Easy way to post and share shipping and moving boxes for re-use by local neighbors. Posting zip codes, and admins reminders to do so, really help narrow searches. Appreciate courteous responses and timely pick-ups of those collecting boxes from me. Helps keep boxes out of recycling/landfill. Recommend often to friends and neighbors.

We had the most phenomenal experience! These bins made our move soooooooo much easier and they are super affordable! Flexible terms (if you need longer time with the bin that’s fine) and the most incredible customer service! 10/10 would use again and recommend to anyone who is moving!

This service made my move much easier. The containers are sturdy, and easily transportable. Rental time periods are considerate and I really appreciated the flexibility to add a few extra days to the rentals. When we were finished the next customer picked up the bins from our house; I liked that we didnt have to worry about dropping them off. I hope to use this service again for my next move.

Honestly, we could not have had a better moving experience thanks to these bins. We were able to fit so much in the rented 20 bins that we moved a family of three by using these and 3 boxes. Three boxes. That felt like a real win.The reservation and pickup process was easy, the price was half of other bin companies, a quarter of what I would have spent on cardboard boxes, these heavy duty bins were a breeze to fill and move. When I moved and was in a rush to get boxes, someone on a group on Facebook recommended me box dibs, I am glad she did. It was easy to get them and packing was convenient.

Pretty simple system for the reusable boxes/ totes. They were very sturdy and the dolly was super helpful.

I love the idea of not throwing away boxes. The group is great. I would recommend to all!My only advice would be toa) include cross streets with zip code. Chicago is on a grid system and that would be helpful.b) have a main ISO post so that the feed doesnt get clogged.

Best idea for a community exchange group! I used to do this on my own before Brian made the box dibs group. Use, reuse and pass it on!!

I love Box Dibs! Our office moved in December of last year and instead of throwing the boxes out (the new building doesn’t recycle) I found box dibs and every box and all packing material was picked up (or I delivered). I’ve been using them ever since for a few boxes here and there.

A simple way for me to gradually give away boxes, as I unpack from a big move, without repeatedly filling up the recycle dumpster at my new condo.

This made it really easy to share and reuse boxes! I love that I can get free boxes and also help the environment.
