I have been shopping at this location for years. The majority of my Halloween decorations have come from this store & Christmas is the next big holiday for them. Theres plenty of arts & crafts year round at this store not just seasonal.

It was great one could get in big trouble and spend more than one wanted everyone is so kind and helpful great experience l give them a 10 Star and your 5 Star.

My go-to place for most of all my arts & craft projects. Helpful & eager to assist staff. I especially appreciate the employees in the framing department as I look to them often for advice on the right style & size frame & matting and their expertise in putting it all together.

The service at this Michael’s is A+ and the vibe of the people here always positive. They make the effort to greet you every time you walk by one of their associates. The only reason they lost a star is that I have been here twice in which I tried to pay for a frame that was placed on the “Clearance” rack and I found out at checkout that they were not on clearance, so that should be fixed, in terms of who is handling inventory. Other than that, the store is organized, clean, and everything one who is searching to be creative is looking for.

Fast and friendly service everytime i shop here (the seasonal and part time help try, so they might not know everything yet) just bring along some extra patience. While things are a little higher than the big box stores, the selection and quality usually makes it a much better deal in the end. The checkout lane wasnt too bad even with only one cashier. They had everything i needed to finish my autumn tree because of the variety of pumpkins and garlands. Thank you Chino Michaels!

As usual, I went in to look for one or two things. I walk in and every creative idea or nerve in my body goes crazy!! I LOVE this place!Some stuff is on the high side of the price scale. But Clearance, Specials, and focus helps keeps things within reason. Especially for those of us with lots of ideas and cobwebs in our wallet.Theres some really cute Halloween decor; most of it was 40%off or better. Some good stuff for creating your own, too.Be sure to look for signs on the shelves and read them carefully. It may say 60% Off but look for the small print to make sure it applies to your choice.Look for the price tag on Clearance items. Just because its on those shelves, you could still be paying a lot more than you think fair. I.e. 4 icing decorator tips on Clearance, ran under the price scanner, were $6. To me, thatd be full price. They were plastic and basic. Sturdy plastic but still.The store was well maintained, lots of staff on the floor to help and direct, cashier was friendly while ringing me up (and patient when my total was more than I had).I still love Michaels. Didnt give it 5 stars cuz its expensive (good quality tho), not enough little parts to come up with your own ideas (lots of kits and premade things) and Clearance means they want to get rid of it but youre still gonna pay more than feels right.Be creative, be safe and HAVE FUN!!

Great place except they rearranged it and its not easy to find stuff

Expensive place for crafts unless you have a coupon. Most of the staff at this location are friendly except for the girl with the heavy eyeshadow. Dont know if shes the manager, but shes very rude, always seems bothered. One time I asked her where if they had plain mugs to paint. She raised her hand to point and said theyre in that direction and walked away. Another time I went for store pick up in the back and she was the one back there. I asked her if she needed to see my email. She rolled her eyes and said, your order number. I gave her the number she came out with my heavy bag, I took it from the counter and the bag ripped. She walked away as to not deal with me anymore and I had to hug the bag out of the store.

It is very busy at this time of year. I am happy that they still have coupons online for various items. The stores layout makes it hard to find items. I had to ask an employee twice. The employees were very nice and willing to help. The service is also very fast considering how busy the store is.

Store looked great and really organized. Unfortunately a long line and only 1 cashier ringing on a register with a card reader keypad missing a button. Multiple employees walking around but nobody jumped on a register. If you are going to have only one register open then make sure it is fully operational and have all support staff trained to assist when the line gets long

My wife loves this place for her crafting needs.Theyve opened up the space for social distancing. Friendly team.Wish they enforce or mention proper mask wearing as a few times Ive been there masks are hanging off or noses are exposed which looses a star for safety.When proper mask wearing is enforced this place is great.

Michaels is a dangerous place for me. It has too many shiny toys that I want to play with. If I didnt have real responsibilities (& the laws of physics were on my side) I would have one of everything in that place. Alas, I have a small home and enjoy being able to feed my child so I wander the well-stocked aisles looking for fun projects that fit my budget. The coupons allow me to play around with new bits of seasonal decor and satisfy my crafty urges. This is a great store with very helpful employees. Go at your own peril...I mean, enjoy!

Like a kid in a candy store, Im now a Micheals regular. Pre-Covid my only hobby was gardening. But with all the BOGOs and sales at Micheals is affordable to explore my creative side and found a passion for painting and other mediums.

Michaels has all the crafts and then some you are looking for. Bought some beautiful paint by numbers, some on sale for a real good price, gel pens scratch pads etc.Love Michaels store.

Very poorly organized store. The walnut location is much nicer and cleaner. As I was trying to find a paint color, an employee walked right in front of me to block me from what I was looking at so she could show another customer something. No excuse me or anything. After standing there in disbelief for a few minutes she asked if I was with the other customer. I told her no, that I was trying to look at paint. Such an odd interaction. The cashier was very pleasant but I wont be shopping at this location again 😬

One of their check-out staff treated the military family absolutely with no RESPECT!!!! I went to this store at Chino with my son today to buy some goodies for Valentines Day. I bought two stuff in total. During checking out, I was asked by the staff only two(this is the first sentence she spoke to me)? By this point, she still hasnt greeted me. Then I asked do you offer military discount? She looked me and said what?, I asked again do you offer military discount? Then she is like, only if you have a Michaels account and linked to it. Which is rare to me since I have the military ID with me. After leavinf the store, I checked on their official website and it said show your military card at checkout, and if you have Michaels Reward Account, your status will be synced within 24 hours. She lied to me and did not want to help me with a really bad attitude. I feel really disappointed to customer services personel like her. By the way, she treated the last customer really well with laugh and smiles during their converastion while we were in the line. But to me she changed her attitude right away. I cant believe we fought for our country with people like her. No kindess but with judgment and discrimination. Id rather drive longer to another store in Walnut or Brea.

Located in a major shopping plaza near Ross, Target, Aldi, Party City, Cravings Market, and tons of other local shops. This store usually is out of stock on certain items and has a smaller layout than other locations.

Michaels has anything you need to do with arts and crafts.. Any art projects Im working on this is my to go place.. They always have sales going on each week and if what youre looking for isnt on sale they have coupons you can use.. Im always using my coupons I get sent to my email which come in handy.. I would recommend this place to anyone thats working on a art project, a scrap book, crafts with the kids or jewelry making..

Only one register open😒.I alway find what I need at Michaels but unfortunately the line was to long with only 1 register. After waiting in line for a while me and two other people decided to leave .

Employees very helpful and knowledgeable of what they do.

Terrible. I am a long time Michaels customer and the last few times I have been there have been really bad. The cashier didnt say hello today. She didnt say anything at all. The shelves are more than half empty. The store is dirty and disheveled.Its very disappointing to see such a black of pride in your job and place of employment.

Went to get some scrap booking stuff.

The store was pretty clean. Lots of things on sale. Went to get some cake rounds to put my cheesecakes on, and they had them in stock. The people there were nice and helpful.

Hobby Lobby!!! is the place to shop now Michaels has gone down hill for sometime now they dont take other coupons like before just theirs which is about 15 to 20% off their employees are rude .

Furious!!! Came to pick up a curbside order and have tried calling the store multiple times but it keeps hanging up on me. I’ve been sitting outside the store for 20min now. I’m about to knock on their doors. Don’t make curbside an option if it’s too complicated for your store to handle.

Really great experience today at Michaels. My family & I, went today to get some supplies for my daughter school project. But we found so many other things for our home there, we received great customer service today.

My go to spot for picking up my supplies. From art supplies, to getting some cake decorating tools. If there was something to make a note of improvement, it would have to be a more full stock of cake decorating tips, and a better selection of blank greeting card stocks. Just minor details but overall my 1st choice/stop before going to joannes on shopping for supplies or holiday decor.

The Aaron Brothers framing section of Michaels was very helpful. The sales associate had incredible knowledge and insured that all of my needs were met.

Prices and selection of nice frames 20 x 24 is nonexistent. Custom is only option, which is way overpriced. Plenty of better priced selections online and not at Michaels. Very disappointing.

I shop here often because its the best place for craft supplies - but this particular store drives me crazy that there is never staff in the floor to help you and lines are always long. The staff is always very nice but they just need more of them!

Overall okay. Seemed a little pushy on the upscale. I understand that getting a custom frame has its benefits over a generic frame, but no need to say it three times. I dont know if it was pride or just job insecurities

I enjoy shopping there, they have a nice variety and good prices, but the reason I gave it 3 stars is the service. I called with a question about stock on an item and was on hold over 10 minutes waiting for them to connect me with someone to help me. I hung up and called back. I was out on hold for almost 6 minutes before I gave up. I dont want to make a 20 minute drive only to find out that they are out of what I need, but theres no way of knowing. So, shop in person and dont bother to call them.
