Very professional and competent. They treated our household goods with care and wrapped all the furniture very well. All the staff I spoke to were very nice and they really did everything possible to help our move go smoothly.

We had a very bad experience with Johnson Moving and Storage. We worked with them through a corporate relocation, and so did not have any say in who we worked with. The day before we were set to be packed and loaded, the Johnson Moving office called us and said “You have everything packed, right?” We told them no, we were scheduled to be packed and loaded. They then proceeded to act as if they had no idea that was the case and that the relocation company had dropped the ball. They sent two men the next day - one of them a temp worker who was very nice, but had never done packing before. It was very clear the job wasn’t going to get done on time, and since I was set to fly out with my daughter the next day, I ended up packing half the house while also taking care of her (she is almost two years old). During that time, I glanced at their clipboard and saw a printed out email on it. It was an email of Johnson Moving accepting the job that explicitly stated packing AND loading. It was sent two weeks before. So, they definitely knew, and messed up, and tried to put the blame on someone else.My husband and I packed the rest of the house that night and he had to take a last-minute day off work to be there on the second, unscheduled day, as I was flying out that day.I spoke with the operations manager, Mark (or Marc, I’m unsure of the spelling), and he came out with a larger team the next day. We thought things had been resolved, until the trailer was opened in Llano. Basically no furniture pads or blankets had been used, and furniture and lamps had been tossed in with little regard for our belongings. I’ll post photos, which should speak for themselves. The unloading crew was shocked and had to call me into the trailer repeatedly to show me damaged furniture and poor packing.I must give credit where it is due - our kitchen and breakables were packed very carefully. None of those were broken. It’s frustrating that our furniture wasn’t handled with similar care - especially since it is so much more difficult to replace/repair.We are filing a claim with the relocation company, so hopefully some of this will be remedied, but I very strongly recommend that you choose another company when moving in or out of Cheyenne

Johnson was used (almost) twice by me. On the move-in the team damaged my table beyond repair due to total incompetence on the reassembly team (washers and nuts were attached in the wrong order and dug deeply into the wood). Fast forward to the move out - I complete a virtual pre move survey, and Johnson accepts it in-lieu of an in person survey (per their request, not mine and the survey was a video walkthrough of the house uploaded). On packing day number one, two packers arrive and immediately start talking to each other about needing more people to complete this job. They unload their gear/supplies, I ask them if they want food they say yes, so I order $50 in pizza. Literally 5 minutes after the pizza arrives and an hour after arriving they tell me they aren’t going to pack because the basement is too cluttered (the same basement that is videoed in the pre move virtual survey). I was advised to reschedule at the earliest opening (2 months out). If I am ever offered to have Johnson or any affiliated movers come assist me it will be a hard pass based on this last experience.

The packers had animosity toward each other from the get go. Unprofessional.

The previous post was removed by me, the original sender. The company immediately took action on my complaint and contacted my neighbor and made things right. A BIG THANK YOU to Johnson Moving and Storage for your quick response, that in itself is proof that your company is serious about great customer service. If the need ever arises for me to use a moving service, your company will be the first one I contact!! Again, THANK YOU!Sincerely,Robert AndersonCheyenne, Wyoming

Johnson Moving and Storage was responsible for packing and storing our storage shipment for the three years we were overseas. When we arrived back stateside and had our shipment released for delivery we had problems. Their driver who could drive across state lines had quit so another van line had to be contracted to move it. When our driver showed up at the warehouse in Cheyenne our wooden crate was warped and furniture legs could be seen. Johnson Moving and Stotage admitted they forgot to move it into a building and that it had sat outside for an unknown length of time. When it got to us the packing paper and boxes were covered in mold and wet! Our headboard, mattress pad, and jewelry hutch were ruined from the mold ( we returned these to their warehouse, waiting to see what comes from this). They also broke a mirror and glass shelf from my china hutch and the back has just about fallen off. Everything else was salvageable because I threw a fit and insisted that it be packed in the plastic totes I had provided before they put anything in cardboard or paper wrapping. So glad I did or everything we owned would have been ruined! I will Never use them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone! Horrible experience!

Forgot to pack several items, including an entire linen closet. Boxes not labeled correctly. Furniture not wrapped. Boxes just stuffed with items like picture frames left unwrapped and tossed into stuffed boxes. Specific instructions given for certain items were completely disregarded. We’ve used several moving companies and this one is the worst.

Recently moved across the country. Johnson moving was hired and paid to pack and move our things. They were a day late in moving our things causing our entire travel, moving, and work plans to have to change. Then, when our things arrived at the destination, none of the furniture was wrapped or padded in any way. A large amount of our belongings were haphazardly thrown into a pile into the moving truck. The majority of our furniture is either broken or damaged. This is my 30th cross country move and I have never had this much damage to so many of my belongings. Would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

The Johnson moving crew arrived. They were polite. They were professional. They were courteous. They handled our stuff with care. This was our first experience with professional moving. Thank you to Curtis and his crew as well as the telephone staff and dispatchers.

Their driver ran into our apartment building with the truck. Didnt want to call the police for a report until I insisted. Then refused to help find someone to secure the building. Manager said, We dont do that, send us an estimate.
