Talk about small but nice selection and pricing. Im from New Orleans visiting family in Milwaukie but thanks to a local bourbon group member I had to get here for some drinks we dont get. Worth the drive indeed!

Had an excellent first experience at GNS. Heard it was a great spot for bourbon nerds and it really is. George was very hospitable and knowledgeable and picking out a couple bottles was a real pleasure. I wish all shops were like GNS. That said, I’ll be coming back regularly even though I live out in Oak Park.

This is an incredible grocery store! The staff seems to be coached or they screen their applicants very well. Super friendly. It’s always maintained with clean isles, lots of order, and it’s well organized

NOT CLEAN ENOUGH. Small store with many grocery items.I do not recommend eating ANY employee prepared foods.

The neighborhood grocer. You can find pretty much everything you need on a day to day basis here, from fruit to liquor, from canned soup to snacks. Hope they stay open during this cover-19 outbreak.

So easy to just look at this place and view it as a liquor/beer store but it honestly has much more. It has produce thats actually fresh and reasonably priced, deli meats and overall is a great place to stop when you need something quick. On occasion there would be something that feels marked up (ex: cereal felt over priced) but honestly, their prices for food and alcohol are comparable or better than Jewel. Love this and so happy to be able to support a local business.

Lived in almost next door for several years and this place is great. The staff is always very friendly and if they dont carry the beer/wine/liquor you like, they will often order it to have for you. They have a good selection of grocery items as well for a corner store. A blessing for the neighborhood.

This convenience store has a great selection of Wine and Spirits at great prices. They also have some convenient grocery items and fresh produce.

Handy little convenience store. Strikes a very good balance between high and low end items. Alcohol prices are only slightly more than a large super store like Binnys so if your in the neighborhood, the convenience far outweighs the cost and chances are, you will find something your looking for whether it is a cheap vodka or a cask strength Islay scotch.

Better than a corner store. They have some produce and also allow your dog which makes for an easy trip if you’re walking one.

Very nice little old-school ma and pa type corner store, very nice selection of beers, produce is surprisingly fresh, and they have enough other items to put together a meal. Open early, open late, open on holidays, a real neighbourhood gem.

George is a good guy. He has a nice selection of goods. If you ask, he will try to get it for you.

Very convenient and has just about everything you can think of. If youre looking for a fast in and out place where you can get everything from groceries to booze, this is a one stop shop.

Decent wine selection, adequate beer selection, and they do booze testings occasionally. Pick up some TP and dish soap if youre running low.
