A few years ago the buffalo exchange was a great option to sale your clothes and to get great stuff at a reasonable price .But last week I was very disappointed when a pair of flip flops was about 12 dollar , the pair was in bad shape and very dirty.Also the staff used to be nice but there was one guy that was very rude , he didnt even ask if I could move for a second.I hope they can solve all this issues and be great again.

Came in for the first time and found a couple things, got home and realized they left the alarm sensors on every item i bought. i live over an hour away and so don’t want to drive there to have them take them off but the only other solution they gave me was to use youtube videos to try and take them off with lighters or “a really strong magnet?” (even though the sensors have warnings on them saying that forcefully removing them will result in permanent ink and glass coming out??) make sure you check your stuff for sensors before you leave if you don’t want to make another trip back or have to remove them yourself. also clearly the sensors do nothing because no alarms went off when i left so what’s the point.

6.3.2019 This shop is worth your time. From shoes to shirts to jewelry, they have something youre interested in at a great price.Im on vac, I need a sweatshirt of any kind. I stop by The North Face store to see the cheapest they have is $84. I then swing by B.E. and buy a gently used North Face sweatshirt for $32.Staff was friendly. Store was clean. Check em out!

Whatever, I wish I could give a zero star experience. I sold a pair of vintage Chanel sunglasses to this location. They offered me way lower than what they’re worth but I accepted the offer because they were just sitting unused and I could use the money. And when they sold, they FORGOT to call me and inform me that they had sold. Hire more competent workers. 😒

Went to sell clothes I brought in 50 items most of them being name brand and very unique. They picked my 3 dollar dds shirt and a 10 dollar pants suit from shien and left all my name brand stuff. Idk who is in charge of buys for the store but they clearly have no idea what they are doing. They basically gave me what I paid for my clothes. I guess this is a good place if you want to buy some discovery clothing wear it, and get what you paid for it lol. but total waste of time bagging all of these clothes. Need to go somewhere else that knows brands and quality...

My favorite part is that they had actually had the sizes separated, and I being a plus size lady was supper excited about this! It’s a small store but there are a lotta good finds here. Great selection at great prices.Also, the employees were so sweet and helpful too. I can’t wait to return back to this location!

I use to really like this place. Id go there to shop and sometimes to sell. I used to be able to sell stuff for a fair price. Now from what Ive seen they hardly buy anything. The amount they pay is way too low. Id rather donate. Ive found some cool stuff there previously, but it seems to have gone down hill. The store is packed, but with junk. I dont understand why the buyers buy what they do. Ive seen them turn down great stuff. Its hard to shop, and there is nothing good to find. At this point, Im probably done.

Unless you are I a hurry to get rid of excess, I recommend selling your items independently online. It’s a lot of hassle for a very low pay out.

I send my bag with clothes as they said “good brands” and after 3 weeks waiting they just respond “ we donated your clothes for charity”.And if I want my clothes back I need to pay 14 dollars for delivery.Really disappointed

I brought a brand new $100 dollar Tommy Hilfiger jacket over the summer and they tried to give me $15 dollars for it simply because it wasnt in season. Ridiculous, dont come here to sell clothes specially if they are good brands!

Horrible place

Staff is extremely rude. I’ve never really had a wonderful experience in terms of customer service but I always put it off because I found decent stuff usually. For me, this situation was the last straw. I will no longer sell/shop at this store anymore.

My past few experiences here have not been great. As someone trying to sell clothes, I sold about $30 worth of clothes to them, and I receive store credit for it. They gave me a gift card and the receipt to use later on. So, I went back to go buy something with that gift card and receipt, and they had claimed it was empty… it feels like just another scam. They also seem to care very little about this problem, even given that I had my full receipt. Doesn’t seem like a “problem” to me ...Also the fact that they give store credit for a much higher margin then cash back confirms that things are kind of weird. In general selling clothes takes a really long time at Buffalo.They pay very very little for clothes, and I think everything in the store is overpriced. I’ve also heard stories from friends about really awful seller experiences.

2 stars ONLY because their customer service was good both when I called and when greeted at the store. The girl who checked out my clothes made friendly small talk however she puts my stuff back and says “thanks for letting us see it, we aren’t buying” no reason given. Sent me off very quickly.

It has been a great learning experience because if you have any piece of clothing that is more than two years old they wont take it. it doesnt matter if it has never been worn and it is nice quality. Like with everything else people are not looking for quality anymore, just cheap. They dont say anything about it on the website, but really dont bother unless you have stuff that is one year old.

PURCHASE ONLY: Service excellent. Knowledgeable staff. Variety of sizes (unlike past experiences at two other locations). Variety of just-arrived and sale items, therefore a wide range of prices.Comfortable seating in front. Very big dressing rooms. Comfortable place to try shoes. Great hours, especially when an outfit is needed in a pinch.Best of the three Buffalo Exchanges Ive visited.

Fun place to pop into every month or so. they seem to almost have a completely new inventory every time I come. the prices are a little high but the overall quality and fit of the clothing pieces makes it worth it.

There goes two hours of my life I’ll never get back. Don’t waste your time. They won’t even take a brand new pair of Levi’s that still has the tags on it. The least they could do is be up front about it on their website.

I’m sure it’s fine for shopping but don’t waste your time trying to sell there. They lowball you like crazy trust me you’d rather donate your clothes than sell something they should be buying for $30 for $6.50. And then turn around and sell it for $50. Just donate it, you’ll feel better about yourself.

The Buffalo Exchange is a cool place for used clothing. They have a lot of fashionable stuff, and also have a good sell/trade in program. Be prepared to wait for a half hour in line, as I have done several times, but they pay decent money for a lot of stuff. They wont take everything you bring, but I as a 21 year old male have gotten money for my old hoodie, leather jacket, and shoes.

Love love love this place it is a bit small but manageable great atmosphere but I feel they should give you a bit more money for your items but hey at least they giving you cash you may have needed at the time...but to a fashionista like myself this is heaven for me.

Got barely any store credit for a bunch of barely used stuff - one even still had the tag on it. Plus, its too expensive for a thrift store. If I had to buy a an $18 blouse, Id just go buy it from a fast fashion outlet.

Way friendly staff and the atmosphere is much more welcoming and cute than the Crossroads down the street. They seem to be a little more open about what clothes they will buy and their selection seemed more fun and varied. I liked their little cabinet of kitsch as well. Will be back.

After finding this place on Google after just moving to Chicago went in to sell 3 pairs of jeans. Was first told to take a seat (I didnt see any chairs anywhere) & hold on a second. Then the female said are you selling and I said yes and told the first male employee to take a look. After examining them for a brief period said to me well let you hold on to these. Confused I asked what that meant as in Ill hold on to them until the female is done w the person in front of me or we arent interested in buying your jeans. The female said we will pass. Very unfriendly environment for my first visit. Wont be back.If you dont want to buy something maybe give a reason instead of just well let you hold on to them. Theyre already mine... And obvi I dont want them.

I don’t understand how they choose what to take. I brought in FIVE bags of clothing and out of all that, they took three things. They don’t take half of what you give them. Sure, it’s okay for buying, but don’t waste your time having them look through all your stuff only to tell you “we’ll let you hold onto these.” (These being 98%of my stuff). Never going here again.

This is a fun little used clothing store with some decent finds if you look carefully. Im familiar with the concept, having visited the Buffalo Exchange in Philadelphia many times during my time there. The racks are chock full of interesting and quality pieces for everyones wardrobe. The prices are often fair, if a bit high at times. They also buy clothing to sell in the store, though I cant speak to this aspect of the business as I have never attempted to sell them anything.

At first I was hesitant coming in the door, it was over crowded with barely any space to walk. Im glad I stayed because this store feels like a treasure hunt. They have something for everyone. I found a great looking button up from penguin, and a pair of boots that are usually 250 dollars for only 60. This store is a must go. Just know that they have used clothes.

Buffalo Exchange takes some patience, but only because they never have a shortage of items in every size. Youll be able to find some really unique pieces here, but you sometimes need the patience to look through each rack slowly since they can be crammed full of clothing. Overall, its a nice place to go and find used clothing.

Lots of good used clothing options. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have some fun used knick-knacks too, hats, belts, jewelry, etc. I definitely recommend!

You could being in an entire bag of vlothing you just bought, tags on, and they wont take any of it. Love the thought and was excited to pass on some of my clothing, but unfortunately the experience fell short. Lesson learned, will go right to donation from now on.

So this place is right next door to a Crossroads trading. It takes all your cheapie things, remember that they may not take your branded things, better to take those over to Crossroads.That being said, they have really cute things, and I went there to get some stuff for Halloween. Ive sold things there as well, and they give you a small markup if you choose store credit over cash. I think they mark down about 30% of the item you are selling, to ensure that it covers the cost of being in the store. But hey, cash is cash right?I would say go here if you wanna get some cheapie things for holidays and costumes. I would go to Crossroads for branded clothes etc, and there are a number of vintage stores in the area for bags and shoes. I come here mostly to sell stuff.

I love Buffalo but this location is so small and hard to shop in. The employees were really rude and seemed annoyed when I asked to have an item placed on hold.

For the amount of unimpressive garbage ive found in there when browsing - they are unbeliveabley picky about what they buy. And its not just this store - its all buffalo ex stores. Ive had clothing with tags, in trend designer pieces and even a pair of worn twice fenty creepers turned down to buy. I suspect they save money and mainly just sell donated items. Like other reviewer have said - dont bother. Just donate to a better cause.

Great place to buy cheap clothes that are brand names. i like this place a lot and red mango is across the street ... so go get yogurt and make a day of it. plus the prices are really decent for waht you get. i go here almost weekly! they always get new stuff

Their was just too many ppl here, when I visited, and they have so much stuff crammed in theirs no space to even breathe. Their are so many better options all around, not worth the pain of shopping here, and the prices werent even that great.

The black lady that was there today was being really Bougie when she was checking the clothes we was trying to sell. Nobody is gonna feel comfortable if you have people who work there that stare at you weird. Overall the store is nice and the clothing selection is awesome. I just wouldnt interact with the ppl who work there.

Great place to spot a deal or hunt down that dress you missed out on buying at Urban last summer. Bring your old togs here and trade them in for someone elses old togs. Protip: they stock Halloween costumes here, so you can get your slutty whatever here for half the price of the costume store. They also give you a coupon on your birthday.

Lazy and poor customer service. Two seconds after I ran my card for my purchase, I found a gift card I had to there and they wouldn’t void the transaction or apply it to the item I had just purchased. After ten years of retail, I know that that can be done...they just didn’t want to do it.

Could they possibly pack more clothes in this place? It is impossible to get around the store on a busy day. Racks on racks on racks, feels like I’m competing in America Ninja Warrior just to get to my girlfriend on the other side of the store. On top of that, everything is way overpriced. Gave them a chance several times but I won’t go back.
