I recently went to Mattress Firm in Chino Hills and i have to say that my experience there was spectacular. We were met at the door by a nice gentleman by the name of Christian. He greeted us with a friendly smile and some nice chitchat . He proceeded to show three type of beds. A plush, a medium, and firm to ensure we chose the correct mattress for my wife and myself. This is especially important since we are expecting a child and my wife needs the perfect mattress. Once we established the type of mattress, Christian showed us the different brands and types of mattresses they had. A few more customers came in and he kindly excused himself as he greeted the new customers, but he made sure to constantly check up on us as we made our decision. He didnt pressure us into buying anything, he laid out all the possible options and made us make the choice that benefit us the most. He showed professionalism and friendliness that is hard to come by with some of these mattress sells teams. 10/10 rating for Mattress Firm Chino Hills, and a 100/10 for Christian. Walked in casually on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly greeted by Vince. I liked how he broke down the mattress selection process into several steps that made it easy to not get overwhelmed. He was very knowledgeable and was able to apply my feedback effectively to help me find my ideal mattress. He also made sure I had all of the information I needed for delivery and setup of my mattress and came off as very genuine through the entire process. This place was wonderful. I walked in there just to browse around and look for a double bed. We talked about all of my options since I already had a twin bed which did not have a frame. He was able to talk me through everything from all of their double beds to their mattresses to their frames. I ended up buying a frame for my twin bed and it was very reasonably priced. I have real problem with Mattress Firm business model and maybe other brick and mortar stores like them.My biggest take away is if you really want to save money definitely try the online retailers first. If youre in the market for Nectar and Purple, maybe other online bed in a box companies, please save you money and order online first.The restocking and pickup fees are horrendous!My story.I have been in the market for a new mattress. I tried Nectar and Dream Cloud but have always missed my Beautyrest Black Mattress so I went to Mattress Firm to find one. Chris, the sales person, said they dont have one and the Beautyrest Beyond is their version of it. I tried other mattresses while I was there but was fixed on the features of the beyond because my Beautyrest Black was so amazing.Long story short. I bought the mattress. The medium version and immediately hated it when I slept on it. It was as hard as a rock. I called Chris to complain and he did say that the mattress will need to be broken down and settle. He said to walk on it and sleep on it for 3 weeks so it can soften up.Its been 3 weeks and my back still hurts so I returned it than rather exchange it. Either way, if you exchange or return the mattress youll be stuck with the added fees. Fees that were not present when I purchased a mattress online.Now I have to eat up $600 worth of charges from the restocking and pick up charges. To me its a big rip off especially since I only used the mattress for 3 weeks and they will later flip the mattress later for profit. The new buyer will benefit from it being broken in and the company profits from me and the new customer.The margin on this mattress is over 60%. Either way you look at it the business makes money and transfers cost to consumers.Please do yourself a favor. Skip stores like this and order online. It will save you money if you shop around.

I had such a wonderful experience here. Usually I’m hesitant to try these stores, but I walked in and was immediately helped by Vincent who kindly showed me to the mattresses within my price range. I took a look at various mattresses and found the perfect one. With his help, I was also able to secure a box spring and foundation.This was such a fast and easy process that aimed to match whatever budget and preference I wanted. I had an exceptionally good experience with Mattress Firm in Chino Hills, CA.When I first arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by Vincent Villamor, the sales representative. The store is very well organized and heated (it was mid-40s and windy cold outside). Vincent did an excellent job in asking questions and allowing our conversation to flow. He is also a good listener and showed me a few beds that were all comfortable. I had many technical questions and took good notes. We eventually settled on the Purple3 Hybrid mattress with the MF900 adjustable base. The purchase process was easy, and we had the bed and base delivered and set-up within the week. There was a minor issue with the Purple pillows as they were out of stock at the Mattress Firm warehouse, however, Vincent was able to authorize a pick-up of the pillows at the Corona, CA store. Our first night on the bed was (actually all of our nights are) very relaxing and the massage feature put us right to sleep. We wake up well rested and ready for the day.Overall, my wife and I are very happy (hard to tell with the masks) with the bed and the sales team, including Mike and Kim who did an excellent job in helping to answer our questions. Husband and I initially bought our Purple 2 mattress back in November. We were helped by Vincent and he had a very personable demeanor and very knowledgeable advice for us. We slept on our mattress for 3 months and found that it just wasnt the right fit for us. I needed a softer mattress as I am a side sleeper and it just didnt feel good on my shoulders. We were within our 120 day trial period and came back to exchange the mattress. Vincent was the one to help again and he made sure I felt happy and comfortable with the mattress we exchanged for, he even showed me more options that had not been available the first time around.We have chosen to stick with Purple but have switched to the Purple 3. It has that extra give I need for the shoulder area and Purple is a really great mattress considering I sleep hot. All in all it has been a journey but we were very lucky to have had a kind and understanding experience with Mattress Firm.

I came in to buy a mattress and although I no one was immediately available to help, I was greeted and reassured that someone will be able to help me out. I was glad as it gave me time to look around and get a feel for what I wanted to buy. Vince was the person who helped me and he was just awesome. A retired Air Force Vet who is friendly and helpful. He took his time asking me what I was looking for and showed me all the available options in the store. After narrowing it down to 2 mattresses, he didnt pressure me at all as I was having a hard time deciding between the 2 mattresses. Eventually I made a decision and the checkout process was a breeze. Everything on the invoice was explained to me and no hidden charges. I was however charged extra ($99) to have the mattress brought into the room upstairs. I kind of expected this so I had no problem with it. Mattress was delivered in less than 24 hours. All in all, price included, Im very satisfied with my experience with Mattress Firm and will definitely buy from them again. Maybe the Tempur-Pedic this time around. :)

I went in today not expecting anything. After researching online we wanted to feel out mattresses and tested them along with some pillows. Kim was very friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He made sure our needs, questions, and concerns were all addressed. He had other customers, the phone ringing, and delivery workers calling for his attention but he still took care of us first and was able to multitask and tend to them simultaneously. Right when we entered, Mike was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. He showed me what to look out for when choosing a mattress and helped me narrow down my options. Because I got the head and foot adjustable base, I thought the installation would be difficult so I payed the $150 delivery and installation. However if I were to do it over I would just have them delivery to me for free and I would install myself. Other than that, bed, installation and delivery was good.
