Moving to Chicago I was looking for those stores that made me feel welcome, find some new house decorations and gifts. When I went to Himboldt House, I found that and more! They are welcoming & incredibly careful around COVID ensuring a safe experience. They have curated the best products and I always enjoy stopping in to see the new finds.

One of the stores you can spend hours in without realizing it! Everything is aesthetically pleasing and there are plenty of goods that support local artists. Great for gifts -- both for yourself or for a friend :-) Staff is incredible, too.

Great shop. The perfect spot to pick up a gift or treat yourself. The selection is really well curated and reasonably priced. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of kitchen, bath and home items, jewelry and art. Definitely a go-to for thoughtful gifts.

Hip, boho modern aesthetic; always bright and sunny inside making it one of my favorite shops to visit year-round; offers an eclectic, elegant, and trendy array of highly curated, handmade items for the home (i.e.: ceramics, candles, incense, etc.), self-care (soaps), personal reflection (stones, sage bundles...) and adornment (jewelry, hair stuff, etc.); everything is organized and displayed beautifully; good place to find thoughtful, uniquely-made treasures; prices are reasonably higher since you are supporting local women artisans, crafters, etc; they always have friendly, sweet staff who are knowledgeable about the artisans who they work with and fun to chat with; oh, and bonus points for the couch + coffee table set-up in the middle to sit for a sec! 😉👍

An oasis in Humboldt park. Freshly curated modern furniture and home decor with eclectic style. Also an awesome selection of antique Turkish rugs. And the staff is very sweet and fun. Well worth a visit.
