The tech that came out to our house to attempt to fix our dishwasher was not certify to do any electrical work. Which he knew that was the problem to begin with shouldve said something and not charge us the whole $87 fee to come out. This co should be more specific that they are sending a tech out who is not certify to do any electrician work. I wouldve never contacted them to come out. The tech did not take off his shoes, tracked dirt into the house, and was very unprofessional. What a waste of my $85. He said he would call back with a contact for an electrician, never heard back from him again.

Found a good price for a used dryer. They will guarantee it for 3 months. If it does break they will come out and fix it. Great solution for those emergency appliance failures when money is tight.

This place was a life saver! The starter relay for my refrigerator crapped out and I needed a replacement. The owner was friendly and efficient and I was in and out with the right part in minutes and for a very reasonable price. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was a little hard to find. Eau Claire locals, start here before you try and order parts online.

Super helpful, brought in my dryers heating element and they tested it and found it was fine, sold me the fuses that needed replacing instead. Save me $40 dollars and they gave a few feet of foil tape for free in case I needed it to seal anything! Very knowledgeable and very helpful!

Awesome experience, when Sears service misdiagnosed a bad motor in my hood fan. I turned to appliance alternative for a second opinion and maybe find me the part I needed. instead of charging me for something I did not need they figured out the motor was not bad. but that the damper had been incorrectly installed and fell into the motor. so the original diagnosis by Sears was wrong. the warrantee company would have replaced with a new appliance if were not for appliance alternatives work to figure out the real problem . And not charge me for work that did not need to be done. Ii thank them for their honesty. It was a pleasure to work with them! call them first!

Phone calls regarding our Samsung dryer were always handled courteously. I talked with both the receptionist and the repairman (possibly the owner) multiple times regarding when he would come, almost daily for 7 days--always assured a time he would come. Finally this past Saturday when I called again the receptionist (he said this person is his daughter in the family business) at 10:30 am she checked and assured me he would be arriving by late afternoon. This is after assuring me he would arrive on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning. Perhaps he is extremely busy and that would be understandable. But assurances of appointments that didnt happen has been extremely frustrating. Have canceled any time he might be coming and opted for a guaranteed appointment with Sears this morning before noon.

Very nice people and very good prices and very hopeful and the even delivered it for free which they didnt have to and they even give warranties out also and will take your old appliances if you want them to!! I would recommend these people to people that dont have a lot of money and want a good use Appliance and they also found Ive been told are very good at repair and very reasonable and repairs 2 appliances.

Was happy that someone was able to come look at my fridge that was leaking water within a day of calling. After diagnosing the problem, he said hed go check on the part needed and get back to me. Did not hear back that day or next. Called 6 times over the next 3 weeks, left messages - including talking to a person that said they would call me back that day--nothing at all. Waited over a month and then got some one and they told me that cant get the part. During that whole time I still had a fridge leaking water.Very disapointed...-Watch Out.

My daughter bought a washer and dryer ,also a stainless steel side by side refrigerator here back in February. Freezer has not worked since then ,the tub in the washer has always leaked. They at 1st were responsive, they tried to get the freezer working but it never has and they never replaced the tub in the washer, like they said they would. NO RSPONSE TO SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND MESSAGES LEFT TO THERE STORE!! Yesterday I caught them off guard when I called ,they answered. Have an appointment with them at 1:30 today look at it and still waiting ,nobody has shown up yet!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! SCAM

I was attempting to fix my Kenmore washing machine and needed a part. Every other place I called said they could order it for me. Appliance Alternative had the part on hand and gave me a couple tips he thought may help with installation. Hopefully my appliances keep working, but if they don’t I will be calling here first.

Terrible experience. Went through my home insurance to get my dishwasher serviced, claim went in in June and i was charged the deductible for my home insurance, was never contacted although it said they tried but i had to call them.Tried a couple weeks later in July, called and was told the scheduler was out but would be back in an hour and left my information with a guy. Never got called; life got crazy and i was so fed up i didnt try again until last week (october) called and talked to someone on Thursday and was told the owner would be personally coming for an appointment on tuesday at 10am.... tuesday at noon and no sign. Called and left a voicemail, still havent received a call as of today (thursday). Called them AGAIN, and now their voicemail is full and you can’t even leave a voicemail.

At first I was impressed by appliance alternative. They showed up the day I called in a snow storm! Didn’t take their shoes off at the door though. Tracked snow n slop into my house. He opened my fridge door n rattles off 2-3 parts i “needed” to buy to fix the problem. Literallly 5 minutes of diagnosistics. Very helpful with other tid bits of knowledge with other appliances in my house n how to properly care for them and common issues.After a little over a week and no call, I called to inquire, they hadn’t received the parts that typically arrive in “2-3 business days”. I waited another week. Called again, still no parts. So i asked them to tell me the parts i needed so i could order on my own as i intended to do the repairs on my own as well. Simply because the initial $75 to walk into my house for a few minutes to tell me what the internet did seemed like a waste of money. I wanted someone who was going to take the time and be sure of the parts i needed vs tossing money at it. They were very helpful with getting me the parts I needed and even clarified part numbers as I ordered. Gaurenteed me that they were correct and if it didn’t fix the problem they would cover the costs. My parts showed up in 2 days. Which makes me think they didn’t order my fridge parts in the first place originally. I installed the parts after help from a few YouTube videos. Few hours later my fridge quits n gives the same error codes. I’ve called and left voicemails with them a few days in a row now just trying get some more input on the situation and haven’t heard back from them.

Didnt want to stick him with the cost of a new part if he had, in fact, ordered one. Still no response. Lived without a fridge for 2 weeks for no reason. He did eventually send a bill, though, so I guess he didnt lose our contact information...
