Had them install a pool 2 years ago. It rusted between the out side shell and pool liner causing a hole. They have worked with the manufacturer to get it replace. Thanks for the great service.

Being first time above ground pool owners Virginia Leisures staff were very helpful with answering all questions. Stephen was wonderful, from answering questions to writing up the sale to delivering everything to our home.After the pool was installed we went back to Virginia Leisure for our complimentary water test. They were very helpful in getting us on the right path. I highly recommend them for all your pool or spa needs.

We got the Bullfrog hot tub that my doctor recommended. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful - really great staff! My only disappointment was the slime that appeared in the tub after turning the jets on.

We purchased a spa from Virginia Leisure and are happy we did! We love our new spa; we were replacing an old one that we purchased from a different company 15 years ago. Were glad we went with Virginia Leisure for this one. They were very helpful in deciding which brand and model would be a good fit for us, and the ordering process was simple. Tried to buy a $500 pool cleaner and asked if they would price match an online price. Their interest in serving me instantly became arrogant, combative, and rude. Their are a lot of places to get expert help & buy pool chemicals. This place is one to avoid.

We bought a pool from this company. But they are lacking on installation with their pools. We received our pool on April 20 and on May 19 started installation, but had numerous issues resulting in our pool still not finished yet on June 6. This company recommended the installer. We have had communication issues with the installers and we dont recommend purchasing anything needing installation from them.

Good initial service during buy, corrected an issue after purchase. Steven was very good and ensured we are happy. However, the rest of the staff makes you feel like your bothering them getting water tested and purchasing product, it didnt seem this way 3 months ago.

We looked at all the local dealers and by far Virginia Leisure were the most professional and offered a package that was just right. It took a while to get the tub (COVID situation) but they kept us informed all the way. Finally it was here, the install was seamless and again very professional team. We are delighted with the tub and the service so far.

They listened to what we wanted for our home. Quick response with any issues. Bullfrog hot tub is amazing! Would highly recommend!

Update: Its July and our pool is still not installed (bought the pool at the beginning of March). The contractor Virginia Leisure (JR Services) uses is very backed up. So are the majority of the pool installers in the area. There was a delay initially because of the weather on June 3rd. The next time they came out (two weeks later) they came out early and measured and determined that we needed to have the bobcat come and level the ground (even if you think you dont need the bobcat, have them come out and measure so you dont waste two more weeks). Then after leveling the ground on that same day they decided to postpone the install again for two more weeks because the ground was damp. Hopefully the install happens this time.My wife and I went on two different occasions to the store. We were pleasantly surprised by the displays and how the store was organized. The first time we were there just looking for information (prices, options, etc.). The saleswoman gave us some options and gave us an average price on the aboveground pool we wanted. After going to a different store and getting a quote, we decided to come back and ask for a quote at this location as well. This time around, Drew was the salesperson that gave us the information we needed. I do have to say that Virginia Leisures process to give you a quote is VERY hands on. It will take time for you to get a quote from them. This process could be a bit more streamlined. We ended up buying our pool from Drew. I believe we got a good deal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this business for anyone looking for a hot tub or an aboveground pool.

My husband and I purchased our first ever hot tub from Virginia Leisure. Nate helped us through the process. He was informative, helpful, and not pushy at all. We got the tub as promised and we couldn’t be happier with it! The water balance has been a little tough at first, but we are learning.We have been back too! Stephen recently assisted us with our purchase of outdoor furniture to complete our backyard project. He let us know about specials, custom orders, and gave us a background on how the furniture comes from recycled milk jugs (fun fact). Again, he was informative, but also gave us our space to deliberate. We felt comfortable during the process and probably sat in all the chairs to find the best set for us.We highly recommend Virginia Leisure for your next spa or backyard furniture purchase!

I visited 4 stores before I happened upon this gem. The other establishments had tiny show rooms and the staff was less than inviting. Virginia Leisure had a great selection of hot tubs on site combined with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stephen in particular was outstanding; he spent over 2 hours going through the hot tubs with me and actually listened to my wants/needs. I ended up going to Virginia Leisure, which is a hike from where I live, because a hot tub that I ordered from Atlantic Spas was delayed by 4 months. Let me save you time and a massive headache: go to Virginia Leisure and buy a Bullfrog from Doug. I spent months researching hot tubs, hot tub technology, options, prices, etc. Let’s be honest, hot tubs are super expensive and you want to get it right. After deliberating I decided to get a Hot Springs Hot tub. I ordered it, put down a 50% deposit, and I was told that at most it would take 8 weeks to have it delivered and installed. 16 weeks later no hot tub from Atlantic with a “we will call you when we know” and a “don’t blame us you misunderstood attitude”.I called Virginia Leisure and Doug told me to come on in so we could talk. This is where my problems ended and we discovered hot tub nirvana. Doug helped us find the Bullfrog and pick out the one that was suitable for our lifestyle and yard. He was a straight shooter, not afraid to be honest about the cost or possible delays, and even after my purchase he continued to follow up and update me. 6 weeks later we were sitting in our new Bullfrog, which was surprisingly substantially LESS than the hot tub I had originally picked out with Atlantic. The bonus is that Virginia Leisure has been outstanding in helping me get the chemistry and maintenance painlessly straight.The Bullfrog is hands-down the best hot tub I have ever been in. My husband is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and he is impressed with the massage capabilities and options. It’s obvious that therapists and medical people were involved in its design. As a nurse it helps me to recover after long days at work, as a doc my husband can finally get fully relaxed without leaving the country. Ha. It has changed our lives. If you live in the Hampton Roads area, and you’re in the market for a hot tub, use my cliff notes: 1. Go to Virginia Leisure 2. Pick-out your Bullfrog. Ladies: you won’t be disappointed ;)

I purchased a hot tub cover in March 2020, picked it up at the store April 2020,. In May 2020, I noticed a tear on the inside of the cover. I was disappointed to discover that the warranty was not covered by Va. Leisure but from the company where they purchased the cover. I was told I would have to call the company in Florida. What I was supposed to do is take off the cover and mail it. That is not an easy job.I chose this company because of the great reviews and Doug and Nate were very easy to talk with. I believe I should have been told ahead of time what company they were using and been informed of their warranty policy. I would not have purchased the cover. I asked for a meeting in person to discuss a resolution but got no response. So, be smarter than me. Ask for details about your possible purchase.

Top notch crew from sales person, to delivery men, to the electrician! Drew our sales person was extremely knowledgeable and answered many, many of our questions to our satisfaction. The price was outstanding and the tub was high quality. The delivery crew was friendly, took our old tub and installed the new tub from a very tight entrance way. The recommended electrician quickly installed the proper outlets and hooked up the tub the very next day! COULDNT BE HAPPIER.

Nate was courteous, professional and listened to our needs. We got tired of spending money to repair our old hot tub even though Mr. Lewis was an excellent repair person. Our old hot tub was sunken in the deck so we had size limitations. Nate was able to show us a few Spas that met our needs. Because of how short I am he had me sit in the hot tub to see where the water level fell on me. Perfect fit. And I absolutely love the lounger. A whole body massage at once. From removal of the old hot tub to installation of the new, everything was handled in an organized fashion. It was installed and filled in one day. Love my new hot tub. Thank you Nate.

Shopping with Virginia Leisure has been a great experience. If you are looking for a hot tub, pool, supplies, pool table, they are the place to go. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. I bought a bullfrog spa from them last year and as a Chiropractor, I recommend them to all of my patients. The Spa is easy to maintain and works great. They have also been so helpful with our pool (and we are first time pool-owners and need a lot of help). I am very thankful that we found Virginia Leisure.

If youre on the Peninsula you might want to go to a local Dealer. Having problems already with our Spa in our 2nd month and am now being told about a $2 per mile charge over 20 mi visit.Im sure it was somewhere in the contract but I can guarantee that discussed when we purchased the Spa.

I scheduled a hot tub maintenance appointment for a heating issue with the hot tub. They were there in 2 days, and diagnosed the issue in under a half hour (as promised!). He painstakingly looked through all the wires, found the problem, fixed it, and was gone in 45 minutes. Extremely polite, professional, and answers any and all questions I had. Also, their store is so balmy and fun , and they have everything you need at decent prices. Highly recommend!

This is an awesome place to shop. The staff here is always willing to help and very informative. We have a few sets of patio Virginia leisure already and went back today to look around and ended up taking advantage of their clearance sale. The new chairs are a perfect match for what we already had and a most welcomed addition. Nate was even kind enough to assemble them for me as I waiting to take them home.

I recently bought a spa from Doug at Virginia Leisure. Doug was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Before I even went to the store he came out and checked our existing deck to ensure that it could support a spa. He spent time with me in the store explaining the different benefits of each manufacturer. He even set up a soak test when my husband and I were able to wet test the different spa modes. We ended up buying a Bullfrog spa which we love! Doug also helped us set up delivery and installation and electrical set up. He was always available by phone or email to help me through the start up process and with my spa maintenance questions. I highly recommend Virginia Leisure . Doug did a fantastic job!

After searching online for pool table felt and being amazed at the price tags of $500+ decided to try somewhere local to get the pool table done faster and these guys were awesome $150 for the exact color felt I was looking for and the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Makes me want to go back and get a hot-tub.

Bought a pool in June did not get it put up until August installers best word was its to wet only come out once a week called VA leisure to get some help but got the same answer and we cant help you. After the pool was set up they didnt take theHighlightsft a mess after each time they came out.This is just the highlights.

The craziest thing ... I picked this store based on the great reviews and when my mom & I went in there this past week, not one person acknowledged us whatsoever. It looked as if they had two people at counter and appeared to be only one sales man on hand, so we understood we had to wait since they were all helping someone. So we sat down for a good 10mins at least, after we looked around some and waited... No one said a single word to us, so we walked out. Drove down to East Coast Leisure and had the best service ever!!! Sorry you guys lost this $8k sale but that was just plain rude, at very least you should have said hello we will be with you shortly. We even walked in right by the salesman. But I guess since we are not beautiful skinny bombshells we got overlooked.

We purchased a pool and had a great buying experience. Since then it has been less than adequate. They use a contractor JR Contracting that is beyond frustrating to deal with. Delay after delay with excuses after excuses. You would think that this place of business would care about installation and set-up but clearly they already have your money. I should have purchased my pool from one of the other places.

Bought a pool from here, they recommended a crew to put the pool in for us, horrible! They showed up and stood in our huge yard and complained, they tried to scam us and say they needed bob cats and what not cuz our grade was off. We ended up putting the pool in ourselves. No bobcats, a little digging and elbow grease and our pool was up. The older gentlemen (the owner) is great, helpful and informative. The rest of the staff is ok but I have on more than one occasion ended up with the wrong items and amounts f chemicals ( even though all our info is in the system). I dont understand how if everything is in front of you, you could still not determine the correct amount of stuff we need for opening and closing the pool.

Stopped by the Chesapeake location. Checked on parts availability for my pool. Was approached by friendly sales staff. However, the salesman I spoke with was not listening to the explaination of what I needed for my pump motor (e.g., an female adapter for the pump and a 24 pump to sand filter hose). Instead, he continued to tell me that what I needed was not the solution. So, a different salesman approached and provided me the apter solution that I was seeking. Regarding the filter/pump hose, I opted to purchase the type of hose offered. When at the point of sale, the salesman whom I made initial contact with informed me that the hose w/gasket that I also sought cost $100.00, but that he was selling it to me today for only $60.00. I purchased the adapter ($1.99 + tax), but declined to purchase the hose at such an over inflated priced hose knowing that it can be purchase for about $25.00 at the pool supply on Cedar Rd near Dominion Blvd. As far as the sale clerk who checked me out - she was very helpful, but I do not feel that I will return there for any future pool supplies/accessories or recommend the business. Great Bridge has several other pool supply/accessory options available.
