Best place for tap shoes. Great service.

Stopped in today and Denise was awesome!!! So patient with my daughter and so knowledgeable. She even custom fit the ballet shoes with a couple quick stitches.

Tried to come to this store 3 times to shop locally instead of online and they are never open. Google hours are not correct.

The level of customer service is unbelievable! I’ve been in here twice and both times they took their time to help me find what I needed. My second visit was today and we got there just as they were closing and the lady stayed and helped fit my daughter for ballet shoes. She went above and beyond and she didn’t rush us one bit. I absolutely love this store. And they had everything that we needed! I wish more stores had such wonderful customer service.

The staff was so knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. We walked in not sure of what we needed and they made sure we found exactly the correct shoes/fit.

Denise took her time with my daughter and not having the right shoe in her store, she did not sell us a wrong fit. she said it is that important to her to find the right fit over a sale. Pretty amazing in this world today! she was able to special order a shoe that did fit and we had it within a couple weeks.

My son has a large wide foot that cant fit into most dance shoes. Dance Bag went the extra mile to get him a jazz shoe that fit. Great customer service and friendly.

Karen was great! She was very thorough at fitting my daughter for her ballet and tap shoes. She created dialogue and discovered many common interest which made our time very pleasant. The atmosphere is great and Karens customer service made the entire experience.

Weve been customers at The Dance Bag for many years. We have never met a better pointe shoe fitter than Denise, and are familiar with all the stores in St. Louis as well as one of the more well known dance stores in Chicago. You will not get better service or a better fit anywhere else.

The people working there are friendly and helpful. Usually they have what we need, and if they dont, they will order it. They seem to communicate with the different dance schools to figure out what each school requires and try to have it in stock ahead of time.

The dancer in our family was so impressed by her pointe shoe fitting. The staff evaluated her bone structure and pulled shoe selections based on her feet. They also recommended and tried various padding/ spacers to find the ultimate fit. This was not her first pair of pointe shoes, but after her fitting, this is the only source of pointe shoes for her. Highly recommend!

I just visited the Dance Bag about a half hour ago on my lunch break because I needed to pick up toe spacers. Im not a dancer, but my feet are awful and the spacers really help to take the pain away. The lady that was working at the time (Im afraid I didnt catch her name) was truly wonderful. She made a normal, run of the mill shopping trip into something awesome. Right from the start, she was welcoming and when I explained what I was looking for, she took me right over to the spacers and started explaining about them and the difference between other versions I might have had or seen. She also told me about the soft lining that one can purchase that some of the girls use. Since I was used to the feeling of spacers, I didnt go for that option but Im glad she brought it up for future reference. Anyway, I had never been there before but since Ill more than likely be needing spacers again, Ill definitely be back. Thanks a lot!
