Best Mexican Food in not only Deep Creek but Chesapeake. Fresher than the Mexican Chain /Corporated in Greenbrier area. Staff is very friendly as always, especially the young woman tonight. The food is reasonable and always fresh. The Quac is by far the best. This place has been expanding over the years, there is a reason why. Oh and yes the chips, salse and white dip is nothing to turn away from.

This particular establishment simply not for me. Others may enjoy. More like a quick bite to eat on the run, they do sell Alcohol but only Beer, Techiquilla, Whisky and bottled Sangria. No mixed drinks. Also Water, soda etc. Staff was friendly decently clean so no complaints there😊

Authentic Mexican restaurant that quickly became our favorite with Fast and friendly service and the BEST horchata Ive ever tried! Although it is a little pricey at $4.50 for a large but well worth it and they make up for it with low menu prices. Amazingly delicious 2 dollar tacos too!

Best authentic tacos. They recently Re did the entire store. New bar and booth seating and a lot more spacious. This is the spot to go for authentic Mexican food. This is my familys go to at least once a week. The rice and beans are always fresh. The tortillas are hand made and dont fall apart when you pick it up. The Tomatillo sauce is the best Ive ever had. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely enjoy what they do.

Best local spot.I eat here whenever I crave ( Authentic ) Mexican food.Best thing about this place is, I have eaten here for years and I have never gotten sick. The servings are huge so I can never finish but I bring it home and it always makes someones day.I recommend you read the menu so you know what to ask for and you can always add sauces on the side or extra anything youd like, or you can omit something like onions for example. Its the best without having to cross the border. :0)

The food was great just like home made Mexican food. The drinks are a bit pricey but overall I give it a 4 stars. Would give it a 5 stars but the place could use a bit more of decorations.

Food was great and prices were fair. I had the Chicken Lunch Tacos. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Flour tortillas were a little greasy but the cilantro was fresh and the portions were generous. Its not somewhere to take a date but a great place for lunch.

Best authentic Mexican food I have had in the Tidewater region. The place is small and busy, but well worth it if you are looking for real Mexican food and not simply a pile of re-fried beans and rice next to a burrito smothered in Pace salsa. To add to La Commercials attractiveness, the prices are reasonable. And topping it all off, they have Mexican beer on tap.

Review №25

This place, I dont even know about. It was nice, clean, the people were friendly and all of that, but the food was not what I expected. It wasnt bad or anything, but I ordered 3 tacos and 2 burritos for takeout. She asked me if I wanted beef or chicken. I said beef, thinking seasoned ground beef. They were a little busy and she said it would be about 15 minutes, so I said I was going to run to the smoke shop next door and be right back. So, I come back and she sees me come in the door. Says my order was ready, shed be right out with it. She was, with two big bags, and said it would be thirty dollars and some change. Did I misunderstand her? Did she actually say thirty dollars and not thirteen dollars? Nope, I heard her right. Thirty bucks. For 3 tacos and 2 burritos.Okay, so I knew this wasnt Taco Bell. Maybe I should have looked at a menu first to see what I was getting myself into, but this joint isnt exactly high-end either.I didnt complain. I just asked her if she can take a debit card. She said yes, so I handed her my card, and she disappeared with it. She stopped at a table to check on them and then runs into the kitchen. She comes back out a few minutes later with my card and a receipt for me to sign. I asked her why she disappeared with my card. She explained that their credit card processor was in the back office behind the kitchen. Well, thats kind of a weird place for it to be instead of next to the cash register, I thought. I even told her that if I saw any suspicious charges on my card, I was going to know where to come back to. She told me I had nothing to worry about, but it still seemed a little suspicious to me.I got home and went to eat. I opened up the tacos. They looked more like a gyros folded like a tacos. It wasnt seasoned ground beef. It was steak sliced in long rectangular slices about a quarter inch wide and thick, varying in length. No seasoning. No cheese. Just unseasoned steak, that was actually a little tough, on a pita shell with a few sprinkles of parsley. The burritos were the exact same thing, just larger. No flavor. The only thing that saved the meal at all was the sauces. Everything came with a green sauce and a red sauce. Not sure exactly what either are called, but they were both good and spicy.I didnt have any unauthorized charges to my card afterward, but I still cant be sure if its only because I said something about it or not. Not to make any unfounded accusations, but I have heard of Mexican restaurants stealing credit card information and selling it to people in Mexico. It happened to one of my former coworkers mother. If you choose to eat here, I hope this lets you know what to expect. I recommend paying in cash and reading the menu first.

Awesome local taco spot. Be aware that the staff may not speak perfect english but the food is well priced and they recently expanded the restaurant side to add a bar and more tables. They only have one credit card machine so you need to go to the front counter to pay. One of my favorite places to visit when Im in town.Do remember they have a grocery store side that has lots of interesting mexican imports that are hard to find elsewhere.

Definitely my new favorite Latin food establishment. Came in for tacos and left ver happy. There were at least 6 different types of meat for them. Selection is great and the flavor and presentation is authentic not to mention a giant mug of Modelo is a great way to end a long work day. The waiter told me about a $1 taco special on Thursdays as well. Cant beat it!

Walked in and order breakfast, the coffee was instant, lol.Menudo was hearty with the side of tortillas that seemed home made.Waitress only attended me once. Never recived axrefill or checked up on me, I still gave a 3 dollor tip.The bull was 23$, a bit pricey for 2 items ordered.I probably would revisit with a to go order, the store adjacent was limited on items, seemsxlike it needs work.

I lived in Mexico, and the food is on par with what I miss. Dont go to a Plaza Azteca or chain Mexican place expecting the real deal. This place has it all. If you want to experience a truly wonderful culinary experience, and arent afraid of great food, then this is the place to go. It is worth the drive every time. I forgot to mention the selection of real Mexican beverages is one of the best in the area. Ask for the Manzana Lift or Manzanita Sol, the greatest apple sodas ever conceived.
