other customers in line. If they could do something about the process or layout it would help. Honestly, they need a second entrance to fix the problem.

Love the coffee and bagels! My go to spot becore heading to work. Depending on the time it can be crowded. Because I am a regular, they already know me, but I agree with some of the comments, customer service is not consistent.

Need to find a new location. Line is constantly out the door, parking can be nightmarish, and they have limited schmear selection at peak hours. Other than that the bagels and coffe are what you would expect from Einstein Bros.

Not going back. I put 1 star because its the lowest I could put. They forgot about my order, I waited patiently for 20 minutes before asking where it was, they told me it was coming right out when it was obvious they had just put it in after I asked, I waited another 15 minutes until I got it. I asked for it for here and they gave it to meto go. They couldnt even be honest with me or offer me something for their mistake.

Service needs improvement they need to be knowledgeable of questions concerning the bagels also where you keep the bagels must separate the onion bagels from the rest all the bagels taste like onion it is absolutely disgusting
