The lady checking us out was super friendly and sweet!! She used everyone’s names and even took time to chat with us about how we are visiting from Indiana! She chatted with me about paying for bags and she just overall was a great cashier! They had a great selection and good prices, too. We all enjoyed some Vodka Mule drinks in a can. I even got to buy limes!

Vas Liquors has been around like forever and has a great selection of beers, wines & liquors.

Vas Foremost might seem modest from the outside but it is packed full of an amazing selection at good prices. 9 times out of 10 they have exactly what I came in for and if not there are always lots of alternatives, and the staff is polite and efficient. Ive been shopping here for years, its a neighborhood staple!

They have sales frequently on all sorts of items. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lines can be long sometimes, but the store is efficient and you can be in and out quickly.

What an excellent selection! On top of that every person on staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were exactly where they should be. Highly recommend; especially if you are looking for unique liquor and rare beers.

I love this liquor store. Everyone from the employees who monitor the floor to the owner is very helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of whiskey and craft beers. I dont go anywhere else if I can avoid it.

You have a lot to choose from here. On the weekends they can tend to run out of certain beers/ciders, but it wont leave you wishing you had gone elsewhere. The staff is very helpful. They recommend favorites while youre browsing, run to the back to get you cold cases, and are quick and responsible. I always find something familiar that I like and have found great gifts and new favorites as well.

Pete is the Best! Been going here for 16 years. Back in the day, they had an AMAZING selection of old wine that was never marked up correctly. It was a gold mine. Then, the hipsters moved in and now the beer and cider selections are great. Prices are fair and I dont know another spot in the city where the manager remembers literally EVERY customers name!

Well I’ll agree that the staff are friendly, hence the one star. They aren’t my favorite to buy a sixer as they are several dollars more than other stores in the area. PRO TIP and the main reason for the 1 star: If you shop here absolutely do not park in their parking lot!!! I stopped here for a six pack, bought two, and put them in the car. I needed to grab my keys back from a friend who was at the end of the block and because I walked south out of the parking lot they booted my car. I was gone FOUR MINUTES and had just shopped in their store! My beer run ended up costing me an extra $170 bucks because I walked up the street. The parking guy refused to look at my receipt citing that it didn’t matter if I shopped there or not, you can’t leave the parking lot to go anywhere but their store. WHAT. A. JOKE. Never again.

Walked into here and picked up a sixer of revolution beer from the tiny microbrew section. Had some fun with the clerk about buying white boy beer. Very good selection at reasonable prices!

Favorite neighborhood liquor store. Great selection, they have a very good high-end selection of whiskey for the size., and most other products. Good mix of chilled beer too. Prices are a little more than the grocery store or Binnys, but its good to support a local business.

Best liquor store in Logan Square. Wide seasonal selection of craft beer (as well as some domestics year round). Many rows of red wine at all price points. Great liquor selection. They also have an amazing variety of bitters! Cider, Cold rose and whites as you walk in the door as well as some champagne. Few bars of chocolate at the register and cigarettes and smaller bottles located at the register, too. Great employees!!

For a local liquor store this place is top of the line.The same guy has owned it for forever and he knows his stuff.They will help you pick out whatever you need and have a very impressive selection in a smaller space.Their prices are good and the service is friendly.

Great selection of anything you could want. A whiskey wonderland, a beer bonanza and plenty of quality wines. Everything from high-end bottles to plastic bottle rot-gut. From rare Belgian triples to cheap can beers. Need mixers or ingredients for your favorite cocktail? They have plenty of that too, so no need to make an extra stop. Staff is very helpful and always ready to point you in the right direction if you need help. Definitely my favorite liquor store in the city.

Good local beer and liquor store. They have a very good selection of local beer. Not the hottest of local stuff, but a wide variety. If you are looking for goose, rev, half acre, etc, then they can definitely serve your needs.You must check dates on beer before buying, especially ipas. Some sit on the shelves for quite a while. Lots of them are not refrigerated even though they should be.They hold back all the rarest stuff for the regulars, which is good for regulars. They frequently bundle beers into verticals or multi packs and sell at somewhat inflated prices. Which is great if you can afford a small markup because here is place that will have the good stuff longer than other places.This fall they bundled their rare whiskey into 4-5 bottle packs and drew names for purchasing privilege at prices much closer to secondary market than MSRP. Im not judging them for it. Its a good idea and a different way to let you get what you want.

Nice corner liquor store that has been around in the same family for years. They have adapted to the changes in the neighborhood by increasing in the microbrew, specialty brews and liquors, while keeping the regular working Joe beers.

Decent selection, they are typically a couple bucks more on beer than other stores.

To be succinct, what you get here is overpriced, but convenient. On average youll pay $2 more per six pack then you would at say Target, or Walmart.
