This is a one of the worst customer service I had ever experienced. They tried to charge me more after they took my phone and the guy was so rude.

Very unprofessional and rude to customers. Try to scam to people all the time by charging more than what they said ( they will said a price first, and try to say another price later when you try to get phone) . So rude and swear at to customers.

Used their service as a recommendation of a friend and was hoping they will do well. I got my phone and immediately I saw some workmanship issues with the gluing of the seams that would pose a problem as the phone gets used. Brought up the issue on the spot and the owner started telling me not to worry about it. Low and behold a couple of months later the phone started being unresponsive because of that same issue and called them to see if they can help me out. They immediately told me that they will charge me full price for the screen replacement even though they have not looked at the condition yet. They wanted $40 just to look at it. Once I was fed up with their runarounds, I went across the street west of their location and found a great cell phone repair business. At the new spot, they guaranteed that they will not charge me if they cannot fix it. They looked at it for a day, got it fixed and the seams were correctly fixed. They told me that the problem was the shoddy work at Dr. Cell in gluing the new screen as suspected.I will NEVER go back to Dr. Cell. Most of the area repair shops are so much better and a lot more reliable. Just stay away from this business

Best place to repair phones 100% best prices.

Screen replaced with different color screen, but the actual lame part was that when my cell fell, the screen shattered easily. Didn’t last a month. I went back but no replacement or discount to repeat the job.

I changed the screen of my cellphone in there. We had a discussion relating to price difference they gave me on the phone and in store. Whatever, eventually they fixed the cell phone and I didn’t want to give negative feedback about them. However, after a week or so I noticed my front camera quality has dropped to very low level. I had been using this cell phone for more than a year. I have hundreds of selfies and definitely there is a change with the front camera. I don’t want to claim anything without proof. But I hated this place. DONOT GO THERE.

THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! Overall experience... A+I called in several places to fix the LCD of my Note2, and they all gave me extremely high quotes with NO guarantee on fixing and returning same day. Dr. Cell was the last call, and when I asked if it could be done same day, the guy said it was no problem, with the best rate for the repair! They called my place when the phone was done, got there and it was still being worked on. There were no problems either way, because it was an early evening.. Do not trust these scumbags.They are the same people at Dr Cell on 2354 W Devon and Delta Mobile on Ashland and Lawrence.They sold me a slightly used Galaxy S4 that was described as being fresh out of the box but no charging cable or manuals would be included with it. Since it seemed fine and new enough to me at the moment I bought it.A few weeks later the screen suddenly stopped responding to touch controls. So I took it back in to see if they could fix it or if I could get a partial refund but instead of helping me they kept insisting that I must have damaged the phone somehow or must be scamming them because the screen on the phone had just been repaired. Thats when I found out what a bunch of scam artists they were. The person who sold me the phone never had described it as repaired, he said it was practically fresh out of the box.So in the end I just ended up making most of my money back by selling it on eBay. But do not trust these people. Theyre nothing but scum.

Dr Cell literally brought my sons iPhone back from the dead!!! His phone was ran over by a car, completely destroyed!!....So I thought! We took it to Dr Cell and the next day we got the call, it was revived! Like brand new!! Saved us a ton of money will definitely be back!!

I dont get how a cell phone store doesnt have cell phones and does have a giant empty show case right in front of the counter. Something isnt right here. This is also my Access point for UPS deliveries if they miss me at home. Door was locked one morning when I went to pick up a package at opening time. I called an hour later and suggested that maybe they could walk it the block and a half to me. Well, no, that wasnt happening. The guy started yelling about how they lost the key to the front door and there was only one and thats why they opened late. Maybe I asked too much, but what business has ONLY ONE front door key? There are a few brief closings during the day when you will not be able to access the store. Not listed on the sign with their hours.

The pricing provided when I called was different than when I arrived in person. The staff was courteous and pleasant nonetheless.

Short Story: Theyre awesome. Take your Macbooks here, not the Apple store.Long Story: My laptop started to run really loudly all of a sudden. I took it to the Apple repair at Micro Center. He pushed some buttons and said the motherboard was down and Id have to pay $550 to repair. He said its common and happens to Macbooks when theyre old. My laptop is a Macbook Air from 2014. I called up some repair shops to see if it could be fixed for cheaper. I ONLY chose Dr.Cell because whoever answered the phone was reassuring, offered a free consultation, and spoke very kindly compared to other places. (customer service matters!) Turns out it was a broken fan. He replaced it for $40. Now its working just fine and saved me from wasting $1000 at Apple for another laptop.Thanks Dr.Cell Team

Terrible customer service. Gave a iphone 6 for a repair was going to call within next 24 hrs to let me know if the touch screen issue can be fixed and the cost of it. For next one week no calls from them. Eventually went to the store the phone was repaired was charged $60. Asked why they did not call before repairing it and letting me know. The guy just walked away to charge my credit card. Worse service. Would not recommend this place

Walked in didnt see salesman saw a guy on a couch yell towards the backroom of the store out came dumbass. I guess it is the way you approach them that determines the reciprocal respect you are going to get. The number one thing is they know what they are doing, and they do it well. They have 30 days warrantee on sales, which they keep to. However, it seems they never have time to call you back when they promise they will.

I dropped off my cellphone at Dr. Cell on Devon and Western for repair. And when I received my cellphone it was in worse condition than what I started with. I called to bring it back and they said I broke the cellphone. What type of company that argues with the customers. Now I have to go to another cellphone repair shop and loose more money. The customers service here gets a rating of F- , in my book. These people are evil and they need to learn customer service skills. Never, never, never, ever bring your cellphone or computer to Dr. Cell on Devon.

Stay away from this guys. Went in to get my phone repaired, one of my buttons was not working. They solder it to the board. An hour later the same button was not working again. Will try to get my money back, will update the review later. Week later no money or phone call from them. Stay away from them, they will fix your wallet not your cell phone.

I came in to get my iphone 5s screen fixed. It was cracked very badly, so I needed it to be fixed as soon as possible. Juan fixed the screen perfectly but damaged the frame of the phone. There is a huge indentation on the side as well as obvious signs of tampering/struggle with the metal. It looked so bad, that I asked to speak with the owner bc Juan tried to tell me that this is normal and everybody who gets their Iphones fixed there experiences this.Obviously, I was not satisfied with this response or the service, so I complained to the owner who attempted to appease me by asking what they could do to make the situation better. After going back and forth for over 15 minutes, we agreed on a discounted price for the service, but he tried to be petty and tack on an extra $7. He also offered to give me a screen protector for free when the new shipment came in the next week. I was okay with the service until I got home and realized that the damage that Juan caused, damaged the external speaker on my phone. I could hear people when they were on speaker but they could not hear me.I called the phone number listed for Dr. Cell Inc and asked to speak with the Owner again. Juan did not want me to speak with the owner and tried to fix the issue himself. I asked for the owner over 6 times before he became angry and swore that he did not cause the damage. Juan said you only paid $70.00 and you are acting like you paid $100 or you went to Apple. At one point, he even used profanity while speaking to me, a customer.The amount of money that you pay when you go to a professional establishment should not have anything to do with the final product! Also, my speaker was working perfectly fine before I visited this establishment! I am not happy with this service or the professionalism of the staff. The worker nor the looks of the business are up to par. Save your money and go somewhere more credible because the discounted price is not worth the additional damage and headache that will come after doing business with these people.
