Marvelous local coffee shop. Stumbled on this while visiting Chillicothe for the morning. It is much larger than it appears from the street. Paper City has a great eclectic vibe, good coffee, and a very good breakfast BLT. Definitely worth a stop.

An absolutely wonderful local coffee shop set in a classic building storefront for old Ohio. I sat at the bar working and was pleasantly surprised to see an old bowling lane used for their bar top, and the historical old brick that was exposed throughout the shop was quite inviting. Now to the coffee, I had a vanilla latte, a flat white, and a Cubano; all of which were artfully crafted and delicious. The staff was pleasant to conversation with while I was working and very friendly. I can see exactly why this is a local favorite.

Cool place, awesome coffee. We had a dark roast, maple bourbon latte and a chai latte. The pumpkin donuts.....amazing!

Prices are comparable to other coffee shops. The service was wonderful- the lady waiting on me was informative, patient & allowed us to sit down & brought us the coffee when ready. They had a nice selection of pastries as well & a nice atmosphere to dine in.

We stopped in Chillicothe on a road trip and got takeout lunch from Paper City Coffee. Their Thai Peanut wraps were absolutely incredible, full of flavor and fresh vegetables. The Greek pasta salad and pickled vegetable sides were delicious too. A fantastic local business to support. We will stop here every time we pass through!

Decided to stop here while passing through Chillicothe. Very nice local spot- great wifi and desk spaces for getting work done. This shop also has lots of group seating for getting coffee with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

I come here often to get coffee.The atmosphere is cozy,and its a breath of fresh air to hear music playing that isnt country or hip hop.

The environment is cool but the prices are high and most of the time, any food you order takes 30+ minutes. Friendly staff but very slow. If you enjoy the slow pace and have a whole day to spare it’s worth the trip but definitely not a place you can go to with any other activities planned. 2 stars because it’s impractical to make people wait 30 Minutes for a food that takes 5 to cook. Maybe quote the time as longer.

This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The ladies that run this place are awesome and the food is spectacular. Their Breakfast BLT is the best BLT that I have ever had. I had their lunch pinini as well and it was so good! You must visit this place if you are in Chillicothe.

Went with the wife and daughters to have a little brunch and just sitting and joy some conversation. Staff was wonderful and the avocado BLT was really good too. Just kind of wish they would have had some Pepsi. Not into coffee and ended up with just a water

I absolutely love Paper City. The coffee is great, the cinnamon rolls are delicious, and the general coziness of the store make it a wonderful place to spend time in. Their online order system is easy to use and reliable. Plus, I especially love how Paper City gives back to this community. Overall, a wonderful business that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Favorite coffee spot! Their cinnamon rolls are HUGE and homemade. They used whipped cream cheese on top and it is SO good!

While going to school in the area, Paper City became my fav place to study and mix audio. The avacado toast is to die for! The whole menu is satisfying. The staff is kind and courteous. Ill miss this place very much.

Best matcha latte in the state of Ohio. I recommend the potato hash too, and they make great cappuccinos. The service is always kind. I highly recommend stopping here if youre in town.

Offered curbside p/up gave me a time I was there right on time, waited decided I better go in...and they hadnt started it. But the barisya was very pleasant and got my order in minutes while I browsed the books(which were good reads FYI) so it was relatively painless. The coffee was AMAZING, my mom thought the reg brew was good too. I got a blended Carmel Latte added a shot....perfect! Ill be back many times and bring others.

Definitely lives up to their reviews! The barista was very nice and we got our food and drinks rather quickly. The atmosphere was more homey and welcoming than most coffee shops I’ve been to in the past. Definitely would go again and encourage others to go!

Stopped here on our way back from Hocking Hills. Absolutely astounded by their take on the avocado toast. It was loaded up with avocado. They provide 2 small quiches with a single order. No stale quiche slice that was made 6 hours earlier. My wife enjoyed her sandwich as well. I would gladly make a pit stop here again.

I hate leaving poor reviews, but Google has prompted me to share my experience and I have to be honest (since I am seeing mostly positive reviews and not seeing why), when my partner and I stopped in (just before lockdown), the staff was incredibly rude and kept staring at us, but we were not greeted nor was our order taken. They seemed more interested in talking to one another and glaring at us rather than taking our order. It was just a really unwelcome environment and we felt like we were somehow jusy the wrong types for their niche environment.

My tea was unsweetened and I told her sweet and something was in my tea and there was an egg on my table with crumbs. I asked for sugar packets and she gave me one. Hate it here

I love this warm atmosphere. The coffee, pastries, & salads have always been delicious. However, I recently visited & was shocked to see two dogs come out of the kitchen where food is prepared. I am a dog lover too, but I don’t want dog hair in my food. I also have friends who are so allergic to dogs that paper city would not be an option for them. Is there a way to be both dog friendly & yet keep the dogs out of the shop & kitchen? Just something to consider.

Best coffee shop In Town! Love the lavender vanilla latte and pumpkin spice. The thing that sets this place apart from all the rest is the always consistent quality , and the friendly customer service. Most of them remember my name which is always nice .

Didnt like that they warmed up my quiche with a microwave. Need a toaster oven for that! Otherwise, great place and coffee. (The quiche was still delicious 😏)

Upscale downtown coffee shop. I am not a coffee drinker but like hot tea, and hot chocolate. Paper City does not offer unsweetened tea something I would prefer but I still frequently visit. I usually order Diet Coke instead. Lunch menu options are healthful and creative. Atmosphere is industrial vintage with a mid century flair. Seating is spacious and comfortable. This business took a chance by opening off the beaten downtown district path. Paper City has no problem drawing customers from our downtown district. The walk is pleasant and eye pleasing. Chillicothe is full of historical buildings and the walk to Paper City does not disappoint. So if your just looking for a relaxing place to work or taking your mom for lunch try Paper City Coffee Shop.

This isnt a mainstream, specialty drink shop with super sugary dessert drinks. Their espresso drinks really showcase the coffee and have a great balance. I got the Cinnamon Sugar Cortado and a cinnamon roll. The Cortado was perfect- could really enjoy the coffee flavor with creamy, steamed milk to cut the bitterness. The cinnamon sugar adds the the aroma. The cinnamon roll is great as well. The best part is the light, fluffy, cream cheese icing on top!Bottom line, this is the type of REAL coffee shop we are missing in this area. Not the chain stuff with burnt beans and sugar-loaded drinks. Love it!

Not a lot of flavor options for fancy coffee but the ones they have are delicious! Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Be prepared to wait a bit if theyre busy though

Wonderful place, atmosphere is amazing, delicious FRESH food, fantastic coffees, and the owners commitment to the local youth (via mentoring) is top notch. Definitely a five star place. My students LOVE to meet here for tutoring sessions. I highly recommend this estsblishment to everyone regardless of age.

I ordered a sweet caramel latte from Paper City Coffee recently and it was one of the best caramel lattes I have ever had. I can’t wait to order another the next time I’m in Chillicothe or just driving through it.

It was great being able to come into Paper City with my nephew. We could grab a light snack and drinks and it was roomy enough to sit while my nephew napped and I was able to read or get some writing down. Coffee and food was wonderful.

The best cinnamon hot tea ever! My last visit was for a live musical performance. The place was completely packed but the employees were exceptionally patient and kind. Would love to see this little place thrive in my hometown and will support it each time I return.

Great Location. Intuitive check out system. The menu Seemed misplaced. But They had a nice espresso machine was nice. My espresso was delicious. The layout and facility was very lovely. I bought a shirt because of the entire experience.

Great gathering place for either business or pleasure. Coffee is always good and the baristas are friendly and pleasant. Also provides a stage for music, bringing some good musicians to town without going to a bar. Has back room available that can be reserved for groups or quiet study. Profits also provide funding for a Tutoring program.

It doesn’t matter what time of day I’m nearby, I’ll get a coffee from Paper City. It’s always fresh and enjoyable with no additives (good and black is my preference). I live in Dayton but grew up around Chillicothe. It’s nice to know I can get a high quality cup of coffee when I visit.This is also a great complement to the bookstore next door!I’ve had a lunch sandwich several times and enjoyed every bite.Last but not least, if you know of the mentoring program and the good that is done here, you also know that you’re supporting a worthwhile establishment.

A well-needed upscale hangout space for the Chillicothe area, Paper City makes a mean cappuccino and matcha latté, provides a roving menu of drink and food specials (try the Death By Chocolate cortado while you can), and best of all, is seated in big-windowed, sunny rooms, nourished with pretty potted plants, a variety of seating options— lots of cushy and quirky sofas/chairs, or hardbacks if you’re into that— and often features some heart-lifting soul tracks on the overhead.I drive 40 minutes from home to read a book here, so good is the space to exist in. And for $7 the breakfast hash is hefted out in mighty portions. This place obviously cares about each and ever hallmark of quality a coffee-goer could require.

Great place for a good coffee. Went to high school with one of the founders of the shop. Very well run good service. I have been back plenty of times and always have had good service. Would definitely come back. If you like mochas I had probably one of the best mochas in my life here.

Best coffee in town by far. I have tried quite a few different selections and they all have impressed me. They also have a great selection of sandwiches and salads for a light quick lunch even when they are constantly busy.

Its going to be hard to review this coffee shop. My daughter was singing Christmas carols with her school class downtown. Afterwords we decided to walk around and saw Paper City and stopped in. We looked at the menu on the wall, and stood waiting to order . Another young hip couple came in and were immediately greeted, and their order taken. Three employees their continued to ignore us so we simply left. We walked down to Schlegels, the one employee there was fixing a order for another couple said hi to us promptly took our order. Too bad I could not try the coffee at Paper City.

I got a mocha latte and a bagel with avocado mayo ,ham an cheese and sprouts it was pretty good but I think i could do without avacodo mayo an sprouts.
