Wood Brothers a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end. From the estimate to completion of floor installation. Always on time, polite, very professional. The staff in store are delightful, you are met pretty much at the door with a smile and they go out of their way to help you find exactly what youre looking for. Installation was a breeze, they did a beautiful job and completely cleaned up after themselves. I was almost dreading updating our flooring as I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Everyone made everything very easy & we have beautiful floors. Thank everyone at Wood Brothers for everything. I will be back when its time to update the carpet. VERY PLEASED.Highly recommended.

Wood Brothers has the best customer service. As soon as I walked in the door, someone was there to greet me and my neighbor/friend. After asking what we needed help with, the Wood Brothers associate proceeded to show me and my neighbor many varieties of carpets they had in stock and special order. I was very impressed of the variety and service. Yesterday, I had my carpet installed and the installers were friendly and accommodating. We live in Paradise were red dirt is a problem. At my request, the installers wiped their feet (every time) they entered my home. We had an access door below the flooring and they did a great job getting the carpet to work with the door. Very best company to do your flooring. We bought a fixer house in Chico that needed complete renovation. We chose LVP and carpet (so plush) through out the house. Working with Taylor, Cole in estimating, planning, coordinating, choosing materials....so very knowledgeable and helpful. Dependable and friendly. The install crew: Paul and William were diligent and the workmanship is the best. A real pleasure working with Wood Bros. Highly recommended.

I have always had all my flooring and carpeting installed by Wood Brothers as they have great prices, quality product and wonderful installers. I have had 2 homes in Paradise and 1 home in Corning done by Wood Brothers and would not go anywhere else for my flooring needs.

This is a fantastic local store with a large variety of flooring choices. The staff is extremely helpful and know you by name while remembering your project when you return. Great selection, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Clean open show room where covid protocols were followed by all. Have been a returning customer as we update the house. All contractors are outstanding.

Before you have them do your floors make sure of the details. They came in put floors in and ruined both of my doors. Had to spend $6,000 on new ones. The floor made it a bit taller so they had to remove the bottom part of my doors so they ended up having a 1 1/2 inch gap under them and no seal.. They did not mention it at all and so we came home to the gap. Didn’t even try to help us fix it. Just left and said this is what we had to do.

Service was great. They dont nag u to buy. Let you go about and choose what you want. You pay and they loaded on your vehicle with smiles. Someone else comes out to double check its on nice and tight that its not going to fall off. Also with smiles...yea service was wonderful and we found a beautiful, perfect for my granddaughters room...and we got lucky it was 1/2 off so we only paid $125.00.

This is my first time leaving a negative review when it comes to stores in Chico. I have to say, I was pretty disheartened to be told my flooring would be on sale in 8 months from my first time in the store - fast forward to the second time in the store, AFTER WAITING patiently for 8 months, only to be told “nobody would ever say that because...”. WOW. I checked 3 times after originally being told about the sale to make sure I was hearing it right, had the correct date, and had the money saved up, only to be told “that never happens”. What a waste of time and looking forward to a lie. Next time I will get it in writing (a contract), as that’s what my parents always taught me to do. I am not leaving a negative review just because of that. I also got better pricing at Towne Carpet and Wood Brothers also has nowhere near the same level of customer service, urgency to help, or knowledge. 2 stars for a local business and quality of products compared to big box stores.

I have never posted a review before,but felt compelled to post about Wood brothers. I cant say enough about all aspects of my dealings with them . Their price was significantly lower than others for the same quality product. The installers were on time and did a beautiful job. We ran in to a problem with some unseen damage to my floor. They got it taken care of quickly and at a really fair price. Next I had a problem getting an old dishwasher removed which interfered with the installation. The company worked with me to get the job finished in a very timely manner. The floors are beautiful and my experience getting a job done that could have been really stressful was instead a great experience. I really recommend seeing Wood Brothers if you are looking for new flooring.

Best price for flooring

Update: the owner and another employee came out looked at what was wrong. They are going to come out again and fix everything for me.Very unhappy with their service at the store. I called and they do not call back when they say they will. I ask to have someone from the store come out and look at the items I have a problem with and nothing. Not even a phone call. I paid $18k and they cant even call me back when I have concerns. I cant close my disabled Dads bathroom door without having to pick up the door to slide it (never had problems before the flooring) and its the same thing with our laundry room door too. We have to take off my girls bathroom door and cut it because it wont close. Was told base boards were going to be put back as they were when taken off. That never happened. We have to silicone and paint the trim and walls next to base boards. If I knew it was going to be like this I should of stuck with Home Depot or Lowes! I thought Wood Brothers Flooring would have been better in service.

Decent prices on carpet, terrible installation.We bought carpet and lino from Wood Brothers Chico and had them install. First they brought the Lino which had been pre-cut, which wouldnt work for the room (shadows would be inconsistent) They realized the mistake and took it back. Called repeatedly with no return. Finally called simultaneously from four phones and got one to answer. Finally got the lino back and installed. Then the Carpet came, Contractor wasnt able to give a thorough inspection before the installers were gone.The transition strips are were 1 wide and a bright metal which clashed with the neutral tan/brown carpet and neutral slate lino. Which completely ruin the aesthetics, apparently a hidden or narrow transition was not an option. The ends of the transition pieces arent even nailed down, nearest nail is 5-6 in from the edge with one not even holding the carpet down, plus the scratched the door casing. Since a hidden transition apparently isnt an option) plus they put nails through the lino making it impossible to switch over to something that isnt horribly cheap looking without having a series of holes visible in the lino design.For the amount of money spent on floor coverings one wouldnt expect that seven feet of eyesore much less a shoddy installation.

They where amazing, gave me a great price for flooring, they where really helpful and even helped strap it down in my truck, will do business with this place again.

We were all set to floor our new home and quite possibly carpet.We were met with a lukewarm reception, but the real kicker the Butte Strong sticker in windowWe casually asked if any discounts are avail to Camp Fire citizens. It wasnt a deal breaker for us to nor have one, but the overall apathy of sales folks was a deal breaker. One excitedly exclaimed to us ( as we are all set to buy all new floor ), yeah ed gave out 50% off in first few months of fire to those who just got into homes or rebuild.As we stood there puzzled as to the time limits, she firmly said its no longer given out.Wood Bros clearly is not Butte Strong, to think homes purchases and building would only happen in the first 60 days of an event of this scale is absurd.The overall apathy to our inquiry in a simple price was pretty interesting, but to not see that 30 k residents were displaced and not all got into homes within 60 days was pretty disappointing.We didnt expect a discount, but were pretty blown away at a local business having little interest in customers.

Tried to get flooring put in for a rental..the estimator was late, forgot to bring samples and never received an estimate. I finally called the store to be told they were much later out on installation than was initially told. Will not consider Wood Brothers for jobs again.
