We bought flooring and the customer service was EXCELLENT! The lady we spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to answer our questions and assist us with our purchase.

Drove on three different occasions to receive an item that I ordered. Every time I went there after giving a confirmation of delivery, it was not there not to mention other items came in that I never ordered. I will never use Home Depot again.

I happened to be there this evening to return a few items that I purchased a week ago and to buy few other things.A young man who was working at the return desk didn’t have any interest in helping me.He scanned my item and came up with an answer that the product wasn’t purchased from the Home Depot.I was disappointed and more than sure that I bought the item from the gutter and spout isle.I left the store without arguing with him.While stopping at the traffic light I went through the same receipt and that same item was there.I wonder if they must go through training or Home Depot just fills up any spot for associates no matter who it is or their background may be.I’ve been buying from there for 18 years.

We ordered a chest of drawers and tables. Our home was delayed. MATTHEW in curbside listened, understood and was helpful in accommodations to arrange another pick up date, but what impressed me most was his customer service!!! He was great! I felt comfortable talking to him and he did what he said he would do and called me back in a timely manner! Give that young man a raise and a promotion!!! I appreciate his service and help!!!THANK YOU MATTHEW! YOU ROCK!!!

Employees are friendly and helpful? Asked a male employee where the cordless vacuums were and he had us go to the other end of the store only to find out he was wrong. Being disabled was a challenge to walk that far. Electric scooters where I walked in were dead. Asked if there were any charged scooters and all the employees up front pointed to the other entrance, but none that werent busy would offer to get it for me. Im not sure if I will go back

I left lowes because of the service. No one wanted to help. They said I will find someone to help you..over $600 in cart..left it and went to home depot..I was in and out pretty fast.

I just love this store. First, Im from Wytheville and its pretty easy to get to right off the freeway. Second, I ordered some stuff online for pickup and it was SO easy to get in and out and adding the friendly people at the desk I was so pleased after my 50-mile or so drive. Third, the last time I was there I got one of those in-or-outdoor rugs and had it and a bunch of stuff in my cart. The rugs were falling out and the guy coming out of the back room noticed it and helped me put it in a more secure spot in the cart. Always love going there.

Its an OK place to shop. Good luck finding help If you need it. And good luck checking out. Im not very fond of the self checkout and here that is the only choice you have. The might as well just stock at night and then run and hide when the doors opened.

Worst experience ever: We bout a GE Refrigerator in February for March 16 delivery. Delivered without calling us and the delivery men lied : one said we called the other said our phone was not working. Since you did not call can you wait for 30 minutes for us to prepare the space. They refused. Home Depot rescheduled for today, April 3rd. Without informing The Home Depot or my family, they canceled the delivery. Worst experience ever, given we worked so hard to prepare for the delivery and my 8-yr-old daughter was so excited about this purchase that she led.

Its quite easy to get lost given that the building is huge but the vast selection of tools and such is wonderful. A tad pricey but its either Home Depot or Lowes.

Home Depot for pickup orders.I refuse to use self checkout and they refuse to open registers.As usual no registers open and four or more workers standing around the self check area.I work for my money they can work to get my money.

I love this store. For years, I was a Lowes customer through and through. This particular Home Depot has single handedly made me switch my loyalties. The customer service is excellent and the layout is intuitive. One time, as I was being checked out, they asked were you able to find everything you were looking for today? A question that I have answered a million times with yep, but this time I answered well I actually wanted some soil. And the cashier immediately came around the counter and went to get what I was looking for after I answered a couple questions on brand and size. Thanks for being My hardware store.

I went in on Friday to purchase a washer and dryer (cash purchase). There were 2 other people waiting at the appliances. I waited about 10 minutes then set out to find someone to help us. A nice lady called over the PA system and finally some little girl came to the appliance department. She did not know anything about appliances. She started looking things up on a computer after a showed her what I wanted . She kept saying we dont have it in stock , or we cant get this from the manufacturer currently. Ask myself why they had it on display if they could not order it from a manufacturer? I ended up going to Lowes where they had the machines I wanted in stock.

Ordered countertops the end of Feb. Still don’t have them installed 3 months later. Home depo pretty much just took our money then was very hard to get ahold of for assistance afterwards. We had to do all the calling, all the setting up with two other vendors dealing with the countertops. If we would’ve had it to do over we would’ve skipped Home Depo altogether. We’ve made several calls to talk to the lady that took our money or anyone that could help us. Left several messages for them to please call us. Never returned the calls. Has NEVER even called us three months later to make sure everything was completed. Very unhappy and upset about this whole experience. We were told after measurements that we called to set up was done the countertops would be installed 2-3 weeks later and that was March 17th. Two many “subcontractors” dealing with ordering countertops from here. Very mentally draining. Now with our kitchen countertops are torn out and sink we are just waiting and waiting. So upset.

Really didnt go to home depot does anybody really like home depot

The store is well stocked, but the staff didnt know where the items were and called to tell me they werent in stock. I told them where they were and they went back and checked and filled the order. Im glad they rechecked. The staff seemed friendly over the phone, but customer service didnt seem very moved to help, seeing me there, but not asking me if they could help, or referring me to anyone else to get help with my order.

Purchased our blinds through this Home Depot and got a great price. Installation cost was also very good. Adam did the install for us and did a terrific job, highly professional and a super nice guy. Highly recommend this Home Depot for your blinds and make sure you ask for Adam to do the install.

Everyone is always so nice

I ordered a dishwasher and paid delivery, installment and removal of the old one. First a dented one arrived. They took it back. Then after several follow-up, a new date was scheduled, and the delivery person left a new one, without installing and without taking the old one. He (apparently a third party that doesnt give his name or company name, and says he is the boss of his company) said he has done his job and we should get a plumber. I am calling home depot at Christianburg and no answer. If I knew that they wont install it, I would order from somewhere else. Terrible service. No response. Very disappointed.

I really like Home Depot. Never crowded, you can check availability before going to the store, and you can find out where things are in the store online before going. Easy shopping, nice helpful people, and good prices.

Curb side pickup is awful! Waited for over 15 minutes just to get an air filter.

Friendly, helpful service. Easy to find, good parking. Prices are average for area and lower than national average. Selection is good to great. Extras such as solar and specialized lighting. Lawn and garden center open year round, with of course better selection spring to autumn. Delivery available to local areas. Check out times are quick with self check out also available.

Fast, friendly service

Almost always a pleasure. Employees are as helpful as they can be and sometimes more knowledgeable than expected. Sometimes things are in top stock and not on the shelf, but I have never heard one employee complain or even seem bothered about having to get a forklift to pull a pallet down for me.

They have some really good people that work there they come and ask you if you need any help or need any help finding anything and very respectful

The staff at this Home Depot are very friendly and helped me with making a new set of keys quickly. They have a good selection of tools as well.

I was here this Sunday needing actual help pricing out building supplies. I asked at the desk and they for some reason couldnt manage to help me and told me to come back on Monday. What??? I stood around hoping to see someone in an orange apron. Finally, Decota noticed that I looked like I needed help. I explained to him what I needed and told him that the front desk said I needed to come back on Monday. He said thats ridiculous and stopped whatever he was doing to help me. He spent a long time and a lot of effort giving me prices on everything and helping me along the way. Apparently hes worked there for 16 years or so, and you can certainly tell. The young employees have no clue. I felt very confident in Decotas experience. Who ever is listening, give him a raise!

Easy to find products with the mobile app. Also, kudos to the service desk team to quickly look up the next delivery date of an out of stock item. 👍

Stood around for 20 minutes no one helped me. Stood next to an employee waiting for him to finish his current project. He never acknowledged me and then just walked away from me after ignoring that I was standing there. Usually Home Depot is better than that, but today disappointed me.

Good store. Usually has what I need when I go there. Friendly staff thats always willing to help. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. And with everything going on with Covid theyve been one of the most responsible retailers in the area.

Went after lawn weed and feed and pelletized lime they had what I wanted and offered to load it but bags looked like old stock and fertilizer was rock hard.

I tried their curbside pickup. I ordered on Friday, got the message it was ready on Saturday, and Sunday I went to pick it up. I waited in my car for probably fifteen minutes after getting there, for them to come out and tell me that the retaining wall blocks I had ordered were out of stock. I am not impressed.

My husband and I were over at Home Depot in Christiansburg to purchase a new grill. I found a manager and asked him if he could get someone over to assist us with one that was on the very top shelf. He told us to stay over were the grills was at and an associate would be there in a few minutes. We waited over 30minutes, we even went to the service desk and stood there for over 5 minutes. Seemed like the associates cared more about their personal conversations than helping the customers. We left with our money we will take our business elsewhere!

Had a employee to greet us at the door and asked us if we needed to find out where something was. Very polite for a tired lady working on Black Friday. Used to go to the other store across the street, but had a very bad experience with a water filtration system that they install about Fathers day Saturday but had to get them to come back in 3 different times and telling us each time that we had to let the filtered water on so it would run for 24 hours.I asked about maybe the bladder in the tank was no good,or the tank needed 7 lbs of air put in it.After 3 visits,3 days.of letting our water run through the expensive filters,it still would not run enough water to fill our coffee pot up.Then about 3rd. Of September, they finally sent another crew out ,with a new system, and the next day the water system was working pretty good. We had to call the store back again because we developed a water leak,only a small leak.They showed up pretty quickly after my wife called the home office and told them that if the leak caused any damage, they would be liable for it.Within 3 hrs.,the crew that installed the last system came out and found a defect in the end of the hose.they clipped some off the plastic tubing and never had no problems sinceBut we paid Lowes about one thousand dollars for the sink,spigot, and the filtration system, and the labor to install everything. So after I use a 18.00 gift card I have,I will not shop at lowes again.I ran a sliding and home maintenance company for 26 years and mainly shopped only at Lowes for my lumber and flooring materials. I wish that I would have went to lowes only for my appliances.

Great staff, quick service, and very clean & organized.

This company scammed us out of over $6,000 worth of appliances. Over 4 months and they still havent delivered, yet keep telling us its coming. Were in the process of filing a small claims suit against them, but wanted to make sure you all knew to AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. Go to lowes if you need it, right down the road.

We have now used curbside pickup twice and while the check-in is easy, the employees act like they are angry that we’re there, are not friendly, and don’t even let you know they are done loading. Disappointing since the customer service inside the store is usually good.

The people working there are nice and friendly, but theyre not the most efficient... I guess I dont really shop home depot for the service, though... LOL They have a huge selection and fair prices. One thing that really disappoints me about all mass merchants today is their effort to cut out brand name merchandise. The quality of the generic branded products isnt up to snuff at Lowes or Home Depot or Wal-Mart or Target.

Helpful employees

Stood beside two employees for 30 minutes while researching an impact driver on my phone. Not once did they speak to me, much less offer to assist. Fortunately, with all the time I had to myself, I was able to find it $30 cheaper online. I offered them a chance to price match, but they declined.

We ordered appliances from Home Depot recently and the order was incorrectly put into the system causing numerous delays and issues. Originally when we ordered them we were given a delivery date to our house of Sept 9th. We get a phone call on Sept 11th that the appliances were not put in the system correctly and we would need to pick them up. Its a little annoying but we agreed. At that time we were told they should be in soon. We follow back up a week later to be told we arent sure what is going on but looks like the new date is now October 20th and just blamed Covid. We then visit the store that evening and asked for a manager but 2 gentlemen that were not management or over that department tried to help but was not able to make any sense of what was going on but said theyd leave an email with the assistant manager and she would look at first thing the next morning. I waited until mid day and call back to ask for the manager. She answers and says oh yea I saw that email but really couldnt read the PO. After another day and numerous follow ups we basically got a neutral personality answer of we talked to the employee who messed up but it will be October 20th if we even get it then. We explained we are on time lines of construction and need this. We asked if there were any other appliances in stock. We would just use what was there and was told no we have nothing in stock. We call Lowes and was able to get matching appliances and they even offered to deliver. I understand products may not be available but we spent 1000s with this store in the past few months and they were not rude but made no effort to make anything right. No offer to discount. No offer to check other stores basically after several attempts they partially admitted an employee shouldnt have ordered it that way. We will take our business to a business that at least puts effort in to correct mistakes.

Better customer service than Lowes across the street, and way better tool section. You have a slim chance of having an actual human check you out here at the register though, I would prefer they keep a few more registers open Im just a self-checkout due to the some of the things they sell here. Home Depot is doing nothing to encourage people to wear masks. No signs to encourage mask wear, employees are obviously not being encouraged to wear masks. Hardly any customers are wearing masks.Got 2 feet in the door, took a quick look around and realized the situation wasn’t safe, walked out and spent my money at Lowe’s.

Very rarely am I happy going to a Home Depot. They usually dont have what I want or I cant find an associate or the item isnt a fair price. I spent 10 minutes trying to find what I was looking for which was inconveniently in the back middle to far side of store. Then I went to check out and the only register is self-checks. 1- I do not work for your company so I shouldnt have to use this register; 2- if I wasnt in a hurry to get home and fix the problem that I had stopped in there to get a part for I would have left without said part and waited to go elsewhere. Your company, like so many others, is forgetting that customer service means actual humans operating a register too.
