This was first time visiting and I loved it. From the moment I walked in the staff made me feel welcomed. Everyone was so friendly. Dr Shah was great. She explained everything that she was going to do and even addressed my concerns about how some of my meds were affecting my eyes. Bre assisted myself and my daughter in picking out glasses. When I tell you I had no idea what I was looking for. Bte was very patient and helped us narrow down our options. She even explained which styles would look best on us and why. The office itself was very clean and you could see everyone taking covid precautions. My daughters glasses were ready the next day. This place is amazing

I was anxious going into my annual eye exam because of recent vision changes, and steeling myself for the usually tense process of choosing new glasses that live on your face for hours a day and years at a time. Dr. Shah, Matt, and Fernando were exceptional in their knowledge, skill, and friendly professionalism, and my visit was a total pleasure. Dr. Shah was clear and straightforward as she spoke about my exams and my options. Matt knew his glasses (a great selection), was gifted at choosing frames fit for my features and personality, and had a warm and confidence-inspiring manner. Fernando, while often busy with other customers, gave helpful and sensitive input when asked. I can honestly say I had fun where I anticipated anxiety. This was my first appointment with West Loop Eye Care, and I will be a returning customer. I highly recommend it.

Had walked by this location for years and decided to finally try it out. Super easy to book an appointment through their online portal, the eye test was a piece of cake and their inventory of unique/designer glasses is unmatched. Id highly recommend asking for Matt, as he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of to the highest regard. He even pulled some strings to get a pair of hand made Thierry Lasrys shipped to Chicago in record time, when other eye shops around the city had 3 month lead times! This is a one stop shop for any eyewear aficionado in the West Loop or surrounding areas. My kiddo loves them too!

Very thorough and pleasant. No pressure to buy anything you don’t want to. Found a great pair of sunglasses to wear on the motorcycle they were not polarized, but they had them done for me in no time and the price was reasonable.

Everyone here was so nice. It was easy to book an appointment online and I was able to come in right away. The exam was more thorough than I’ve ever had, she even showed me pictures of my eye and explained what everything meant. They helped me pick out frames and everything was cleaned and sanitary. I had my first annual eye exam and contact lens fitting for annual daily lenses at West Loop Eye Care today and I had a fabulous experience! The staff including Matt, Cole, and Fernando greeted me with a completely paperless check in experience, and cleaned and tightened my glasses upon arrival. Dr. Namrata Shah was friendly, efficient, informational, and answered all of my questions. My annual daily lenses were in stock and I brought them home same day without having to wait for the mailed supply. The office is modern and bright and even has designer sunglasses to try on :) I highly recommend West Loop Eyecare after my first experience at the office!

Top notch doctors, My daughter had convergence insufficiency that was picked up on a routine eye exam. We were able to get her help with vision therapy and prevent issues with reading in school. From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Matt greeted me with enthusiasm and was the most pleasant person to start my appointment with. Dr. Kamenetsky explained everything perfectly for my first time at the eye doctor in more than a decade. I finished my appointment with Fernando who showed sat me down first to explain how my insurance worked and what it covered. He broke down the cost of the visit, frames and lenses BEFORE he even showed me frames. I loved how he showed me multiple pair in several price ranges which was helpful and not pushy at all!!! I was told the frames would be ready within a week and got an email already this evening that they are ready (same day!) 10/10 recommend.

My spouse had found West Loop Eye Care to book an exam appointment and possible eyewear. When it was time to pickup the beautiful selection, I tagged along, only to find the most perfect eyewear for me! The entire staff is awesome and I couldn’t be happier with my new Thierry Lasry specs!! (Pandemic protocol very much in place.)

I scheduled an appointment during covid- 19 and I filled out all my paperwork before coming in for my appointment, so I was seen right away when I came in. The staff were very friendly, I had my temperature checked at the door and hands sanitized before entering. I brought my own mask, but they had some available on the counter as well. The eye exam/contact fitting was fast and easy. Dr. Shah was very kind, a great listener and informative. Afterwards, I was able to choose a pair of eyeglasses and purchased contacts that worked best for me. The staff was great at helping me choose and they were not pushy at all. They have a price range of glasses from $100 and upward. Overall a very nice place, very clean (they sanitized everything before and after), staff was friendly, quick service, and I felt comfortable the entire time. I would definitely recommend West Loop Eye Care if you’re in need of a new eye doctor!

Courteous staff, friendly, and professional. They measure your temperature and enforce mask wearing for everyone, which was comforting during the whole COVID situation. I visited them for a specialty contact lens, Kerasoft. Ive never worn contacts before, and if youre familiar with specialty contacts youd know how heavy they are and difficult to adjust to compared to ordinary ones. They gave me a weeks worth of disposable lenses to practice on first, and gave me a decent tutorial on how to use them. They took my vision measurents multiple times, on different occasions, with and without the lenses. Very patient and courteous. I highly recommend them.

Not much more I can say about this place that all the positive reviews havent already said, but the folks here love what they do and are very good at it. I had a 2:20pm eye exam and my glasses were ready before 5pm. Pretty sure that defies the laws of physics. Matt and Fernando are great.

Matt invited me to a trunk show they were having the next day—which is where I found the glasses of my dreams! I was having trouble adjusting to my first pair of progressives, so they happily adjusted the lenses for me.Not to mention: when my son injured his eye with a toy and I called the office in a panic, Matt quickly arranged for him to be seen by the eye doctor at the other location on Morgan (Dr. Margaret, who was just wonderful -- highly recommend for any kiddo patients!) They are truly nice people who care. Thank you!

Dr. Faye is the best! For pretty much my entire life, I have had troubles with my vision. I started wearing glasses/contacts at 16 and 10 years after, I was still did not have clear vision. Dr. Faye was able to point out with a very thorough examination over a span of two days (and after hours of research she did on my condition) the exact cause of my discomfort. She has been absolutely amazing with all my follow up care as well.Matt and Cynthia at the office are also AWESOME! Matt is so comforting and helped me make the right decision with my prescription related purchases.For anyone who has been having vision troubles, LOOK NO FURTHER!The folks at West loop Eye care actually care about their patients well being. I transferred over from Target Opticals to West Loop Eye care a few months ago and I couldnt have been happier!
