Went looking for a pistol and ended up getting a political rant. Seriously, I could get that anywhere these days. Bought some ammo and went to the pawn shop next door and purchased a used Bersa TPR9C for a good price. Gave RMGT 2 stars because it is a clean shop with a decent ammo selection. Just didnt like the Q vibe.

These folks have had an amazing selection of firearms and a decent stock of ammunition through recent times. Been able to find much of what I needed and have had some great deals. Highly recommended.

Extremely rude staff. I’ve been here 6 times and they have never said hello and actually CONFRONTED me for buying ammo because I apparently walked in at the same time as someone else buying ammo and that meant we were together and abusing limits. This business treats every customer with suspicion and they clearly do not care to retain customers. I will NEVER go back. Way friendlier people at Sportsmans, JAX and Frontier arms.

I have visited the store 5 times now, and have only been greeted once. The time that I was greeted is the only time that I was actually helped right away. The other times, I was left standing at the counter, my body language showing that I clearly wanted to look at a gun. One young man was chatting with some other customers that apparently go to gun stores to hold everything and not buy, and the rest of the staff was munching on burgers, ignoring the chance to make money. The staff members are basically rude to you if you dont know your gun terms or facts, which is odd to me, considering many people used to visit gun shops to learn more about weapons. Not this shop though; no, this one is special, too good for the common man to stop at. They wont be missed.

I have been going here for a while. Yesterday I saw a entitled child complain about not being able to get ammo. I feel these guys are doing their best to help customers in the current climate. Best shop in town, good prices. Go in and chat with these guys, don’t go in acting like a know it all.

Never had a good experience in this store. They had what I wanted but they were REALLY scetchy. Not to mention that they were incredibly uninformed with their own products and with people they recommend to you. The immediate attitude and Im better than you act really put me off as well.

We were not greeted or acknowledged in any way. They totally ignored us for ten minutes and we finally left and went to a different store. Will not be returning.

Some of the staff are great (usually the younger people). Some of the older ones are clipped and rude to the point that I wont go in there anymore. Apparently theyre making enough money so customer service and courtesy isnt necissary?

I have never had anything but good experiences here. They have a great selection, competitive prices, offer military discounts, and despite some of the negative reviews Ive seen, the staff are great folks.

Went in to buy a handgun. Poor selection and abrasive staff. Have some knowledge but lack experience. Ended up buying a weapon but only could get one box of necessary ammunition.went in next day and was told remaining stock put out at different times to prevent same people from buying it. Asked if I could buy one box and come back for it. Told no exceptions....my husband just had surgery and I do not have nor do I want to spend my time circling gun shops in area looking for ammunition which as a customer purchasing a new handgun I should have been able to get. If I didnt have to endure the ridiculous process of paying outrageousrestocking fee Id return and get something someplace else. My husband is for that plan and scrapping the fee. Ill keep my one box of ammunition though. No case for my weapon either. Reading other reviews and will never go back nor recommend this place to others. Hey staff get a better procedure for your ammunition sales.

They dont know how to answer their phones. And tend to ignore you when youre in the building

The place was great, had great deals for the current situation.Edit: This store since I posted my first review of five stars has gone so downhill. They have increased their prices almost double of which you would find anywhere else in cheyenne. People need to know that this shop is not about helping the community, its about gouging our pockets and stealing our money. I hate to see businesses like this but they will never receive my business ever again. Just me not going here wont effect their business, but if the community realizes what is going on here I hope that this company realizes that there are consequences for their actions.

The times I have been in there the customer service was very bad and employee number 14 is ,to put it mildly, rude. Not at all customer oriented and acts as if you are bothering him when you want to spend your money in their establishment. The staff members I have dealt with never thank you for your patronage even when you spend hundreds of dollars in the store. Never going back. There are other places that I can spend my money. Don’t even want to give them a one star but have to so I could post my review.

I was referred here by another shop in Fort Collins. I worked with Mike, and he was beyond helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He was very respectful in how he spoke, not condescending (which is sometimes what I anticipate). My background check was done in less than 10 minutes, and I left with a new AR and ammo. This place also offers a military discount, which is super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Ive purchased a few firearms and ammo here, and the owner/manager really makes me hesitant to return. Never seen someone like this go off on customers for asking questions. Avoid if at all possible... They clearly dont want more business.

Honestly I do NOT even want to give this store 1 star. I never write reviews but this is the worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my life. The older gentleman behind the counter embarrassed us infront of other customer in the store just because we are women in a gun store and treated us like we were children. He made the assumption we had no knowledge regarding the firearms. He was so pretentious and rude. I will not support this store.

Do not disagree with these people....they will stare you down in an almost threatening manner. The store seemed busy so maybe they were stressed. No excuse for poor customer service in my opinion. Asked for information on an old gun, he said, “the wood has been refinished” then told me it was worth the lowest value in the book. I won’t be doing any business here, and I’ll recommend the same to anyone who asks. They were polite as I left though, so that deserves a second star.

I purchased a pistol here last week, and was extremely happy with the entire experience. The prices were great and the two gentlemen helping me went above and beyond what Im used to. I will be returning to this store anytime I need anything shooting related. Thank you for all the help.

Took in a first time gun buyer expecting to get welcomed with great local customer service. Instead we recieved a very rude know it all clerk that seemed to want to make the inexperienced hopeful new gun owner feel dumb for not holding the same amount of experience. Its really too bad Cheyenne lost its last good local gun store when Guns N Gear sold out. Sportsmans it is I guess.

I went to this establishment with the intention of purchasing a rifle. My family consists of law enforcement and retired military members, so guns are not new to me. I waited for quite some time before I was greeted. I was talked down to when I asked for assistance, in a sense of how I would speak to my children about firearm safety.Fortunately, I’m NOT fresh out of my mother’s womb & actually know a thing or two. So I called another local arms dealer here in town that assisted in finding me the exact rifle & scope I had hoped for, at a MUCH lesser price to boot!!!I suppose I will give them one star, as it was a warm building in which I was able stand inside as I called a much more competent arms dealer.

Walked in ready to spend some money locally. Asked a couple questions with less than mediocre responses most deffinetly not answers. Then was in the middle of asking about some rounds. When another salesman came over and interrupted me mid sentence, asking about something else for another customer. Peace and haigrease!!! Ill spend my money elsewhere you jack wagons!

Rude....if you are a senior, they will talk down to you, they did my husband. Wont go back. Was even approached outside the door by a person from out of state to buy my gun I had taken in to trade, but they didnt want it bad enough to even offer me a decent price. This place gave me the CREEPS, wont go back. I suggest you dont either.

Polite, but incompetent. Called to get a shipping quote. Said the cost would be actual shipping. I specifically asked about the transfer fee. Was told there was none since I wasnt receiving the firearm. Got to the store and was told it was $25 to transfer plus shipping. Because they had already checked it in, I would have to complete the paperwork to get it back. I just agreed to ship and pay. Ultimately they charged me half of the transfer fee. Apparently they dont communicate with each other or get poor training. During the firearm transfer, despite giving them a copy of the receiver FFL and their business card, they sent it to a completely different business. WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT to get corrected. When the firearm arrived there was a magazine missing from the case. I have a picture of the firearm on their counter with all three mags. Of course when I called they say, Oh well, we shipped everything you gave us. Must have been on the other end. Of course it was.....These people are NOT COMPETENT!!

Friendly staff. These guys arent pushy, very hardworking. The deals are pretty good and they have a lot in stock. If you havent been, try these guys out.

Worst place to do a FFl transfer. 1st off they sent the firearm to the wrong address, and 2nd they lost one of the magazines for the firearm. I recommend that people stay away from this joke of a place.

Ugly woman there has no idea how to respect a customer!!! Not only that how can you not give an honorably discharged war vet a discount, BUT someone who is currently active in the military that possibly never will go over seas and in fact might just be JUST a paper pusher with a valid military ID will receive a discount!!! Now this to me is a big Spit in my face!!! Meaning Oh you already served our country and risked your life in battle and served your term honorably, but dont have a valid ID? NOPE NOT SORRY you dont get a discount!! And not to say that I didnt have my ID because I did, it was just expired. So if anybody is in their right mind dont go there !!! And if you want to good deal call up A-Pawn in Grand Junction Colorado they only mark up their Guns $10 above cost and will ship it to you anywhere.
