The coffee was great and the food was pretty decent as well. The shop has a great atmosphere.

My favorite coffee shop in Cheyenne! I always stick with a plain hot coffee or a cold brew if I’m feeling fancy and the coffee is consistently wonderful! They have an excellent selection of breakfast burritos and other quick bites too. Their drink menu looks adventurous and original if you like flavored coffee drinks! The owners are friendly and always remember me and my order, I love chatting with them when I pop in for a coffee or breakfast. Really a gem of a place!

My wifes home coffee collection is her life line for mornings. Since we are on the road its always a hit or miss to find good coffee. This little coffee shop does it right. She had a French press cup of coffee and a slice of their salted caramel cake. She said both were delicious.The shop has breakfast burritos and sandwiches as well as various flavors and coffee mixtures.By the time we had our coffee and cake the shop had started filling up. There isnt a lot of seating but people are willing to wait for their morning kickstart.Nice little shop with BIG personality and high coffee standards! Would recommend.

We were just passing through Cheyenne on our way west and needed something quick for breakfast. The Crooked Cup had a lot of yummy choices and the sweet couple (and baby) working behind the counter were very good. I got a bagel sandwich and a latte, both of which hit the spot. I would definitely revisit The Crooked Cup if I ever find myself in Cheyenne again.

We are traveling and stopped in for coffee and breakfast. The owner was super friendly and helpful in describing the different breakfast options. Traveling from Colorado with our son who has celiac and found this gem! They offer so many homemade gluten free options. Amazing homemade gluten free bread! Drinks were awesome. We also got a gluten free cinnamon roll, gluten free brownie, and gluten free cinnamon swirl muffin to go, all of which were to die for! Highly recommend this place!!

Ive been into the crooked cup a handful of times and its always been good. This morning, however, I watched the barista cut up raw meat and handle my burrito with the same gloves on. I should have said something when I watched it happen. I wont be going back.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The gentleman took a lot of time discussing the different drinks with me. I dont like my coffee terribly sweet. Normally I would have gotten just the regular brew but I wanted to try one of their specialty drinks. I went back and forth on a couple so honestly dont remember which one I ended up with. I think it was the crooked bumblebee with half the normal additives to decrease the sweetness. I probably could have gone a little bit lower on that because it was sweet but the sweetness did not overwhelm me to the extent that I did not enjoy the drink. It had a nice flavor and it was a nice change from a basic home medium roast with a smidgen of half and half and cocoa.

WONDERFUL coffee! Amongst my all time favorites, and I have drank my share of coffee. I also recommend trying the tea while youre there.

This place is wonderful! On my two day trip to Cheyenne I came here each morning. Breakfast burritos and kolaches are truly homemade and delicious. Its one of the few shops that opens early. The two drinks I had were also fantastic, and the owner/server/barista was incredibly helpful and friendly!

They have amazing tea blends and the coffee is not only hot its good

I love the coffee. Ive never had a bad experience at The Crooked Cup. I often stop after work in the summer and the espresso is smooth and nutty, great in iced drinks. The owner is always friendly and fun to chat with. I even got a foam heart on my latte.

This guy is awesome! Drives an hour to work his shop. Flavors are amazing! I ordered the Crooked Bumblebee its one of those that isnt so super sweet you cant taste the coffee. He is a great conversationalist while filling orders.

Straight deal on the Crooked Cup for vegetarians.This is a small chain with several stores in northern Colorado which recently opened its first store in Wyoming here in downtown Cheyenne. Im glad they did. The people working here are very nice and helpful, answering any questions I had.Aside from some creative pastries there are a couple of meal items available which are meatless.Veggie Kolache - an in store made puff pastry filled with mushrooms, spinach, tomato, and white cheese (its white American cheese a.k.a. pasturized processed Swiss cheese). This was a tasty treat which they reheat for three minutes in their convection oven (not microwaved) and it puts a nice finish on it. It could be an entrée for small appetites and is reasonably priced at $3.75 I hope someday they will switch to any white cheese other than American White Cheese, such as Swiss, Provolone, or Mozzarella.Egg & Potato breakfast burrito - filled with egg, potato, corn, sour cream, green chile, green pepper, and black beans. These are made at one of their stores in Colorado and brought to Cheyenne each morning by the owner. I asked and was told the green chile was meatless. It is served with salsa (if desired). This is a very tasty breakfast entrée and not overpriced at $5.25I got a 16 Oz Cappuccino which comes with two shots which gave me a nice lift and was tasty enough to enjoy without any sweetener. They will ask if you want it wet or dry which refers to how much foam you prefer. This was one of the better coffees Ive had in Cheyenne. If youre downtown this ranks with my other favorites. Its reasonably priced at $3.90Ive given them a suggestion to pass on to the owner, please identify vegetarian items on the menu so customers who want meatless items dont have to ask questions about each item he or she is interested in.If they would take the suggestions about marking the menu for vegetarian items and use real cheese instead of pasturized processed white cheese I would raise their 4 stars Im rating them to 5.If your looking for a quick bite and good coffee, skip the big chain places and try here. I think youll enjoy it. I did. 😀 Bon Appétit.

Just passing through town and tried Crooked Cup. We had a strawberry smoothie and a brown sugar cinnamon chai. Both were delicious and the man behind the till was very helpful with suggestions.

The most unexpected breakfast experience by far! So we came here expecting coffee and some regular breakfast sandwiches as usual. I was so thrown off when he started making everything from scratch. The size of these sandwiches are impressive because he does not hold back on ingredients. The quantity is amazing, and the quality is superb. Definitely give them a try! They also do a buy some get one punchcard reward system, which is always a nice way to show appreciation to loyal customers. If youre looking for a more charming, local alternative to the larger national chain shops, I would recommend giving this place a shot!

Best coffee shop in downtown Cheyenne for a beverage and light fare food.Unlike the other elitist coffee shop downtown, Crooked Cup is following the science of Wyoming and not demanding that customers wear masks now that Wyoming has deemed they are no longer necessary, and encouraging others to get back to a normal life by example.

Wow this tiny place is awesome. The owner, Elio, who runs a one-man show greeted us as soon as we walked in. The food is great, the coffee is awesome and the customer service is outstanding.

Staff was really great. I ordered the French press, & it was a little weak. I would recommend either asking for extra coffee, darker roast, or longer brew.

We stumbled upon this place on our way to a previously visited, noisier coffee shop. Were so glad to have found this place. We love all the menu options and the tea was great. The staff was able to make me a hot tea latte with almond milk and honey so I could avoid sugar. They were kind and knowledgeable about the crooked cup.

The Crooked Cup surprised me and I’m so happy it did! The gluten free bread is amazing and I’m actually able to have a delicious sandwich again. Toasty and warm with good, fresh ingredients. A delight! The coffee is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The new owner (an experienced chef) is a warm and caring family man who truly appreciates your patronage. I went in for the first time and he has remembered me every time since. I truly appreciate his understanding of allergies. Clean and inviting, yummy and delicious. Love it.PRIOR REVIEW - CRAZY LADY ALERT: There was also a crazy lady who came in and flipped out and left because one of the baristas didnt have a mask on at that second that they walked in. She then left a negative review here. He had taken has mask off to just take a drink and was absolutely nowhere near any customers. Shes absolutely insane and you can tell from her review history, she gets off on leaving negative reviews of businesses. Dont give her negative review any credit.

As a Starbucks partner of over 7 years I would say this place blows Starbucks out of the water. Hand made pastries and absolutely great coffee. You like black coffee? Come here. The best cup of coffee we have ever had!! My husband and I stopped in here from out of town, on our way to Portland, Oregon while we waited out the I80 highway closure. Its far above better than Starbucks or big chain coffee shops. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. Stop in if you are in the area. We had the BlackBerry Cobbler Espresso and Canadian Espresso. The latte I ordered was not as bold as I would have liked. The bean used appeared to be a medium roast. I prefer dark roast in my special drinks. Also, the milk seemed over heated and had a strange after taste. I will return for another cup as I like to give a business a couple visits.The gentleman behind the counter was super nice and very personable. The atmosphere was very comfortable with several different types of seating options.

Awesome Coffee and home made food, even better staff! Stopped here on our way out of town and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food made from scratch (also a good value) and enjoyed a conversation with the owner while eating. Highly recommend! Employees not wearing masks during a national pandemic.ETAThe person not wearing a mask was cooking food right behind the batista, which is what I came in there for.They also had someone stalk my social media just hours after writing the review and message me on Facebook sending harassing messages. Apparently Im not welcome in their state if I feel they should comply with state mandates.
