Went here a few weeks ago to purchase the LEXUS IS 300 black on black VIN# JTHCM1D29H5023390..... my father is a vehicle inspector so rather be safe than sorry I brought him to look and inspect the Lexus before purchasing. My father concluded that the windshield was not marked by Lexus, meaning it was an after market windshield. (Which means the quality is extremely poor) .... there was a clicking noise in the transmission when my father put the hood up and examined the vehicle, and the transmission oil was dark meaning the oil changes were not done routinely meaning the transmission fluid is old and most likely causing extra damage within the transmission. Lastly, my father drove this vehicle for a test drive and the front end of the entire car carried a vibration feeling this underneath even on a paved road going 45mph... and the vehicle steered to the right with a recent alignment concluding that either a front axle is bent or control arm.I am a young 27 year old female. This is a prime example of when a privately owned dealer takes advantage of young woman because we are not educated enough to see where the issues may lie under the hood. This is why YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS CARS WELL INSPECT THE VEHICLE YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY!!!! there is a REASON WHY this car has been on this lot SINCE AUGUST! Those of you who don’t know I purchased an auto works for 25$ which is a write up of this vehicles history, you can do this for any vehicle . It is WORTH THE 25! It was noted this car was purchased at an auction, and the issues found leads us that this car was in an accident. Dealers frequently lie on car faxes and can easily be manipulated. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE. I am writing this to warn anyone who has inquired on this car. YES THE PRICE IS PHENOMENAL , but TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!
