My brakes work beautifully after Chico Car Care replaced them along with the rotors. I appreciate them testing my battery and finding it weak. Was unsure what the noise was coming from my truck. Brought it in. They were able to diagnose after a test tide and description of the noose. I had also put off previous maintenance from my visit 1 year ago. I appreciate the work that was done for my truck. The customer service was amazing. They did a full inspection of my vehicle to make sure there were no further problems. I received help with my insurance claim, since it was all new to me. They took good care of me and I feel that I can trust them. I am a nursing student and needed my vehicle back in time to make it to clinicals. They made it a point to have it done in time and kept me updated along the way. Chico Car Care has been the best automotive experience Ive ever had! I think this is the first mechanic in Chico who hadnt taken advantage me for not knowing anything about cars. I went in with my check engine light on and they did a full diagnosis for my 02 Lexus es300. All it needed were hoses replaced and its working great! I also had to have 5 bulbs replaced in my car and now my tail lights look brand new. They even replaced the cracked plastic on my key for free! After the repairs, they told me that everything on my car looks great and I shouldnt have any major problems anytime soon. I asked them if I would be able to get my car back the same day and they provided that for me, even though that meant Dan had to stay after closing! They were honest with me and I greatly appreciated that. I highly recommend Chico Car Care.

Great service I have never used an auto repair shop, I have always done my own services. Your service writer Rex was very straight forward. So I went along with what he said needed to be done. He told me it would cost me because where the fuel injector was located, so I told him why he was in there to please change the spark plugs and wires. They had over 200k miles probably never been replace. I got the car back on friday. It runs awesome I would highly recommend CHICO CAR CARE. MERRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR.

06 tundra DC 4X4, had done the drums and came up with a spongy pedal, the guys diagnosed old brake fluid so they changed brake fluid, bled the system(purchased truck from KAREEM AUTO SALES IN SAC, CA). Guys also reset parking brake (which wouldnt adjust due to fluid having too much moisture in it because of its age). I Have other vehicle which Ill be sending their way soon for A.C. Every repair I’ve had done at Chico Car Care has been successful. The most recent one was a big job, and they handled it beautifully. I haven’t had any problems in all my time with them. My mother has also had them do big repair jobs on her vehicle and she has never had any problems either. These guys are excellent at what they do. If you use them to fix your car you are guaranteeing yourself that you won’t have to go spend more money elsewhere afterwards because they do the job right the first time! The customer service is also fantastic. Rex was so patient with me calling him numerous times with a ton of questions. Most auto mechanics simply fix the problem. These guys take the time to diagnose the problem. They have a friendly family vibe that makes you feel like they love your car as much as you do. They are honest, fair and reasonably priced, what more would you want from an auto mechanic? They also offer uber as a shuttle, way better than being placed in a van with a bunch of other customers needing a ride home!

I have been taking my 2013 Prius since having purchased it used from a major Toyota dealership. While service at the dealership is generally very good and thorough, dealers charge as high as can be charged. Chico Car Care does all the needed work to maintain my car to meet Toyota specs, and more. They have taken very good care of the vehicle, and advised me when something needs to be updated or changed, at a significantly better price than the dealer and better than some small shop competitors in town. As specialists in hybrid vehicles, they should be seeing my car for a long time.

I get the road trip specials here and I enjoy the cost and the security of having the essentials on my car looked after.

So the repair we had on our corolla was extensive because the spark plugs blew. We needed a new wire harness, re-threading of heads, spark plugs, new coils, and battery cables due to corrosion. Even though the repair took longer than anticipated, the guys didnt change the price of the job.But the crazy thing is that they did eventually change the price. THEY LOWERED IT by $27 bucks and we didnt even ask. Then when they found out that they forgot to re-attach the cover for the coils and spark plugs, they immediately came out and found the right nuts and screws to take care of it. No extra cost.I was a little scared because immediately after the repair, we were going to drive 300 miles. No problems. Made it safe in the rainstorm. Enough said already.

I make minimum wage--not complaining, Im a simple man--and I bring my 91 Ranger here because they do good thorough work. Ive taken my dad and dog to LA and back several times, plus commute every day; it runs great and passes smog easily. When I needed several things done at once they didnt double bill for labor that was already priced into the deepest thing. Plus, they give straight answers with zero attitude.
