I felt bad with the employee at here. I bought 3 pots 4 days ago. They charged me twice, he gave me the reason payment it was not go through. Then I checked my statement that they charged me twice. When I went back and told the guy at the counter, he was kind like look at me and think it was ridiculously. I thought he should say apologize to the customer instead of giggle even they buy a little money (in their mind). $5 for someone that can buy something to eat! Some people they rich but they do not want to pay even any $0.25.

Good people and good products this is my go to spot for now on also gave me a few discounts which was amazing great people and very helpful.

He was very honest and did not have the sales person persona some people give off. He was like I could take your money, yet for what you are doing I recommend this. This may sound like a plug, but its truly just the opinion of a very satisfied customer. Ive been purchasing grow equipment/nutrients from Chicago Roots for about 2 years now and its by far the best shop in the Chicagoland area. Tommy and Scott are SUPER knowledgeable in regards to both hydro and soil growing. Their selections of both equipment and nutrients are so expansive that its literally a one stop shop for anything you could ever need. Also, their prices are ridiculously competitive to the point where theyve beaten Amazon on every purchase Ive made there. Ive been to a number of other grow shops in the area and Chicago Roots is second to none by a landslide. If youre just starting or a seasoned grower, stop in to Chicago Roots, you will not be disappointed.

Thus place is great. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and that itself keeps me coming back. The owner Mike is always there and makes a personal effort to make sure you are provided with exactly what you need. I couldnt recommend them more.

I had a great experience with Scott at Chicago Roots today. Im new to hydroponics and really love it. However, I have no clue what Im doing. Scott was really helpful in answering my questions and making the process really accessible. These guys are extremely helpful and friendly. I didnt have tools and these guys took the time out to help me build a drip setup for my tomato plants. Price line is pretty average but they will throw some sweet deals in there.

Only visited once and I was extremely impressed with the staff, the brotha I spoke to was an encyclopedia of knowledge about hydroponics and aeroponics, when I’m ready for my new green business this will be my first stop!

This place is legit. Ive been to other shops and people have had attitudes and egos. Coming to roots i didnt get any of that, on the contrary, I believe tommy and Marius take the time to point you in the right direction. I have had price matches before and Tommy even gave me a better deal.

Everything here is used and restocked! I purchased a fan that wouldnt work turn back on when timer did and Marious charged me a restock fee even though manufacturer says it works with timer! This place is a real dump overpriced used junk. I go to the other grow shop its 10x more professional, clean and better prices. They are so unprofessional I walked in on Marious and his coworker taking hits off a volcano bag like a couple of feens.
