Went to the gas station associated with the store and it was clean, good customer service and I didnt have to ask for a receipt - the machine had plenty of paper.

Former employee. Most of these reviews are from former employees and friends of the manager Cheryl. Ive worked for this company twice and up until now Ive enjoyed it. The manager is a straight up liar and told me I said to her I quit. When I have texts proving otherwise. No notice told me shed put me back on schedule and not its no you told me you quit. If you ever work here dont bend over backwards for her bc shell just screw you over as soon as you dont do what she wants. This company has no integrity. Oh and they also think its perfectly acceptable to make checks available whenever. Even if it means well after all banks are closed

Start is very friendly and knowledgeable on all their products. They are speedy when it comes to customer service. The faces are fresh and always smiling. I will always go to this store for they are the best amongst all their stores.

This place SUCKS. Dont ever go here for anything. The only 5 stars that are listed in these reviews are by employees that work there. Cheryl , Karen and Chris are all employees. DONT BE FOOLED!!! This is the worse store on Geo. Washington Hwy. Parking lot is a joke along with managment. Im shocked they are still open considering how rude people that work there are.YOU KNOW ITS SAD WHEN YOU HAVE EMPLOYEES TRY AND BOOST THE STAR RATING. THAT SHOULD TELL YOU PEOPLE SOMETHING.

I would give a half star if I could. The lady name Sheryl was very rude and totally unprofessional. She reeked of marijuana and I could tell she was completely stoned out of her mind as I approached the counter to pay. This store is on my way home from work and I stop there all the time, but after my experience the last time I think i will drive to 711 where Im treated with good customer service for now on..... advise to anyone who read this DONT GO HERE!!

Every time I come to this store it’s always HOT. AC not working stay away.

Melissa was super pleasant and helpful. She made my day by greeting me as I came in after a long day at work. And the bbq was great too! Wonderful gas prices too!

The woman in question her name is Cheryl. She use to work at the shell station on George Washington Hwy. Im not sure why she is the way she is but she is very rude to people. Im actually not surprised by the resent reviews. Things over there have gotten alot worse. One of the reason I stop going there. The owner doesnt care so the comments wont matter to them but at lease they will warn other people not to go there. Its been mentioned in other comments. People 711 is across the street. Its a bigger parking lot and your greeted with smiles when you walk in.

This is a good convenience store I have no problems with the employees at thisstore and the service has been good for me!!

This is my stop every morning on my way work Cheryl is always welcoming everyone that walks through the door knows my order and has it ready as soon as I walk in sometimes even greets the customers in the parking lot when she’s sweeping up the trash or changing the cans there’s been some rude employees through the years but never negative vibes when Cheryl is working keep up the great work Cheryl

The absolute worse convince store to go to in chesapeake.The poorest management Ive ever witnessed. I had one simple question about their food and the manager automatically had a additude. She never gave me a answer just rolled her eyes and went to the back where she sat at the desk doing absoulty nothing. She was a older lady with glasses I dont know her name and frankly dont care to know it...very unprofessional and should be fired. I cant believe that a manager would treat a customer the way she treated me. The parking lot is a disaster. People save your time and money. 711 is across the street better service and fresh food.
