I don’t know her name, but she works at Starbucks and her mom (I guess) runs the deli. They are the only reason you have—for now, at least—retained my business. I came in for Cheap Chicken Monday. Your closer called in and forced a closure. The deli gal that told me all this (different person) was very terse about it. I’m not the only person who was asking about your closure. The daughter called her mom and she offered me a free 8-piece chicken next Monday, 9/20. Prior to today, my grievances included no Kraft Thick and Creamy Mac n Cheese for several months and no longer carrying Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Big Packs (photo included). About a month ago during your re-opening one of the managers that was there was going to try and get them back. I have not seen them. I live a mile from the store and have been coming here for 4 years. I don’t want to have to drive across town to one of the Albertsons for my chicken.

Went in 5 minutes before they closed. The manager Robert Brooks was awesome and help me get the stuff I needed in a hurry. New exactly where the item was and in 7 minutes we got like 35 items. Great customer service skills and deserves a raise. Thanks alot for your help Robert.

The restrooms were dirty. It was not busy at 5:45 pm on a Friday. The cashier was helpful and pleasant. She made sure I received my discount on a sale item even though I had downloaded the Safeway app coupon.

I have always shopped here since I was little with my mom. The renovation is looking good but the quality of the produce is very poor. I cut into a green bellpeper and found it rotting with bugs inside. Tomatoes are on the stand rotted already. I cant get past it so I dont purchase veggies or fruit there anymore.Attempted to respond back to them as directed. The questions bubble did not provided anything on topic nor do I see why I was responded with this. Sounds automated. No help and waste of time doing .

We as customers should not have to scan and bag a full cart of groceries. They only had one live cashier. I understand that they are short staffed but I feel the manager should have got on a register. I will not be shopping in store,will order online from now on. It will also help my grocery bill since I wont impulse buy.

I dont usually shop here but no one else in town could make a cookie birthday cake. So I went to this bakery and was not disappointed. Lady named Rhonda in the bakery gave such great customer service. You can tell she really loves her job and cares about people. Safeway management, if you are reading this, please let Rhonda know she is appreciated!

The store as a whole is great, just avoid at all costs the pharmacy. The young pharmacist has no customer skills told me when i figure it out come back when the mistake was made on his end.. I am done with this

Worst store in Cheyenne I used to love safeway but the people they have working there are jokes they are lazy and instead of doing their jobs they say the arent allowed to do whatever it is youre trying to do. I shop at sadewat all the time in Colorado and never have any problems ih what si ever but in Cheyenne I do and instead of them doing there jobs they play the we cant do that here card. They are slow as ever and rude. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN

Safeway-Albertsons coupon system really needs to improve. Too many hoops to jump through to achieve savings. Kroger much better and faster.

Too long of lines during busiest hours of the day. When your 2 or 3 open lines to checkout are backed up all the way to the food isles there is a issue. The people waiting to checkout have to move for the customers trying to shop...problem!

Quality of customer service has dwindled over the past year or two!

I love Safeway its less than a few minutes from my house

A good store however there isnt much selection or very good deals as far as savings goes. Staff is very kind and willing to help when needed. Was impressed with how well stocked they were on merchandise for the items they do sell. Every customer is offered a Safeway club card free of charge and that will offer savings. Its a store I choose on a weekly basis however I wouldnt recommend it if you have a big shopping list more like a stop to make if you need a few things while on the go.

As a customer I really dislike how they consistently close down the seafood section at 5:45 (before dinner time even), and shut down the doors right next to the self check out area so you have to walk across the store or parking lot..Also, among those many things that frustrate me enough to want to no longer shop at this location, I also fail to understand why they feel the need to not keep all of the self check out lanes open.. there’s a reason why I can never just be in and out, and ALWAYS have to wait in a line just to do self check out..These issues stem from poor management, and have caused me so much frustration that I’d rather shop at King Soopers where I can get better deals and a much larger selection. Plus they don’t shut down their seafood section until like 10pm… much better service and options. Don’t go to this location unless you’re prepared to wait for forever in lines at any time of day, early or late.

They have really cleaned up this location. About a year and a half ago, you walked in and got plastered with the smell of rotting meat and rotting milk. Now, its much more pleasant. I will always go here for my florist needs, its always full of beautiful selections and impressive values. Thanks Safeway! 😁👍

Not liking the store remodel! Hate figuring out the new layout and memorizing it again and the app isnt even helpful now for setting up a shopping list again because of the changes.

I get condoms there all the time I don’t use them but I like to feel like I need them lol. If you get the medium then there loose enough for you to use them by yourself;) I buy a box every week I like to feel them and that weird slippery stuff inside. 10/10

Dirty and dingy but its old and so is Cheyenne. Its not a terrible place. They just need to invest in some flooring to help brighten the place up a bit.

Its frustrating to frequently find they are out of digital deal items. Its time consuming to get a rain check and honestly just a pain.

I am mobility impaired. I went into the store through the North door. I didnt take my cane because I planned on using the cart to walk. There were NO carts at the North door and the young man at the customer service desk offered no apology, but gave a lengthy description to explain that they would no longer have any carts at the North door. I went to the South door to get a cart and another customer gave me one of the last carts there. I havent shopped in this store for a long time. I bought the items I went in for, the young man at the cash register was friendly and helpful. Most of the customers in the store were not wearing face masks and the pandemic is still going on. I was at this store because I had just received my first vaccine dose. I probably wont be going back to this store again for a long time, if ever.

Albertsons/Safeway are the most expensive grocery stores in the area.Only worth shopping at when something is on sale below Walmart or King Scoopers.

Great produce section and good meat section as well. But the meat counter is very small with a small variety. The employees are helpful to get you the cut you are looking for. Store is clean and well organized. One of my go-to stores for my grocery shopping.

I use this store is good for quick trip when I forgot something elsewhere. I just cant get over the rotten meat smell when you walk in the door. Not the cleanest, especially the entrance.

Its ok to shop if youre willing to go across town. I only shop here if other stores are closed, or they sell a product I cant get anywhere else. Otherwise I dont make my way across town just to shop here.

Extremely rude LAZY and disrespectful employees typical of UNION Safeway stores. 4 visits to this store in one week have resulted in my having to leave the store without making a purchase on 3.Stackers literally blocking the aisles then copping attitudes when asked to excuse passage by a disabled man with a cane.UNION social hour is the biggest priority in this store so dont forget to grab a cart from the parking lot BEFORE you go in...or youll be turning around to go back out to get one! Product markers not even close to where the product is actually is located etcOnce there were 3 Safeways in Cheyenne, now just this one so selections are very limited which could explain the expensive prices and lack of choices.I will NEVER shop at this store again it is an EXTREME INCONVENIENCE even tho it is the only grocery store close.

I was able to find what I needed. The store was very clean.

The closing manager should keep the self checkout lane open and not just have one person at a lane checking people out. This would result in less longer lines of people waiting, and you could use that same person to monitor people to prevent stealing. Every time I come in at night there is a long line because there’s only one person checking people out and this is very frustrating when I could have just gone to self check out.Another thing, I have noticed that the staff sometimes closes one entrance, this is very frustrating to customers as you can park in one spot and have to walk to the entire other side to be able to enter the store.. and half the time a door is having issues and won’t open properly..I love shopping here, but I feel like these things should be tended to as I’m sure it frustrates other people too. As someone who works in management, I understand that issues like these can cause someone to not want to shop at your store again when there is Walmart, Albertsons, and other stores that will not have these issues.

I went to Safeway Cheyenne WY yesterday, February 9th and experienced the worst produce and meat counter that I have ever had in a grocery store. The pears, oranges, iceberg lettuce, grapes, and raspberries were almost rotten with the oranges already bearing large mold hollows, wrinkled, and withered bodies. The pears were badly bruised and already overripe. The grapes, especially sapphire grapes were wrinkled and already practically raisins. There was a smell of decay from the time I entered the produce section, to all the way through meat and into the milk aisle. The milk was old, some already out of date as of the 5th of February and this was milk in cartons, not plastic. This milk tends to have a longer shelf life upwards of 2 months from the time product is received. There has been no quarts of heavy cream in months. The Colorado brand of milk displayed on sale in ads was nowhere to be found, neither were many of my everyday staple items. I purchased a local Colorafo bass from the fresh fish counter even though the smell radiated all over the store from that area of rotting meat beyond consumption shelf life. There was what seemed like a district manager there in the store at the time I was there at about 2 pm and I wish now that I had just gotten her attention and walked her through the store and pointed all of these things out. The Roma tomatoes were bruised, withered, some with mold spots. The avocados were old, withered, some with the flesh having already separated from the skin and you could feel this when you could gently press on the skin and your finger felt like it would just fall through with no resistance on the other side. I have been extremely disappointed the last few times I have been in the store due to similar conditions, but this time superceded all others. I attempted to contact a Manager via phone call when I got home because the local Colorafo bass I purchased upon opening the package immediately getting home filled my kitchen with the worst smell of rotten flesh that I have ever had and everyone in my house nearly ran out from the stench. I spent over $11 for 1 fish, and simply had to wrap it in 2 trash bags to throw it away. I am going back to that store today to take pictures of the conditions. Items on the shelves were out of date, poorly stocked, whole sections bare of product and has been that way for months. When asked at the checkout counters if I found everything ok, I have been very honest that no, I have not, only for cashiers to ignore what I say and not inquire further. However, this is not a cashier issue and if Managers cannot see and smell the problems, then they are blind to it or simply do not care. I cannot believe that Safeway or Kroger would condone these issues and if they do, then I would ask for everyone in Cheyenne to shop elsewhere. Thank you.
