Walked in at 11:05 am to purchase two different sneakers - the manager told me he had them but he did not have enough staff members to let me purchase them. Told me it might be later today or tomorrow. -- Came back at 2:00 pm and was told Id have to come back and try again later. I understand every store has their own policy, I just wish the communication was more clear from the jump...especially when I am speaking with a manager.

The selection here did not include any Nikes in size 14, so it was really hard to shop for my guy. They had a good selection of shoes; they just didnt have a good selection of sizes.

I give low stars because I shop here and I can never call and ask a question in advance before I waste driving all the way to the store they be having 4 to 6 employees at a time I understand it can be busy but I’ll come up there and there barely customers and they won’t answer the phone or the busy signal is going dang near from open to close where is the customer service for that 😞😞

Went to the grand opening of the Champs Sports Arena store on South Michigan Avenue back in July of 2017.The store is 2 floors of sports attire and shoe heaven.The really cool thing was that for the first 3 days of opening, the Champs Sports Foundation had a mentorship and curatorial program in support of the little black pearl Art and Design Gallery High School.Student at the high school designed and created the art and media content inside of the Arena at Champs Sports. They worked with Chicago artist Brandon Breaux to create Chicago Inspire t-shirts and a portion of the sales went to the high school.They have a huge assortment of sports apparel as well as shoes for almost all sports. I was disappointed because I could not find a leather pair of tennis shoes that I was looking for. The prices are high as there are many celebrity endorsed products so be sure to bring your wallet.

Store was supposed to open today at 11am. It’s currently 12:08pm and a group of customers has been waiting outside for over an hour. No signs posted. Phones off. Great service. Not.

I was greeted upon entering and what I wanted wasnt in stock but the employee informed me when it will be available.

Store closed? No confirmation or signs stating the fact. 20 people waiting and had to hear iy from a footlocker employee down the street. 1800 flex number act like they dont what a raffle is. 3hrs on phone and no information. I want my shoe. Will change if i get shoe or a decent reason

Only reason Im giving them five stars is because whatever we go in there for they always have it prices dont need to come into the picture with this because youre going to pay the same price for gym shoes wherever you go if youre trying to stay up to date.. their customer service is always 100%

Very helpful and friendly staff who express an interest in fashion. Helen helped us decide on which Nike shoes we wanted and even guided us on how to take care of them. After purchasing inserts to keep the leather from creasing, she even put them in. The selection seemed to be bigger here than at House if Hope and we would come back here instead.

The Champs on State Street in Chicago placed an order for me in store because they did not have the size I needed. Paid for the shoe using my debit card. Got an email the next day from Champs saying they cant fill the order and to visit the location I paid at for a refund or call the 800 number. Went in with my receipt and the email and the manager would not refund me. I have called the 800 number daily, been on hold more than 40 minutes and no one comes on the line. Reached back out to the store manager he said he would look into it and call me back, he still has not. Emailed corporate, got an automated response saying someone would get back to me that was several days ago and still nothing. I am very unhappy because the email clearly states I can visit any Champs location for a refund and to visit the location the order was placed at and not be helped is unacceptable. They were all very polite in the store but polite does not get me my money back!

The manager refused to give me a refund for a product I bought online, I had proof of purchase and also my receipt. Terrible customer service, would not recommend.

I dont always leave reviews to the stores I visit but the manager here at this Champs is one of the best employees at any store Ive visited. He was very kind to everyone that came in the store and provided amazing customer service.Ive shopped at lots of stores in the city and I can say without a doubt that the Champs on state street was one of the best experiences Ive had shopping. They provide amazing customer service and its because they have managers who are respectful and great people overall.The employees here are very helpful and I plan to shop here again soon. Keep doing a great job.

Was escorted up the stairs by sales associate Jhori L. Whom told me that she like to greet her customers with a handshake and smile! That blew me away! Went in this store in search of a pair of Nike gym shoes. I found the perfect gym shoes and asked to try them on as I stood up I noticed that the employee who had gotten my shoes continued to stand over me as I tried on the shoes. I asked if she had to stand over me while I tried on the shoes. She replied Yes I do. It was uncomfortable to be hovered over while shopping. It was as if they thought I would steal the shoes. I ended up going to another store and purchasing the same shoes. No one should be treated the way I was treated today.

Nice staff. Very pricey. They have a very wide selection of shoes and apparel. Lots of sitting room if you are waiting for a shopper. Very cool videoboards throughout the store. I did not go upstairs so im not sure what was up there.

Went in yesterday to purchase some Vapormax and a Lakers shirt. After I grabbed a shirt I was browsing the store and an employee asked for me to hand the shirt over to him and that he would hold it for me. This left me really upset so I decided to just buy the shirt and leave. Ended up buying the near 200 dollar shoes at Footlocker instead.
