This dealership is very nice and staff are professional. The environment is very relaxed. They do have very limited inventory as of 2021. I recommend that you call ahead of time to schedule a showing for the vehicle you prefer.

I recently bought a new truck from Shelor Toyota. Their no haggle price made things easy and they went the distance to get the truck I wanted. My sales rep was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.She had a Ford F-150 delivered (from Shelor Ford across the street) so I could do a side by side comparison right there in their lot. I received a run down of features in each truck and completed a test drive of both vehicles before deciding.Then when I couldnt find the exact color and option combination I was looking for on their lot, Tony went to work finding my truck and swapping a vehicle to get it.If you like things easy and convenient I would highly recommend Shelor Toyota.

My truck got towed to Shelor when it wouldnt start. The dealership was backed up with appointments, but they got to it quickly. My service advisor, Eric, was great, and kept me in the loop. I showed to pick up the truck while he was eating lunch (my bad), and he was still kind and immediately helpful. Also gave me a car wash ticket. Great service. Love this dealership.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shelor. I had a unique factory recall situation where it was a PA truck currently residing in FL & VA was the closest state for the recall/service work. Because Bobby the Service Mgr took the time to listen to my situation, they cut the normal 4 day turnaround to barely 1.5 days for me and gave me a loaner. Because I had to take time off from work, drive 10.5 hours each way to VA & back & hire extra caregivers for my Dad while I was away, I asked for help & I received it from Shelor. Everyone was incredible & I cannot say how grateful I am.May you continue to bless others as you have blessed me.

We recently came to look at a RAV4, our salesperson - Beverley Messick showed us what they had in stock. We test drove and ultimately decided to pick a car. She knew this was what I was used to and was closer to our payment range. She was fun, honest and made the experience an enjoyable one. I honestly felt she was there for us! I never felt she was a typical salesperson.We had a couple of bad experiences in our hometown. We are so glad we kept our options open and made the drive to Shelor.In the future when we need another vehicle, I hope she is still there!

I had a great experience buying a new car from Shelor Toyota. Everything went very smooth and quickly.

I went for a few things. Oil change, inspection sticker, recall for airbags, and I wanted a heat shield put on that was rusted out. Oil change, inspection and recall went fine and were priced fairly. The part on the other hand was not replaced like I had asked. It was instead fixed with bigger washers to compensate for the rust. I had done that myself twice already and wanted them to simply swap it out for a new one at this point. The mechanic apparently had to take apart my exhaust to put the two small washers on. I did not need to do this when I did it myself which took me all of 10mins. So I ended up getting charged $120 for two washers and over an hour of service. The tech also threw my gun safe on the floor out in the open presumably to get to the airbag because I had it racked next to the seat and did the same with my charger cords and never bothered to pick them up after.I highly recommend you dont take your car here for replacement parts if you dont have to.Regular maintenance seems fine.

Today my experience was excellent. High quality service for the past 6 years, no complains. The new guy there was very friendly, explained things very clear, from what was supposed to be done, what was done, what was charged and what would be good to get done in the future. The place is clean and the team is organized.

Service is always a pleasant experience, spacious and modern waiting lounge. Plenty of seating as well as power outlets to enable keeping up with work while I wait.

Great service. Service Advisors are informative, prompt at greeting you upon your arrival, and make it their prerogative to keep you up to date on any findings during the multipoint inspection. They also take the time to explain exactly what everything means regarding the grading of your vehicle during the inspection. Not to mention the services performed (tire repair, wiper repair, engine repair to name a few) have been very cheap in cost. Additionally, you will receive a coupon for a free car wash with every visit to the service center, so thats a plus.

I really enjoyed and appreciated the service I received related to the recall on my truck. The clerk that helped me was friendly and courteous. The rental truck that was provided was new and easy to drive.

UPDATED Review: I wrote a bad review a few days ago about a disappointing experience I had with the service here. It was the first time Ive ever taken the time to write a review but I was upset with something that I thought was unfair especially when it was a mistake that they made on their end. Ever since then, the manager took the time to personally call me and apologize for my experience. I really appreciate that. After my talk with the manager, it became super obvious to me that this man truly cares about his customers experiences. I can think of way too many situations where a manager would just let one customers bad experience slip through the cracks, especially when most of their customers have great experiences (just read the numerous other good reviews and this places high star rating). The manager even offered me a full refund on my diagnostic test (something that other car services wouldnt do) all while acknowledging that I was right and that he wanted to make sure that his team would never make a similar mistake again. My own mistake was not trying to speak to him sooner. This place is clearly well managed and if theres ever a problem they will do their best to fix it. A+ for customer service.

I bought a 2021 Hybrid Highlander Platinum in late August. I am very pleased with my purchase and the people who had part in this sale. I had this built in the Toyota plant in Indiana, and my vehicle arrived very quickly after the build date of August 27th.This is my third and final new vehicle I have bought from Shelor, and I am very grateful for their professionalism and follow-up.Previously, I bought a new RAV4 from a Toyota dealer in Roanoke, much closer to my home (only because Shelor did not have the exact vehicle I was looking for). My experience with the Roanoke dealer ended up being a fiasco as time went on. I have always received excellent service at Shelor Toyota on my Prius V. The most recent experience was for a new, small battery on very short notice. I left the vehicle parked near the Service door and used the after hours envelope/form to explain the problem and leave the key fob.The service writers are extremely nice and professional.

Eric as a service manager is great. Its just that the roof on my 2013 Sienna van with less than 40,000 miles on it leaks and has been back and forth to your service department for repair for months. Ive lost count on how many visits it has been.Hopefully it is fixed this time but I am hesitant to say that it has. It is aggravating 😒

Went to Shelor because the other Toyota dealerships were not up to my satisfaction. Im from the North and Handy Toyota had done my work in the past.Shelor gives the same high quality of service. They also are honest in telling you when when you need to replace filters, and other items that might cause an issue in the future. If it doesnt need to be done and can be pushed forward to another time they tell you that.To me honestly is the best service you can give a customer as well as listening to the customer. They do both.I so appreciate this in a service department. It is rare and Ive only found three times in my life. That speaks volumes to me about where I take my car and who I allow to work on it.

Called for simple coolant flush on my Prius. Both people I talked with didnt realize there were two systems to flush. They gave me the price for only one. Once I got there, they explained it would be another 40% more to do both, and take twice as long, so I didnt have time to get both done. Unfortunately, regular mechanics will often not do the coolant flush on the Prius because its more complicated.

As with most car dealers, the salesman was for the most part attentive when selling us our vehicle, but somewhat dismissive afterwards. We asked about the value of a trade-in and never received an answer. In addition, the salesman who sold us the car was not available the day we picked up the car and the salespeople we interactive with were marginally helpful regarding the tech components of the car. We could have used a few more tips regarding the car’s features and felt we were being rushed to move on.

Not super positive experience. Called about a vehicle based on advertised price, drove 1.5 hours to find out they had a hidden markup fee of over $5,200 over MSRP not advertised called a Dealer Package that was literally a markup in which you get nothing extra. They were willing to call the owner of the dealership to negotiate that off if serious.After buying 7 new Toyotas over the last 16 years, my wife and I will make sure we never do business with this dealership again. I now regret buying from them in 2008. The Brandon Toyota dealership in Florida no longer has the worst experience badge for us.UPDATE:While the experience itself did not change, Chris, the General Manager did reach out and talk to me. He seemed to be a much nicer and more sincere guy than our previous encounter. If hed have been there that day wed have been driving away in a new vehicle but when youve had time to think about an impulse buy its not as impulsive.

I purchased a 2005 Prius from Shelor after waiting “in line” for almost a year. I paid a fair price for an extremely popular car when other dealerships were charging thousands above sticker. This year I challenged this dealership to match the level of customer service that I had experienced over 15 years earlier. They did not disappoint!! I cannot say anything negative about my experience. Once again, I knew exactly what I wanted in a very popular model. This dealership is more than thirty miles from my home but I pass a Toyota dealership on the way that is less than five miles away. There are a lot of things that I dont like about the other dealership but there are so many things that I do like about Shelor Toyota. I live in Roanoke, Virginia and have bought automobiles from the Washington, DC area, to New York, to Chicago, to Little Rock Arkansas, to Miami, Florida, to Charlotte, NC area. Shelor Toyota is the only dealership that was competitive with these other markets and I have purchased a new automobile from them. During the sale they are helpful but not forceful. After the sale they are flexible and considerate in scheduling and providing service. I recently had a key made for a 2020 Avalon and their price was a couple of hundred dollars less than the other Toyota dealer. They are good, friendly and accommodating in every way.

Excellent service and very professional. They are always busy, but it usually doesnt take but about an hour or so for routine service. I purchased my 2019 Tundra from here and they have treated me very good since December 2018. My last service a few weeks ago, they forgot to put a oil chance sticker on the windshield and didnt give me my multi-point inspection; they apologized and sent it a few days later along with a free car wash!Have hot and cold beverages, as well as plenty of space to relax while waiting. Several tables and places to plug in for electricity. Kids room also. Would recommend a Toyota from here to anybody!
