The price was right! They found the problem I was having with my laptop within minutes. The reason I did not give them 5 stars was due to no communication. I was told 3 - 5 days m laptop would be ready so I called on the 6 day because no called me. For them to tell me that they were going to check on my laptop and call back. Which they did the next day to tell me that the part they ordered was missing a piece and it took them another week to call me to let me know my laptop is ready for pick up! But overall GOOD JOB!! My laptop works just like it did when I purchased it.

Quick and accurate determination of a hard drive disaster. They provided a referral to another company to determine if data can be retrieved who was much less costly than my IT guys choice.

These people are definitive proof of why you should support small businesses.I had a 1TB external hard drive crash and rendered inoperable when exporting a music project I had been working on for months, making all ~300GB of my lifes work in my music production hobby and college assignments vanish. I brought it up to Tailored Data Solutions and had it fixed within a couple of days with the expertise of one their employees who is excellent at data recovery. Only ~300MB of the ~300GBs of data was corrupted/not recoverable, which is about a 99.999% recovery rate. They were absolute life-savers.The biggest takeaway was this: dont take your broken/damaged hardware or software to these big-tech monopolies (e.g. Apple, Samsung, Microsoft) who overcharge and take way longer for the same services that Tailored provides. Ive had an external drive crash before a few years back and the large company I sent it to charged me almost 6x as much for their service and took weeks longer than Tailored did. Support your small businesses......and backup your data too.

Firstly, I like that it’s a family-owned small business - it’s much more personal than a big corporate chain store. They were very friendly & helpful from beginning to end. The wait time to get my computer back was much shorter than I expected, they were able to talk me through what had broken/what they fixed. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Theyve fixed my phone multiple times from cracked screen. Always had them in stock and a few hour turnover. Also fixed my computer in 2 days they had to get a part for where the chord plugs in my laptop broke. Great place.

Excellent Service. The computer crashed and my wife was concerned about her pictures. Best Buy told me it would be $150 to get the pictures. These guys did it for $100. All done in 2 days! Ill definitely recommend to all of my friends.Used this company again recently to fix my laptop. I had to have it done in an emergency and they installed a new drive. The guy told me it was going to be faster as it was a solid state drive, but the difference is amazing. Its like I bought a new PC.

These guys are the right guys to fix your laptop phone or computer Caleb was very honest up front the receptionist was very honest and upfront.Ive been to a few creepazoids and big-box stores and all you do is get ripped off.My billing computer crashed on the Friday morning I called them I brought it in there was an expedited fee I didnt mind paying it and it was repaired and up running with a warranty by about 5 in the afternoon.bar none of these people are professional will treat you right I have any phone or computer issues I will be back.

On a separation of a former employee, figured out a space key was not working properly. Replaced keyboard at TDS, placed computer on the shelf and forgot. When new employee was hired - and given this laptop - she noticed no backlit. While replacing the keyboard seems TDS forgot to plug in backlit cable. The proposal was - if its whatever reason our fault, Ill pay the whole thing. If cable is unplugged and this is a fault of a repair man - please complete the job for free. Not only they refused but owners wife yelled at me! Unbelievably rude, and do not take responsibility for their own job. Receipt 30728 from 03/05/19, fixed by Patrick.Update after first (deleted!) owner response. These people are lying saying they did not yell and offered service. Please post the video if you have it. Yes, even though it sounds unrealistic, this was a work computer, and yes it wasnt turned on after the person who used it left. And yes, this wasnt about warranty or repair but you forgetting to plug in the backlit cable connection in first place. It was corrected within 15 minutes at Best buy.They do not honor warranty part. Owners wife told me they wont even open the computer for free. The proposal was fair, and I even offered to write it down. If it is our fault and not a cable - I would pay. RE to deleted part about car repair places - car repair places would honor their job, and definitely correct if its their fault. Or maybe I was just lucky with car dealership I use.This said - owner is right - its their choice how they decide to run their business. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREIf I could could them zero stars I would. I have come to them quite a few times and it always takes them FOREVER to fix my stuff. There is a reason that there are reviews folks and these people deserve every negative one they have. They had my wifes tablet that I fixed myself after the digitizer had cracked. I guess I didnt seat on of the cables properly so the touch for the screen didnt work. I thought I would save some time and support a local business and take it to them... again, the tablet was working just fine and was in 1 piece. After 6, I say again SIX WEEKS I called to check on the tablet.... still not fixed. This was an easy fix of checking all the cables and I told them this. It wasnt fixed, so I went to pick it up..... I wasnt upset or anything, just wanted it back. They gave it to me in pieces. Understandable.... I talked with them and was going to take it back but after a nonsense story (they had to order special glue to close it properly) rather than the truth, I decided to take it else where. So I thought about the $25 I paid up front... called and they said they would check with the tech to see how much work they did and to refund what was left over... amazingly it took hours and hours or troubleshooting....And they refused to refund my money. Mind you, it was already good and no parts needed to be ordered just put it back together.... Im an IT guy for the US Government, 20 years of contracting to the government. I didnt have the time to finish it. So Im not dumb.... I know what Im talking about. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE. If they will lie to you and be completely ready to throw you under the bus for $25 BEWARE! I might even report them to the BBB.

After reading the reviews and the nasty responses back to the customers, Im bothered that I even had to give this business one star.My wife dropped her device off on Saturday, September 29th for repair a/o 1130. Kevin promised her a call back (by noting the number on the confirmation sheet she received from him) on my phone for when it will be ready for pick up. We returned to the store shortly after 2 p.m after we have not received a call and the business is CLOSED and they were also closed on Sunday.My wife posted a note on the door Sunday afternoon asking to be called on my phone first thing Monday morning when they opened in reference to her phone. Dianne apparently did not get the note on the door when my wife went in the building Monday morning.Dianne was not even a little bit helpful when my wife went in the establishment to retrieve her device. All my wife wanted to know was why didnt we get a call back from Kevin like he promised. When my wife wanted to speak with him or his spouse in regards to her phone being kept all weekend his spouse was just as rude as Dianne by saying Oh well, thats not our fault she didnt know we closed at 2 p.m without even trying to ask her husband if he even attempted to make the phone call. We live less than one mile away from the business. It was nothing for us to get there in less than five minutes of them closing for the day.After his wife was heard being unprofessional over the phone, my wife was fed up and left the business without paying with intentions on going back whenever Kevin or his spouse got in so we can clarify why my wife was left without her phone for two days and had to pay full price because of their mistake.Lastly, they pick and choose which military personnel they want to support. My wife went in the establishment in her duty uniform and did not get thanked one time for her service but when she went back to the establishment with another military person Dianne was soooo thankful for him. If you are in any branch of the military, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS business!In response to Kevin the owner.. If you or your wife wouldve been polite about what happened with the pone call, it would have never even gotten this far in the first place. There was not an ounce of empathy in that phone call! We will take it as a lesson learned not to depend on a small business to contact you about the service theyre providing to you.When I say you all choose which military personnel you want to support, Dianne did just that!, Like your wife, there was no empathy from what I was telling her had happen (you finally decide to admit it was your fault in the matter) her only concern was to get my money.As you should know by now, our business will clearly be handled else where. Customer service is lacking expertise. Overpriced and misdiagnosing problems dont factor into final cost of product service. I never knew who I was dealing with and when work was complete I was never notified. I took my laptop in and told them what the problem was and they returned it saying bad charger all the while charging me $40.50 for labor!! What labor? The problem still existed and I had to take it in again for exactly what I told them it was to begin with, another $40.50 charge and mysteriously it is solved. Not pleased with data security concerns and PII and will not go there again.

Picked up my laptop after a charging port repair. Opened it to see pressure damage on the screen from someone handling it roughly and a broken exhaust port frame in the back. Took the laptop home to find that there was now hard drive damage that was not present before dropping the laptop off. When I brought these issues to the attention of the employees, I was rudely informed by Mike that I was wrong and that the screen and exhaust port damage was there before I dropped the laptop off. When I brought up the issues with the hard drive, Mike stated that hard drives randomly mess up all the time and flip off just like light switches. The woman at the desk added that, people come back after repairs all the time complaining that their hard drives were damaged, seemingly believing that to be supportive of their case rather than damning. Overall, the customer service of Tailored Data Solutions is abysmal. I would only recommend it to those who dont mind the chance of their electronics being mysteriously damaged and who are in to being treated not as paying customers, but as unintelligent inconveniences by our good pal Mike.
