Pam and Lou Doubis sold the business, Bryce the new owner is great! also a pilot! Instructors are very helpful. Schedule fills up fast book a few weeks in advance. Right across from planes of fame! Recommend the Catalina demo flight for the first timer flyers well with it. Planes are well maintained meticulously.

Awesome for kids looking for aviation summer camp!

DuBois Aviation has been a lovely experience for me. I have flown over 2,000 hours and have seen a handful of schools, and I really enjoyed the friendly staff and airplanes here.I had the fortune to train with Lou, the owner (and aviation guru legend), in their Piper Apache twin engine, and although it is an older plane, I always really enjoyed flying in it. The beast ran well and Lou made very sure it and all his other planes are in working order.Every day having a lesson at DuBois was a great day that I looked forward to. The whole experience was comfortable like an at home feel. I always left lessons feeling good. Highly recommend!

Ive been renting from DuBois since 08 or so. Every other flight school out there seems to be in it strictly for the money. I can tell you for a fact, this place is not like any other flight school youve been to. Lou [the owner] is all about giving people the experience of flight and training them properly, at an affordable rate. If I could take this place to AR with me, I would. Lou keeps a well maintained fleet of aircraft and is 100% honest. If youre looking to rent or start training, this place is worth going to. Im going to miss flying out of here. Its the one flight school in SoCal I trust. Other schools try to draw you in with the new G1000 172s, but then you also pay a pretty penny, and for mediocre instruction. If you come to DuBois, youll learn how to fly the old fashioned way, with charts and pilotage, making you a better pilot in the long run. Thank you for everything Lou, I learned a lot from the few rides I had with you. If I ever make it back to CA, Ill be sure to visit!

Excellent customer service. Staff is very friendly and professional. Instructors are very knowledgeable. Ladies at the front desk are very helpful inperson/over phone. My current instructor is Colin. Very down to earth person and he can get you on fast learning pace in very few hours. Awsome school in the Socal area!
