Pretty regular customer since it’s around the corner but have had nothing but good experiences. Have solid xmas trees and are insanely helpful if you just ask. They have everything you need and if they don’t they’ll direct to a place that will. Love this Ace

For an inner-city hardware store they have a good selection, and the staff is always very helpful.

Favorite hardware store. It has a lot of stuff, they make keys and also sell everything you could ever need. A little like a junk drawer puked.... super helpful guys work here that can help fix anything!

You walk in the door and its a bunch of tools!(bad joke)I really like these neighborhood hardware stores, they’ll help you when you need it, very friendly. Dogs allowed! If you have an energetic one, I’d leave him outside, otherwise you’ll be picking up nuts and bolts for hours (tight isles).

Worst place ever to buy hardware. The guy talking to me was rude and unhelpful. Too much attitude. I hope he is not the owner of this place as he is just driving business away. Might as well go to home depot. If I could leave ZERO star I would.

It’s not your typical big box hardware store—in a good way! I’m not particularly skilled but enjoy a good diy project & the staff are super helpful if you need it or have questions, and also leave you alone if you’re fine on your own which is appreciated by me .

Ive walked into this location 3 times now and never once have I felt welcome. They always seemed to be inconvenienced by my presence. I tried to give them a chance, thought it might have been a bad day. But they got 3 chances. The Uptown location has much better service and is better organized.

You can find anything and everything in there. The staff were nice and helpful

Not the friendliest employees. Asked where an item was located and was told ....down 3 aisles,turn right its hanging on the wall. I eventually found it but it would have been nice if someone SHOWED me where it was. There were enough employees standing around doing nothing. The store was very dark and uninviting.

Based on my experience they are friendly to people who visit often. Usually workers that need products on a weekly basis from them. But in the handful of times Ive visited. They are rude. Be prepared to get a snotty response if you have a question.

I get keys made there frequently and never had an issue until I guess there is a new girl working there who had to be watched over by another manager. I came up to the desk very friendly and happily said Hello and she looked at me like I was the devil trying to make a deal with her. I explained what I needed and she tried get me to come back another time-to get keys made! - I told her what I was going to do and she said okay with a shrug to her shoulder and I told her to have a good day and she rolled her eyes at me, in front of the other manager! The younger generation is so rotten and mind you Im only in my 30s. If you dont like your job then find another one or munch off of mom and dad for a while longer.

I live really close so I’ve probably been here about ten times. Selection of items is okay but staff is horrible every time. They always seem bothered if you ask them a question. It’s like they don’t want anyone in the store. I tend to avoid this location if I can.

The Lake View Ace is a little compact, but Ive never had a problem finding what I need with a little help from the staff. If you need a new set of keys, paint mixed or every day home repair items, theyll have what you need.
