Dined in with my cousin. Got bruschetta & pizza. We ordered sweet baby bbq pizza and I opted my sauce for Marinara. Customer service was really great & funny. Prices were a little high end. We walked out with a free complimentary dessert from one of their managers! So definitely a good vibe and a good place to grab a few bites to eat.

Really nice pizza and friendly staff. The outdoor seating is tucked away on side street so you dont feel like youre on north ave but you can still people watch. The chicken crosses the road is my favorite pizza

Not quite Neapolitan, not quite NY, a good mix between the two. Crispier crust with a light flavorful sauce and fresh mozz. The crust had some black rings, but not too bad. Overall a good pie. Friendly staff.

The gluten-free crust BBQ pizza, pesto pasta, beet salad with lemon vinaigrette & cannoli are favorites. Generous food portions. Cozy ambience. Its dog-friendly during patio season. Love this gem. A new favorite of mine for sure - we loved the Neapolitan pizzas and pitchers of sangria. Lots of fresh fruit in the drinks - YUM! Staff was very kind and friendly, food and drinks were delicious. The pizza took a bit longer but we enjoyed some apps while waiting. The Caesar salad but a great starter. Love the atmosphere here and definitely a neighborhood gem that you have to visit if in the area!We tried the Alice N Wonderland and Margherita pizzas which were both great - but my favorite had to be the calzone! It was a bit more cheesy and had a garlic flavor which I absolutely loved. I cannot wait to go back!

What a fantastic pizza. They really nailed a perfect balance of ingredients. The crust is a great thin lightly charred crust. The sausage was tender and paired great with some red onions. I’ll be coming back again and again. The Caesar salad was excellent too with large shavings of Parmesan and crispy romaine.

I am so impressed with the food and the energy of the staff at knead pizza. I have become so addicted to not only the pizza and the salads but almost the warm welcome I receive coming in every time. This truly a neighborhood place that you can go to enjoy a good time with friends and family gluten free options available.Plus, I have talked with the owner who has seemed to work around the clock to keep this moving and he has done a fabulous job considering its been a crazy year. I definitely can call knead my most favorite artisan pizza kitchen in Chicago to this day.Ill be sending everyone here especially now that its nice out and they have outside seating. I love KNEAD!

Awkward service that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. But they made up for it by providing us with the information we asked for (ingredients). Pizza is not all that great, especially the crust. But I think Ill return to give another pizza flavor a try.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Our pizza was hours late! When it finally did get here it was cold and still raw. We called multiple times for status updates and were consistently given misinformation. So many better options for pizza in Chicago. We will never order from Knead again.

The ambiance is welcoming, and makes you feel like you’re at home.He went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I were fully satisfied/ enjoyed the experience.I don’t write many reviews, but I just had too once I experienced this place.You are doing yourself a disservice by not coming to this great family owned local restaurant, and trying some true classic Italian pizza with a flare.

Pizza was fantastic. Really delicious margherita and the crust was some of the best I can recall having. Me and my wife both enjoyed over aperol spritz which hits the spot on a hot summer night. Good price, great service. Shouts out to grateful dead bear tattooed waitress :)

I went to Knead Great Pizza with a few friends for dinner on a weekday night and we all had a great time! We got sat immediately which was nice, and ordered a few appetizers to start out with. We liked the bruschetta! The margs were made with homemade purée and tasted awesome, we also tried the aperol spritzer but that was a bit smaller. Finally, we switched to a $45 sangria pitcher which lasted about 9 refills - definitely worth the price!Their pizzas were flavorful and well-priced. They took a little longer so definitely get an app to hold you over! Overall, we can’t wait to come back and love this place!P.s. their patio is huge!! Perfect for families or dogs

Update: moving to 1 star since the restaurant owner replied - I emailed them over a month ago regarding their response to this review and have not heard back. It does not seem like this location is willing to hold up their end of the deal to have a discussion regarding their customers experience.Food is okay. Service is extremely slow and the sauce tasted a bit odd. Additionally, we waited an hour to be seated when there was a free table for the hour we were waiting and by the time the reservation was filled, we had just been seated at the same time. Would probably not eat here again due to service and food inconsistency.

On paper, the menu looks delicious. In practice, pizzas were inedible. Sauce wasn’t particularly flavorful and the crust was soggy. I was told by management that this is because of the style of pizza and how it was cut… Regardless of that excuse, that doesn’t explain the bland and spongey texture of everything. I’m giving 2 stars because at least the salad was good.

Pizza is delicious, terrace seating is nice, and we go early enough we can bring our gremlins and stroller with us. Waitstaff kind to us and them. :)

Pizza is absolutely delicious. Try the Watch The Cows Kiss 😘. The Cannolis are so good. Great selection of craft beer. Pizza comes out super fast. The owner Mike will make sure you have a wonderful dining experience. A great addition to the Wicker Park neighborhood.

I had an unfortunate experience tonight at this restaurant. I had high hopes since I live in Wicker Park and am a pizza connoisseur. We asked to sit inside since it was a little chilly, but unfortunately only outside seating was available. It took 1 hour to receive our appetizer. At this point we voiced our concerns to a woman who appeared to be a manager. 30 minutes later we complained to another staff member after he offered a heated tent to another party despite our request to be inside. He stated he was not aware of our request and we should have known to ask for the tent. The pizza was tasty and the apps were mediocre. However, I would overall not recommend based on the variety of options we have in Chicago and the effort many other small business owners are making to ensure their customers feel appreciated :)Edited since a response was not an option: We were treated unprofessionally after stating that we were dissatisfied with a 1 hour wait outside in cold for our food. I have never or would never be rude to staff.

Tasty pizza with less pretense than some local competitors and a nice outdoor space.

I didn’t eat anything here because the menu didn’t have any low carb options. So I watched my boyfriend eat instead. He said the pizza was okay, it was burnt. wish they had broccoli or cauliflower crust.

This is my go-to pizza place in Wicker Park. Why? Because they have the most delicious, and possibly only, non-dairy fresh-made pizza you can find in Chicago. For those of you gluten free, they also offer that in a homemade special crust as well. I will buy one of their pizzas and eat it for dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner lol. Ask for the cheddar, coconut-based non-dairy cheese if youre lactose-intolerant like me, but love pizza. No it doesnt taste like coconut - it just tastes YUM! And their customer service is excellent, something that most places these days dont seem to care about. Mike, the owner, makes sure customers are happy!

With a glass of prosecco... perfect dessert!Update: their new mixed drinks are amazing!!! And their new pizzas are some more winning combinations! I cant wait to sit on the patio and enjoy mixed drinks this summer!

We were seeking out a new pizza place in the city, since we have tried them all. Started off okay then the longer we waited the more rude the staff became. We waited for an hour for an appetizer and were very surprised and sad to see how the rest of their staff reacted to our concerns for the rest of the meal. We will not be going back, ever again.

Pizza is delicious and the strawberry mango margaritas are so good! Great service, too. Will definitely come back!

Awww, what a great little spot! They have a really nice outdoor seating area with a big TV as well as heat lamps. Just had the cheesy garlic bread with sauce...delicious! Best of all the owner treated me to some of their incredible cannolis. WOW. Unique, light and chocolaty. What a special treat. Service was fast, and super duper friendly. Highly recommend!

Im going to hit the good points before diving in. Our server was flawless. The wine on tap tasted great and was not cold. Just slightly less than room temp. Now the bad. Let me start this by saying the pizza here is not necessarily bad. Its just not Neapolitan style pizza. The dough itself tastes good, texture is doughy like a Neapolitan should be. Flavor is there. The sauce is very good and lightly used which is ideal. It is just too thick to be labeled Neapolitan style. The garlic cheese bread has a bit of the same problem. You cant taste the garlic. Its there, but just not front and center. The other ingredients on the pizza did not seem super fresh including the mushroom and the shaved parmesan which is a shame because there is a ton of it. Would much rather have had half the ingredients and them taste fresh and not like they have been losing moisture in a fridge. Equally as sad were the obviously pulled from the freezer cannolis. Will look to try some of the simpler pizzas on the menu (pepperoni/margherita). Think there was too much stuff going on for the one we got.

Very very good pizza place. The pizzasbare unique, creative, and delicious. They have a small menu but everything on it sounds amazing. Super dog friendly on the patio. They also have a really great beer menu. We had the green zebra... veeeerrryy good.

The food was awesome! What really won me over was the customer service! This was our first time here but we will def be back. Although they are closed inside, they have an open patio with heaters! :)

Ive been a fan of Knead for a while but they really went above and beyond for a private party this weekend on their patio. They were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to celebrate while complying with city regulations and allowing everyone to feel safe. Not to mention the food and cocktails were fantastic! Thank you guys so much!

The environment was wonderful. I love the outdoor seating and the manger comes to checks in and ensure that everything is going well. Pizza is bake for an old fashion oven (which is rare nowadays). Pasta is absolutely AMAZING. kind of on the pricey side but totally worth it every time !!!!

We were looking for pizza on a patio and we were more than satisfied with Knead. This was our first time visiting and we will be back in the future. The pizza and cannolis were delicious. Also their sangria was excellent and felt like a large pour (served in pint glass).

We had our dinner from Knead today and it was great, we ordered pepperoni pizza, pasta and salad and it was great flavor also customer service is great! Highly recommended!!

I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was delicious. I asked about the cannolis and the owner gave me a few to sample and told me that they are made fresh every morning they did not disappoint at all. This place is definitely worth it for their pizza and cannolis. Will def try again

A new favorite place! Kneads pizza was fantastic, the outdoor patio (even in the cold during COVID) was so cute and warm, and their customer service was amazing! The manager saw I was watching a college football game on my phone and offered to put the game on the big screen. He even turned the game sound on and brought over blankets and a personal heater! This type of service is so hard to come by, especially during COVID. We will definitely be making this a regular spot!

Great neighborhood pizza place with delicious pizza and speedy service. My boyfriend and I order take out here a few times a month. When it’s nice out they have a patio area that usually has available seating as well. Definitely a great place to escape the usual lines in Wicker

This place is truly amazing! With both indoor and outdoor seating, its super clean... I mean you could eat off of the floor clean. The food was pretty good as well. Decent beer and wine selections... small, but sufficient. The pizza (12 thin crust style) is done quite well. A variety options with some hysterically obscure names. The service was outstanding!!! All in all... I would definitely recommend it. 4.5 stars!

The pizza at Knead is top notch! They do an amazing margarita pizza and I personally love the sausage pizza. The staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel very welcome. It is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The patio is a great addition for summertime!

Great pizza, they have traditional styles as well as more adventurous pizzas. The wine selection is decent and not too pricey. My wife and I enjoyed our experience and we will likely visit again.

This pizza is absolutely delicious. My wife and I have lived in this area for five years and there are lots of pizza places- but this might be my favorite. I like the signature pizzas I have tried - but honestly the regular pepperoni is hard to beat. Atmosphere indoor is cozy. Outdoor seating is nice also. I will keep coming back here after I’ve left this neighborhood.

First visit and the pizza is pretty solid. Had the Maui. All ingredients were good with right amount of cheese (for me). And red onions were sliced thin...I like this on pizza, rather than abstract chunks. Also had the spaghetti with past. Homemade noodles were good, but sauce a little too salty.

Had the best service tonight from Michael at Knead! We ordered from DoorDash, but the dasher missed bringing our salads along with our pizza. Shortly after delivery, I got a call from Michael who offered to bring the salads over to us. He also brought us some free cannolis for the trouble. I’ll be ordering directly from Knead now! Knead was the first pizza joint I stopped at in Chicago. It was delicious with brick oven fire wood pizzas, fresh salads, and baked breadsticks. The service was top notch, the waiters were all friendly and handled everything accordingly. Nestled right in Wicker Park, its a small establishment that is easy to pass because of its tiny nature and its house-like setting. The pizzas are all made in a Neapolitan style and the most popular is the personal size, its the perfect one to try as a taste test. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and felt welcomed. They offered water and gave me the menu fairly quickly, even going as far as to find good seating arrangements in the back. I got a small four cheese pizza with an ice tea. It was absolutely delicious and I was taken aback by how flavorful their sauce was. I recommend Knead to anyone visiting Chicago, its seriously a great hidden gem.

One of many neighborhood pizzerias and it’s one of the damn best! Craft cocktails by the manager, Anesti and all their food is made from is made from scratch. Try the Viva la Verde that was featured in a local Chicago food and beverage publication. You won’t be disappointed!

Great atmosphere but NOT CAREFUL with food allergies!Ordered gluten-free pizza for my mom that has Celiacs. My mom was SO SICK and I had to take her to the hospital. Turns out they served us a non gluten-free pizza. Manager was sympathetic but the damage was already done.Do NOT recommended to anyone with a food allergy!

Went the first week it was open, so Im sure they were still working out kinks, but there were a lot of kinks. Pizzas that take 2 minutes to cook shouldnt take 30 minutes to come to your table. It tasted... Fine. Theres some promise in the sauce and dough, but our pie was a bit undercooked. What they really need is someone who knows how to run a restaurant.
