This dealership has comically awful, horrifically bad customer service. My service advisor straight up lied to me for weeks. I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say perhaps he was just negligent or misinformed, but that also does not reflect well on management/training here. Either way, I was given inaccurate information for a good four weeks — a full month. After several weeks of incorrect info, I asked to speak to the service manager and whoever that person is NEVER got in touch with me. My car was waiting on a back ordered part, so I just started calling the parts department directly for an ETA. The parts dept manager (I think his name was Robert) was the only sincere, competent person I spoke with at this dealership. The part finally comes in and the repair is done. After SEVEN WEEKS of my car sitting at this dealership, being lied to endlessly, no loaner car despite doing a recall repair, no reimbursement for ubers, no communication about the status of my car or the part from my service advisor, my car is returned to me completely filthy. (See pics) They couldn’t even run it through the automatic wash. How are they not embarrassed to return a car to a client like this?? Truly mind blowing. This dealership does not care about customer service. Period.

He called me within minutes of me making an internet inquiry to the Chino Hills Ford dealership about a 2021 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid. He did not push dealer extras on me that I didnt want. He was very knowledgeable about the Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid and it was an easy buying experience. I appreciate him charging it up for me too!

I would like to recognize Eric in the service department for his excellent customer service. With all of the challenges due to the pandemic with getting parts for new cars and the delays receiving them it took some time to get what my car needed to get fixed. Eric kept me posted on what was happening and made sure I had a car to drive while mine was waiting for parts. The entire team was friendly and provided great customer service.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! My first visit to this dealership will undoubtedly entice me to return. Chino Hills Ford provided me with a fantastic experience! Mike(my salesman) and Jose(finances), as well as the rest of the team, were a pleasure to work with. Mike is a patient man, and I never felt pressured to make a choice. A true professional who also knows how to make you laugh, he was also very knowledgable about the car I was purchasing, making the transaction and experience much easier and answered any questions I had without hesitation. I wouldnt want anyone else to assist me with my automobile financing than Jose; he was fantastic to work with and was able to secure me financing on a gorgeous Ford Fusion at a fantastic APR and affordable monthly payments! He has a welcoming personality and will go out of his way to make buying a car as simple as pie. The alarm on my Ford F-150 started mysteriously going off on its own for no apparent reason. I searched on the internet and found various possible causes. My service advisor George did an excellent job with initial diagnosis of a faulty lock mechanism which was later confirmed by a technician. I had an extended warranty which George also handled for me and completed the repair earlier than expected. Very positive service experience overall!

Been loyal customer for years. Took car in for an oil change /filters...noise under hood. And brakes.Estimate 1300 for water pump 400 for brakes.I declined the work and was sent a link for finance with Sunbit. No one called to say oil change was done or not. Took 30 minutes for my car to be located in service area. Ended up 85 for oil change.Took car to a mechanic the next day 700. For repair of pump and brakes..Will no longer use the dealership. The Customer Service is terrible. Hiked up prices....

Safe your time and money! Worse customer service and horrible car service!! Wish I could give it -0 stars but unfortunately I’m not able to. We bought our car on December 2020. Long story short, from 16 they wanted to add us up to 22k and that’s not including the interest charge. I was walking out as soon as I heard that number because they promise us a flat number, then the sales manager stopped us to honor that price. Honestly I didn’t wanted to make business with them anymore because on how shady they were but my husband really liked the car and we went ahead and proceed on to buying the car.The following day we notice the car was making some weird noises and it was missing a cover for the car handle which we let them know about it. They said they have to order the part and it will take about a month! Seriously 😒 we said ok 👍🏽 cool we will wait. A month passed nothing and by the way the battery the car was completely dead and never changed it either so I had to buy a new one about $250. They took a while to give me my refund and another month to change the broken handle cover.Now the reason the battery was dead was because as I mention earlier the car would make weird noises when locking and unlocking the car. Well it was the amplifier that was damaged and was draining the battery completely.Now here we go with service. We have been going back and forth with them since late December to now (August)!!!! I don’t live close by and them wasting our only days off for not nothing is annoying!! Seriously guys, step up you communication skills.We had to call them multiple times to check if the parts were there. We had to call them to be sure they had a rental for us which apparently they never do. We had to turn back home multiple times since they had no idea if the part was there or they just didn’t remember what was wrong with the car. Like really?!?! Yolanda was in charge of our car service, guess what she didn’t do much and was useless the whole time. Same with Sandy, went home early and couldn’t even at least let the mechanic know to that the car was there early for him to start with the part replacement. I dropped off the. At at 7:40am! Now I have to leave the car for a whole week since we can’t pick it up since we both work. And all this because…LACK OF COMMUNICATION, LACK OF EVERYTHING.

Recently purchased a vehicle here. While the deal was a great deal, the staff lacks professionalism and dont really give a care for a customers time or requests. Such an old school way of doing business here. Finance person, Andy, told me, Youre the one wasting your time since you refused to pay msrp. Yet hes looking right at the paperwork that shows sales price is msrp. Perhaps, be less condescending and be professional with customers. After 4.5 hours, I finally left the dealership - happy about my new truck and completely angry with the dealership. I will never visit this dealer ever again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

Public Beware!Took our car in, of which we purchased just 4 months ago, to see why the AC was not blowing cool air. The service department reported there being nothing wrong with the AC except that the AC had to be recharged for $300 and was not covered under the Platinum warranty we paid for. I left the car there for about a week just to get the AC recharged and paid the fee. The next day after having picked the car up, I noticed the AC was still not working. I drop the car off for a second time and they told me they could not find what was wrong and that it may cost me up to $500 to repair. I said no, and took the car home and recharged the AC myself with A/C Pro for about $50 mind you I also had to buy a special adapter. The AC works great now.What the heck did I give them $300 for? What are they getting away with other folks. This dealership is supposed to be under new management....Be ware of these scams people.

I walked in just to look, since I still had 7 months left on my lease. I ended walking out with a brand new fully loaded Edge. The new general manager Ali, was very welcoming and friendly. My consultants, Veronica and Mahdi were super patient with me and helped me find the IT car. They made sure that I was satisfied and comfortable with the selection. I will admit, I’m not an easy customer so props to them for working with me. I was a little hesitant because they were so busy but they sure made the time for me. I’m glad I stopped by, I’m very satisfied with my new car, their knowledge, patience and professionalism. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured! Looked for car prices online through carfax and found this 2012 Honda Accord for the price of 6999 and drove almost 2 hours to go see this car because of this price. When we got there I asked for this car and and I told them the price and they took my down payment and then when it came down to sign the contract the numbers were way higher than expected. I was very aggravated because this was not told to us before going into the contract signing room. The price difference was way too much and I kept questioning why and they told me straight out that is how they advertise, they advertise low to get customers and then once you get there the prices are not what was advertised. Well as a single mother trying to buy my college son a car to go back and forth to work the advertising price is important because I wouldnt have drove miles to get a car that I could have gotten for same price 5 mins from where I live. Long story short I was told the price difference was because they added accessories that is not optional and yet on the contract it was listed as optional purchase. The price difference after 4,000 down payment was still 11,405 from trying to buy a 6999 car. I was basically forced to take this car because my son already needed this car but I regret it. I could have bought something way nicer and newer for this price. I have tried to reach out to the finance dept after and they dont return my calls. They were so eager to take my money and now they dont even call back. No I dont recommend this dealer....

The environment of this dealership sadly isn’t on par with other dealerships I’ve bought from (Maserati puente hills, Claremont Toyota, Mercedes Ontario, Chevy Chino, Mercedes Riverside) they definitely make it seem like the customer is trying to lowball them when all their prices are hiked through the roof. They keep using the same tactic of “the market” to increase their prices dramatically when all other dealerships are more reasonable and actually want to make a sale. It’s like the managers here don’t even want to make a sale. I would definitely say to check out other dealerships just to avoid your time being wasted even when you have money in hand. I hope someone who actually has authority reads this so they could make a change to better management since they’re the issue.

There are no words at how pleased my husband and I were with the amazing service and the ones involved with our deal. A HUGE thank you to Ali, Tyler, Zoe, and Andy! Right when we got there Zoe & Tyler greeted us & we told them what we are looking for and bam out to the lot and found 2 explorers we liked. Zoe took us on a test drive and he knew his cars! Answered all our questions and told us everything we did not even know. He didnt over sell us or pressure us at any time. We then got back agreed on the Explorer we liked and started our talk with Tyler. They made us feel comfortable and there are no words to say how pleased and satisfied we were with the whole process. Tyler showed us all different types of deals and which would be the best fit for us. Had the invoice of car pulled, no hidden fees, he found all the rebates and all the offers he was able to apply to our deal. This was one of the best experiences we had at a car dealership in over the many years weve had cars. There was tons of laughs, amazing personalities, friendliness, and just a great atmosphere. We then went to Andy in the financial department and he was welcoming, nice and funny. Prices went up to service the vehicle. When the sales rep said based on my mileage that it would be $289 because they needed to change the cabin air filter, which i do, and the engine air filter, which i replace too, the service cost drops to $90+ dollars.No way those filters with labor cost that much of a difference.Typically you get a courtesy wash, not this time. My 2+ hour wait, with people getting serviced and completed after me for my oil change, tire rotation and no fluid top off, i was not completely satisfied.A plus at this location is that i found a plug next to a table to do some work, with their wifi.

My husband was planning to buy me a Mach 1 Mustang as a 50th birthday / empty nester present. I realize female car enthusiasts – and especially ones my age – are still relatively unusual, but our whole family has long been car enthusiasts. Id seen some reports that certain Ford dealers were asking $5K over invoice for the Mach 1 – which struck me as unusual, given that its neither a Shelby variant or in particularly short supply nationally – but then we checked what was available at our local dealer.Chino Hills wanted TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER INVOICE. $86K for a $61K car, or nearly as much as a Shelby GT500!! Im not sure if this dealership is *trying* to put itself out of business, but theyve certainly lost mine (as well as that of everyone I know nearby who buys Ford).This type of consumer abuse is UNCONSCIONABLE.

Came here last week with my mom to get her into a new vehicle and honestly couldn’t have been more impressed. I initially called in to confirm the online price and spoke with George one of the managers. I asked if there’s any hidden fees and he emailed me a full breakdown including the package that’s on there. (Upon my shopping i realized every dealership does this) so i was thankful he was so transparent with us. We made an appt the next day and my mom drove off in a new explorer. Everyone was friendly and treated us with excellent service. Thank you George and team for a wonderful experience !

Lisa was amazing but I was told to come down by a sales associate and the sales manager to look at a specific vehicle. When I arrived I was informed by Lisa that the car had been sold. I was never called nor did the sales associate or sales manager come out to talk to me. Another employee was rude when answering questions that I asked Lisa. Overall a bad experience except Lisa.

I normally never leave reviews, but my experience was THE BEST car buying experience I have ever had. Dean was AMAZING from the first moment I spoke with him. He was honest and not at all pushy. He listened to my wants and needs and made them happen. There is not one thing negative I can think of to say. I was met with smiles and kindness by everyone there including other salesmen and the finance guy- talking to me about March Madness made me feel relaxed not stressed out like car buying can be. My situation was rough I had an older car and drove in with a car I was renting. The sweetest guy Zohayr ended up driving my purchased car 90 minutes to get it to my house and picked up my old car from my house- if that isn’t the best service a dealership could give I do not know what is. I recommend Chino Hills Ford to anyone who is in need of a new vehicle. Ask for Dean he’s the man!!

When I was working for this dealership I decided to buy a new car from them. As a Ford employee, Ford gives a breakdown of employee pricing when buying a vehicle. Everything was all good up until I got to the finance guy. Thankfully I called my mom to help me review the paperwork before signing because there were discrepancies and they wanted to charge me more than my Ford employee pricing. So if theyre willing to screw over their own employees then think twice before purchasing a car from there. I didnt sign anything until I got the correct price. So be careful. Giving 2 stars because everyone else was helpful at the beginning and I think the value they gave me for my trade in was fair enough.

Spoke with Daniel in new car sales. When I told him I wasnt interested due to the artificial markup on the car, he literally HUNG UP ON ME. Never, ever, ever, touching this place with a 10-foot pole.*UPDATE AFTER MGMT RESPONSE *Not sure what phone records the dealer is looking at. You can clearly see the phone call was over 4 minutes long. I barely got the “good” out of my mouth (when saying goodbye) before I heard the click on the other end.

Deceptive advertising and sales of used car prices. Chino Hills Ford ensures they advertise a popular vehicle at a lower price than surrounding dealers. Before your test drive they present the Protection Package which has been installed as an option on the vehicle. When you close the deal the price has increased $5000 due to the optional Protection Package. Theres a 500% markup on this package and its not optional, its installed. It should have been included in the advertised price. They dropped the price of the Protection Package to $2037. After 3 hours of dealing with their sales process I said I was leaving. They dropped the price again to $1625 and dropped the price of the car slightly to bring the total to match my original offer from 2 hours earlier. They had completely lost my trust and my sale. I hope you have better luck.

Got a reply from someone that they are the new owners and not responsible. However, when a corp is bought, assets and liabilities are transferred to the new ownership. If I owed money, they would certainly would want to collect it and would be saying, all new payments are to be made to us now as we are the new owners. To say we are not responsible doesnt work as all previous problems are now theirs to resolve.If someone is reading this review and thinking about being their customer, be aware of how the new ownership will treat you should you have a problem, they will surely look for any excuse to not honor their responsibility. First I contacted them about the vehicle on the phone & internet and got the price. But when I arrived they had dealer extras of $3k they did not tell me about! That wasnt right, clear coat and plastic door guards, crazy for a work van and for $3k?! They removed it and I bought the van. Then on the way home I got a flat and found that the jack was missing. One tire never held air, I had to put air in it every day, twice. I spoke to them in various ways and they never did anything, just kept putting me off. Its a year now, I got a tire on my own a long time ago and drive around with a floor jack if I get another flat tire. At one time I got a text from them that said they were under new management, blah, blah, blah. Still no real response. When I bought the van it took then 2 hours to clean it and still left stickers on it. I had to wait 2 hours for that. I wont deal with this dealer again, nor will anyone I know. BTW, love the van, just not this company.

I recently purchased a Ford Fusion Plug-in car. I got a absolute steal of a deal thanks to my salesman Washington. He was strait forward and didnt beat around the bush. I gave him my numbers and he made them happen. Ive bought maybe 7 cars from dealerships and this was my quickest and most pleasant experience. I only remove 1 star due to the add-on management tried to force me to purchase. Other than that I cant say thank you enough to Mr Washington for helping me facilitate the deal!

The salesman was amazing but the rest of the dealership was not so much. You think after buy a $60,000 truck they would give you a full tank of gas but nope they only give you a 1/4 tank. Their finance team uses the same false advertising tricks that you would expect from a dealership with no morals. Put one price up on their website to get you to come in than have a different price that is $5000 to $9000 more. The finance guy gets you to sign the paper for your deal than comes back as ask for more and promises to give you a little to but than doesn’t. I had a check in hand and it still took me over 4 hours. To be honest I would recommend this place to anyone.

I’m extremely happy with the service I have received at Chino Hills Ford! The new management team is amazing i thought that service was going to change but let me say it has gotten 1000% better I dropped off my car with the service team and I was greeted right away and received with amazing service, I had an issue before and had to talk to the new Service manager and I felt so relieved after talking to him he solved a problem I had for years and made everything right I’m glad this store has Joe Virgen as the service manager I can already see the changes great job Chino Hills Ford I’m so glad they are under new management!!!

EDIT: Mike (the salesman) followed up with us, finally got me a breakdown and we were able to work out a deal after all. I appreciate his willingness to understand where we were coming from and we’re both happy a deal was made. Still don’t like the fact that they try to add on a bunch of unnecessary aftermarket items but we were able to negotiate off many of them. When all is said and done buyer beware. The price isn’t what is listed online but everything is negotiable.Purchased a brand new truck in September 2020. Great experience. James was the sales guy who helped us out. Great guy.Because of our previous experience, we went back a few months later to purchase a new explorer. Noticed things were different. Salesmen were all different and now they loaded $5000 of “upgrades” to all vehicles. They don’t include that on the prices of vehicles online. We found a car we liked and sat down to run numbers. credit was ran and came back with what we were relatively looking for. I asked the finance guy a simple question, what was the final price of the car? He kept coming back and telling me the same numbers (monthly payment and rate) but wouldn’t give me the total price. After 10 minutes we got up and left, sick of the back and forth for a simple question. Felt like they were trying to pull something over on us. I know they have that info available, why not provide it? Looking for transparency when spending $45K.New ownership made this place go backwards in my opinion.

Do not take your vehicle here. They tell you it will be done and do not follow thru. I called them to find out the statice of the vehicle and they told me they would call me back to let me know. I had to call them back and they said that the service department was closed and i was out of luck tilll the next day for some one to get my key to get my vehicle. There was no manager available to atleasstget pur key and vehicle so that we could have it for work the next day.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. We bought a vehicle on 01/16/2021, it is now a month and the vehicle is still not fixed. Furthermore, now the vehicles engine needs to be repaired due to a known issue 3 days after buying it. How does the dealer respond on Yelp? by pointing figures at my husband and I. We are only customers, telling our story on how we were treated, and still being treated :) Yelp has the details.

I just needed a simple oil change for my Ford Escape and filled out their form online to schedule it. Not long after I got a phone call from Gabriel about coming in to buy a Ford Escape? I was confused and told to contact the service department if I wanted to get service and that it would be wise to schedule it instead of walking in since weekends are busy. I checked my e-mail shortly after and saw a response to my service request saying they were excited by my Ford Escape inquiry, except I never inquired to buy one. I was told I could come in and test drive it which was not at all what I wanted. I filled out a service request, not a request to look at cars. I responded and told them that I had never wanted to buy a car. I filled out a form on their website to get my Ford Escape serviced, not buy one. Clearly they never read my e-mail response. When I called back to reach the service department Gabriel put me on hold 3 times in a row and kept asking me what I was calling about even though I had already told him I was trying to reach the service department. Each time he got back he acted like it was a brand new call saying hello, how can I help you after placing me on hold which was odd and annoying. Which of course he never ended up actually let me reach by telling me that they thought they might be busy. I have already got my car serviced elsewhere since they cant seem to understand wanting to schedule a simple service request. They contacted me two days later on Monday night trying to call me at 8PM asking if I wanted to come in today to look at a car. I did not pick up the phone since I don’t normally pick up unknown numbers especially at night. Also, why would I want to go at 8PM in the middle of the night? Gabriel definitely had not read my e-mail response. After not picking up, I got a text about coming in to buy a car as well as a voicemail from Gabriel. Thank you, but no thank you. I do not want to buy a Ford Escape. I already have one and if I did I highly doubt I would from this location if they can’t even understand something as simple as wanting to get an oil change. It should not be this difficult.

I got to say, I went Chino Hills Ford about 6 weeks ago. I was cautious. I met with Daniel Blake my sales representative and felt at home. Daniel and the team made me feel at home and safe while considering buying a new truck.Al and all it took some time , but I rolled away with a new truck last night that is above and beyond what I expected. Beware don’t buy from this dealership saw a vehicle online for $30600 got there drove it liked the car when we sat down and talk numbers total out the door price was $39900 when asked for details they said $4k+ plus was taxes and license fees okay good and the other $5k+ was for a “package” that was already added to the vehicle I told them I didn’t want this “package” they told me I had no choice that it was already added to the car left the dealership disappointed I had liked the car and I was ready to take it home.

Where to start..I found a 2021 F-150 at Chino Hills Ford I liked and as I was selling mine the next day I figured I would call and see if it was still available AND before wasting my time driving down I would verify the listing price (minus taxes, and applicable fees) was accurate. George (Sales Manager) verified the listing price matched their price as well. However once we sat down and ran the numbers it didnt add up. Aghh come to find they had throw in their $5000 optional protection package. To not bore you with the back and fourth their optional package is on every vehicle and cannot be removed per George. Complete SCAM.. Regardless I needed a vehicle and we ended up working out a deal where they took it down to his cost haha. I was to come in with my approval letter from bank and X amount of cash the next day. I show back up the next day and George says lets get this going. Only to come back to the table and argue how they are losing money on the deal and I must finance through them. Awesome another 30 minutes of haggling on what was supposed to be a done deal.Fast forward. The gentleman I dealt with in finance didnt seem very happy to be working. He didnt congratulate me on my new purchase let alone smile. The only time he perked up was when he tried to sell me the extended vehicle warranty to which I politely declined. His response: You know the vehicles now days have many problems and this plan keeps you secured. So basically my brand new 2021 the vehicle I was buying is known to have problems and I shouldnt have bought a Ford. Killer sales pitch guy.They did not take any more than $3,000 on a debit card so we agreed he would have a Salesman follow me home for a check. When I arrived home I opened the garage, exited my vehicle and noticed a dent on the upper panel on the passengers side beaming off the light. I pointed the damage out to the salesman who agreed and told me Theyd take care of it no problem. Well 2 weeks later, 2 phone calls to the Salesman Michael, 1 to George, 3 Phone calls and 3 texts to Shauna (their Customer Relations GM I believe was her title) i still have no appointment or anything to really rely on. Shauna had called me to see how my experience was with Michael was which I told her was pretty good only for her to find out about the damage she was unaware of. She was very nice about getting her pictures and told me she would make sure it was taken care of and contact me Friday to schedule the at home appt for the following Wednesday. No phone call Friday, so I called her Monday and she let me know she was not in the office but would call me back ASAP. Tuesday rolled around and I sent her a message asking if she had figured out a time yet. No response. Wednesday I left a voicemail.. Im doing all the leg work on a brand new vehicle to get a dent fixed I could not see in the darkness as I left their lot. Really sad to see a dealership sell and bail. Apparently they do not care much about repeat business.Do yourself a favor and go see Airport Marina Ford. Best Ford experience i have had to date. This is my 7th Ford as a family. Chino Hills Ford by far has been the worst experience to date. Oh, and if you need Service work (in my case a Trailer Brake Control Box Installed) go see Hemborg Ford. They had me in and out in a few hours. Good Luck getting Chino Hills Ford Service Department even on the phone! I tried for 2 days.
