This place was super quick and efficient. I called and asked if they could print and bind a pretty large presentation, and I needed four copies of it. They not only printed off the full-color pages (on pretty nice paper), but they bound it with a nice tape binding that made it look so much more professional that what Ive received from other places in the past. I emailed them the document, and it was ready for me to pick up a couple of hours later. Thanks to the UPS store in Chesterton for making this super easy!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Came in to ship a package to a family member that lives in Florida, and the associate behind the counter took care of my in no time! Her attention to detail and detailed explanations to me questions really cleared some things up for me! 10/10 would recommend! I will be coming back!

I went in to this ups store this afternoon, and there were a pair of new girls behind the counter. Apparently they were still training, and the owner was there helping them, but they did a fantastic job! They were very sweet to me, even thought I had no clue what I was doing. Thanks ups store for helping me out today.

This store is awful… No experience on anything! Over priced!!! Customer wants and knows what they are looking for and no one knows what to do or solve the problem, u have an account with them and still we have dumbfounded faces.. Isn’t the customer right? Why not correct your mistakes and not blame the customer.. This is crazy, staff is NOT trained, should of went to FedEx in Valparaiso….. but wow what a joke……This was convenient but the time spent in store with nothing resolved this is an issue….. Lack of training here people… Rude, Non-apologetic, don’t worry I already have the owners information and will be calling/emailing……..

I needed to ship an important and fragile family item and David and the team at the Chesterton UPS store were wonderful. They were diligent and transparent in explaining the price, super skilled at packing the item safely, and followed the shipment throughout to be sure it got safely to its destination. Im grateful and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I went to the Chesterton UPS store to email myself two sheets of paper. This cost $10. For comparison purposes, the location in Valparaiso charged me $2 to scan and email a single page.There is absolutely no reason to go to this location, even considering proximity, due to the price gouging. Other reviews also mentioned the astronomical prices. As soon as more people are aware of this, there is no reason to believe this location will stay in open.Edit - for transparency, scanning is $4.95 and emailing is $4.95.

I went in to make copies; color, double sided, and was there for ~30 minutes while 3 employees tried to get the job done! I finally asked for my flash drive back. It is a shame employers do not invest in training their employees!I left and went to Data Graphic Printing and got the job done in no time.Run like your hair is on fire from UPS Chesterton!

The owner, Dave, was so helpful with packaging up an item for me to send to my daughter. It was quick, easy, and cost less than I expected given the fragile nature of the item (some glassware and a framed picture).Highly recommend!

My mother went into the store today and is a disabled/handicapped woman who either uses a cane or a walker for her severe arthritis. The owner was extremely rude in many different ways. We were there shipping a package of my some of my sisters belongings to her. First off, they are NOT handicapped accessible, not to mention the owner says they dont have to be handicapped accessible according to corporate. The law literally states that businesses have to be handicapped accessible. She was having problems and specifically asked if there was a place for her to sit until her order was finished, but was told no. She could not even fit her walker into the door if she wanted to, otherwise she would have a place to sit. Second, yes we were shipping a package to Canada, but the price should not have been how high it was for a less than 2 pound package. They also dumped everything on the counter, wanting to specifically know how much each item cost and where it was from/made. Yes, we do know that you have to declare your items, but this was ridiculous. Another thing, she asked if they could box the item for her in front of her because we did not buy a box beforehand, and they said no, that they would do it later. She wanted to know the items were boxed and not potentially lost. After this, she was kicked out of the store. Where my sister lives, theres no bell since its a walk up and they require a key to be let in. Heres whats funny; My mother requested that there be a signature required since she lives in the city, the only other thing we asked for was that they call her to let her know that they were delivering her package so it would not be left for someone to steal. They stated they couldnt do that, which was another thing that was a big lie. They could literally hold it at the hub in her city. We also know that there is a standard return or abandon feature on a package that cant be delivered, so we werent mad about that, but why would they just leave a package that needs a signature? I wish I could give this store a negative rating. From now on, we will be doing our shipping with USPS or another UPS franchise.

I went in here earlier today to return a product back to amazon. The sir at the counter just scanned a barcode and sent me on my way. It was truly the most amazing technological thing I’ve ever witnessed. 10/10 would return a product back here again

UPS was unable to deliver my package to me on 4/19/18 due to wanting a signature. Okay no problem. I get an email after 6 that my package is at this location. I see the location closes at 630. I get here at 626. Doors are already locked. Gates are already down. What? Unacceptable.

Where to even begin...Extreme price gauging on all supplies in the store.Owner is extremely rude and unaccommodating to customers. My package didn’t have my second last name on it and a different mailing address, so I was unable to pickup my package even with the UPS ticket from my door, Photo ID, passport(both last names), ss card(both last names), mail, and purchase receipt.

They are nice enough but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. $28 to ship a watch to Utah ground. $51 to ship a small package to California ground. Tried to use my UPS account, but they arent authorized. Total waste of time.

Been there a few times, theyre more expensive than most of the UPS stores Ive visited as far as printing and stuff like that. The real reason Im writing this review is because I just went to return an item that was recalled by the manufacturer, they sent me an email with a prepaid label, the email contained a code to be scanned in order to print the label, their system didnt insert all information in the field so they asked me to try another button on the email that said print label so I did and the label appeared on my phone complete with all the information. They than had the nerve to want to charge me $5 to print the prepaid label...wth. Ill go to the Valparaiso UPS store from now on.

08-26-2016Its funny on your door and website and Google you open at 8 am and its almost 8:30 and you still arent open... people have things to do and obviously your employees dont care to start their shifts on time and make it convenient for your customers to send things out....
