With the wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff you can exactly what youre looking for at a reasonable price.If you have a son close to bar mitzvah age (12) the sofer at this location does a wonderful presentation that shouldnt be missed.

Although they are always busy, (good for them!), The people at the front have been very courteous and have answered any question that I have had. The store is stocked with Judaica of all kinds. We have purchased specialty Havdalah candles as gifts to family, and always restock on the basics. Its a mom-and-pop kind of place. We love it.

I am always amazed by the personal experience i have shopping at Kesher Stam

The staff was unfriendly and stared at me like I had five heads when I entered the store. Unlike the other customers, I was not greeted, nor was I wished a good shabbos. I realize that a Black person in a Judaica store may be a rare sight, but I have never felt so ostracized and unwelcome. I will never be back.

So Im Jewish but not very observant I work on Shabbos and dont keep my head covered most times, unless Im in shul.Im also conservative politically and agree with most of President Trumps policies. Im also a ball buster.I have afamily Bat Mitzvah to attend in July and I thought it would be a nice touch to wear a special kepah for the occasion. It should be noted here that my family are liberal democrats for the most partI went to Kesher Stam to order a מאגאCrimson red Kipah with the following letters embroidered on it מאגא... which translate roughly into MAGA or Make America Great Again.By the way the new rapid transit system in Jerusalem is being named teh Donald J Trump Rapid Transt SystemANNNYWAY ..... The guys over at Keshar Stam spent at least 30 minutes trying to find the exact size and fabric and color to make my kipah. I actually ordered two, one for a friend and the whole shebang was less than $30 yet they made certain to make every detail just right.I havent seen the product yet, because its being made in New York. But I bet it will be just what I wantGood Shabbos everyone and KAG! Keep America Great in 2020

This is the only local Jewish bookstore now that Rosenblooms moved to Skokie. The staff is very knowledgeable in Jewish media, including books, Mezuzot, and religious garments, like Tallit and Tefillin. They are also very capable of testing the scrolls within Tefillin and Mezuzot. Also, if they do not have the size Mezuzah scroll needed they will happily send you down the street to Rabbi Wolf, who has a great selection of odd sized Mezuzah scrolls.
