Charmers is my favorite Cafe! They have great drinks, treats, and food. I love how they get involved in the community. Wonderful energy with the decor, staff, & guests.

A lovely hole in the wall with reasonable prices and friendly staff. Their indoor shop has a wide selection of funny options, and the outside dining area hosts a large selection of seating. I’ve also found my summer drink with the white chocolate iced latte.

I love Charmers Cafe! We got married a couple of blocks away and ordered lunch from Charmers for our family and friends while getting ready. They went above and beyond! Not only was the food delicious (and it was DELICIOUS)- but Carrie and Annie delivered it themselves, set it up beautifully, and were so kind and helpful throughout the process. Thank you thank you!! Highly recommend!

Great coffee and staff. Try their chimichurri sauce, so amazing! I absolutely love the plant theme and ease of curbside pickup / outside dining. They even have small heaters to warm you up.

I ordered the EGG N’ HAM sandwich which consisted of egg, ham, American cheese, on an english muffin, and from the very start didnt look right. The muffin wasnt toasted enough, the ham needed to be browned more and the entire sandwich looked to me like it was nothing more than an Egg McMuffin. Which I wouldnt eat if you paid me! At this time though I was hungry enough to try the Charmer sandwich and.. it didnt taste right. Later in the evening I didnt feel all that great and... even had a case of diarrhea showing me clearly it was that sandwich. I may visit once again but next time... Id only go so far as to order a cup of coffee and maybe a croissant. My girlfriend was there with me and I can only hope she doesnt become nauseated also.

I love the patio and the shade it offers. I love that its a good stretch of the legs to walk over, cause who cant use a little exercise. The service was great, enjoyed my ice coffee. I look forward to returning.

No inside seating but plenty seating outside. They will accommodate you if you have a laptop and need power however there are no outlets outside for those that want to work from the cafe. Very nice staff and if you love dogs, plenty of neighborhood pets passing by to pet 🐕

Lovely spot with great coffee, “charming” atmosphere and good food that’s prepared to order. The lox and bagel was very good and fresh. The swing seats in the window aren’t for me, but very fun. And, weather permitting, there’s great outdoor seating.

Window service and ate outside...friendly service and plenty of outside seating is located around the restaurant. Sugar free drink options and tasty sandwiches...reasonable prices and a great find in Rogers Park for a quick bite and beverage.

Me & my husband had our first date here back in 2016.He bought a mocha drink & I got a iced chai. We split a blueberry muffin. The date cost $10. I told him I only had two hours to spare&. We ended up sitting at the cafe until they closed & took a stroll near the lake front. Best date ever. This place was relaxing & perfect for comfort dating. We are now married with two boys. I can’t wait to revisit this place on our anniversary.

Folks love this place but Im not having good experiences. My most complicated order is a a bagel. Once i was charged $1.00 for 2 jellies. Not extra. Just 2 jellies. Today I just wanted a toasted bagel with butter. Got home and guess what. A dry bagel with NO BUTTER. Is it really this hard to provide the minimum? Evidently.

The food was super bad. Took two bowls (classic and south west) - the roasted potatoes were half done, eggs felt like left overs and the food overall lacked taste. My wife and I are quite surprised that this place got 4.6 stars.

I went this morning, and it was my third visit. Every time I come here, the people who work here are so so so nice. I usually just get coffee and a bagel, but their other menu items look great. Once they forgot to bring my bagel to me (I had a bigger order), and I let them know and they apologized a ton and rushed my bagel to me. The bagels are also my favorite. I want to try other things, but theyre so good. I highly recommend. Also, everyone working deserves a raise; they are seriously so nice.

I came for WiFi since my apartment is still being set up. I even called in advance to make sure WiFi was available. I purchased a drink and food and was never able to connect to WiFi. Very frustrating

The coffee is fine but all the reviews on the food must be out of date. Maybe when they 1st opened the food was ok? Every time I feel robbed of my $5 for this weak microwaved bread . They microwave everything you can taste it , even the bagels. Again the coffee is OKAY but nothing special.

Sandwich and matcha oatmilk latte--fab. Outdoor seating--essential. Only problem was not Charmers fault: cigarette smoke from bar next door was impossible to avoid.

Been going every weekend for the last 2 months to have breakfast with friends. The egg breakfast box is delicious. Make sure to ask for the chimichurri sauce. The oatmeal shake is a great sidekick to any meal. Say hello to Co owner, Carrie, super friendly and knowledgeable about various topics. I always learn something new from her.

The coffee was great. The donut was pretty good. The actual cafe is a really neat spot. Some of the indoor seats are swings suspended from the ceiling. There is outdoor seating, too.

Such a great little spot thats truly unique to Rogers Park. The owners (Carrie and Annie) really know how to create a welcoming vibe, even in the face of COVID. Whether its a gift or just a snack, its absolutely worthwhile to visit. And you dont even need to trek out to Andersonville or Evanston!

This cafe is a gem. The staff are patient and kind, the coffee is strong and you can get tons of delicious treats (including catering from Bennisons, yum!). During this year theyve shifted to a walk up window for orders and have kept the hand sanitizer flowing! They also have a strong integrated into the community vibe, with continuously updating flyers for local events over by the mix-in cart (alt. pasted in the windows this year)

The staff are amazing and kind. I support baristas. Great coffee! However, for the owners to charge close to $3.00 for a cup of Tazo Chai when the box is $3.49 at Jewel is a mark up. I can see paying that for a Speacialty Tea brand like Rishi. Do Better new owners! Been a Charmers fan since its first iteration, I now know to buy my teas from a different coffee shop. And they dont sell plain Earl Grey. Not everybody likes Earl Grey with Lavendar!

Coffee was delicious and they brought out little fire tables so we could sit safely outside of their shop and still be warm.

Just had ice cream, but service was friendly and fast. Im sure the coffee is great and they apparently have cinnamon buns on the weekend. Jarvis square is a solid little location for food and drink.

I’ve had espresso all over Chicago...and they seriously have the best. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it well.

I was extremely impressed by the chocolate chip cookie!! It was soft and chewy. It looked like it would be crunchy and dry but it wasnt! It was worth every penny and I would do it again.

I live in the neighborhood and i love coming here. the atmosphere is great, and theres always plenty of seating (with power strips at every table!!!!). that being said, if youre going to get coffee here, its probably a good idea to stick to drip coffee because i dont think ive ever had a properly-made espresso drink here.....but the fact that no employee here seems to be able to pull an espresso shot is pretty much the only downside

Visiting our daughter from Alabama and found Charmers Cafe wondering around the neighborhood. Awesome coffee! Fantastic croissants and service.... friendly service and great atmosphere. This is what Starbucks wants to be.

Charmers is a cozy, relaxed space to eat breakfast or enjoy a tasty beverage! I love their outside seating and the little swing seats that look out on to Greenview. Its got a very mellow atmosphere that is good for low-key coffee dates and hardcore work sessions alike.The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. Plus they make great food! I highly recommend both the breakfast sandwiches or a milkshake with espresso in it.

I love the owner of this artists cafe. She has her heart and soul into this special place. The best artisan coffee , hands down. The fresh juice, is really fresh. Something draws me to this wonderful cafe more Nd more. Its pesceful, homey, relaxing, and simply the best. My family and I, go there several times a week.

I dont drink coffee. Good coffee by my friends standards. Good neighborhood coffeehouse. Its right up the street from my place so when I have guest or company 5hey love to go there. They say its good coffee.

Nice little coffee shop. You can come and study or just enjoy some of the items on there menu. There are many shows that they put on such as open mics, poetry, etc on certain days. There is a little gallery in the back where they hold exhibits for various local artists each month. Anything from photography to paintings.

Irresistible and infinitely satisfying espresso drinks. Friendly and calm staff set the stage for a great coffee house feel. The place makes me want to read The New Yorker. Heart, tasty breakfast sandwiches.

Charmers has a great location with outdoor seating. Their soups seem to be made in house and are excellent. Their coffee however, is no good. The employees either, dont know how to make coffee or dont care and give out incorrect drinks.

I buy coffee here every week, wonderful people and wonderful coffee. Coffee is from Metropolis roasters and the charmers blend is probably my favorite. The baked goods are also pretty good if you need a quick pick me up.

Lucky to have this artsy gem right down the street from me. Cute and clever ambiance, with a sweet Thoreau garden outside. Great coffee and the bagels and lockes are really well done. They rotate art from local artists on display, so its always interesting.

The location is convenient, but maybe they can up the number of scoops of the ice cream an extra one. One day I was sitting outside for a while just relaxing, this lady that works there came out and asked me of I wanted anything, I said no thank you and she told me that I have to buy something if I want to sit outside on the chairs. Yet Ive been there before and used the laptop for 2 hours inside and didnt buy anything, no one told me anything.

Great place to have a relaxing coffee

Staff was friendly and kind, latte and almond croissant were both excellent. Seating was comfortable enough and atmosphere felt inclusive, hope to go there again soon.

Absolutely horrible customer service. My wife waited for her bagel and when she went and asked they just looked at her. After making it instead of apologizing and bringing it to her they sat it on the counter. When I asked her about customer service she acted as if it wasn’t her problem.
