The place is beautiful inside and the representatives was so respectful. The prices are reasonable.

I got a helix and upper lobe piercings on the same day. They were so professional, polite, and affordable. It was quick and easy and just an all around great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Not pleased with the unprofessionalism at this establishment from the staff. Their time keeping skills are very lacking told us that there was an hour wait which is understandable but after our return of waiting that hour we were told that it would be an additional hour of waiting because the piercer had decided to take a later lunch. What happened to the customers that were before us? Did they get seen and taken care of during the first hour of waiting or did you just sit around for an hour? We should not be waiting another hour if we were already told the wait was an hour 2 hours ago. Poor management of time by you the staff. This will more than likely be the last visit to this establishment. Customer service is very poor. The piercer Bell has a very poor attitude and does not deserve management title. If I were the owner I would definitely have to reconsider having her representing my company especially when she speaks for the owner and General management. I wish my time had not been wasted by the staff at this establishment.As for your response to this review. Nice try with trying to act like you are the owner. I talked to Allison (who was NOT at this location) about the situation and she was not pleased with the situation. There was a communication breakdown alright and it was due to the staff at this location does not know how to handle time management. As for the statement about me talking to other customers you need to get your facts straight before making a statement. That customer was just as mad as I when we were approached by the very unprofessional piercer of your staff. The lady spoke to me about how your staff talked to me and was telling her daughter and niece about how unprofessional your staff was as well. I gave her the number to Alison as well so she could express her discontent as well because she was told the same song and dance of your staffs mismanagement of time. She chose to stay only because it was her daughters birthday and that they had driven from so far away and didnt want her time to have been all but wasted by the staff at this location. And for the record the peicer did not do anything to remedy this situation other than telling me that she was going to refund my money and we could leave. Also when asked for the owners number she refused and i had to ask other staff members to get the number. I was also told that Allison would not treat me any better than she did. Very poor customer service skills. The other staff members did have good customer service skills and provided all that was asked for. Allison was very attentive and did listen to my concerns and was concerned herself about how the situation was handled. You have my number and are free to call and talk more about this if you disagree. I am more than willing to talk to Allison and Ben (Owner) when they have time. Whoever wrote this reply needs to run this by them before speaking for them.

I’m really upset at my experience here considering the amount of money I paid. I was miss informed about an anatomical issue, which one of the other piercers informed me that I had a perfect daith for piercing after the fact. I also received the improper style of jewelry for the piercings I received and had to speak to an APP piercer to correct the issue. I ended up having to go to a different, more reputable shop to get all of the jewelry changed out for flat back posts that were shorter because your shop pierced me with curved barbells in my cartilage and it causes 3/6 of my piercings to migrate and viability become almost 0%. I trusted your shop, and felt comfortable enough to let your piercer style my ears and now I’m stuck going else where to get this issue fixed. Half of my piercings will most likely have to be retired because they were pierced at an improper angle and migrated. I will never return here and I’ve made it clear to those near me to not trust this shop either.

Walked in today to get a closed lobe piercing re-pierced. Picked out the jewelry. As soon as we were done, the piercer decided she was going on break in 5 minutes for an hour. She didn’t tell us, just the lady at the counter, even though she was standing 5 feet away the entire time we were picking out jewelry. The lady helping us asked us to wait for an hour until she came back. No thanks. If she knew she was going on break she could have told us when we walked in. If she didn’t want our business all she had to do was say so. I needed to buy a couple sets of 1/2” jewelry as well, but now we are going somewhere else.

I got my piercing yesterday and had a wonderful experience!! I originally came in to get an industrial and they explained to me that the top of my ears were too thin and I had no clue that something like that even mattered. I chose to get something else pierced. The entire store was very clean. I do not remember the name of the gentleman that did my piercing but he was very professional and skilled. I hardly felt the needle and he converses with you to get your mind off of whats happening. I will surely be coming back!!!

Honestly its a hit or miss. The first time I went in, the front staff werent super nice but they were okay. The piercer however that day was phenomenal. She was super nice. Unfortunately my piercing fell out within a week. I went back in and got it tapered again and put back in, with a lot of pain. The lady up front was super nice. The piercer, however, which was a different person than the last time, was very blunt and not very friendly. She was very meh. Then she accused me of being a smoker, definitely not, which is why my piercing hurt. I told her I didnt and she kinda rolled her eyes at me like she didnt believe me. Her reasoning for that was some color on her gloves, which was my foundation 🙄. I dont know her name, just know she has purple hair. I would recommend them, but they may not be my first choice unless the location is more convenient for you.

I felt really relaxed getting my piercing. Everything was clean and neat. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Glad my daughter suggested we go there. Will surely recommend to all I know who want piercings.

I accompanied a friend who planned to get their belly button pierced. Although the service was quick, her piercing ended up very crooked. My friend has a hard time expressing her dissatisfaction so we went on our way and she took it out to heal that same day. I recommend going to Temple Tattoo down the street.

Very clean, nice, and calming space with healing crystals planted around the store. They sell jewelry as well as aftercare for any piercing. My piercings look SO BOMB. Super cute staff

It was a quick walk in that only lasted maybe 5-10 mins. I got about 4 piercings & the piercer was phenomenalllll!! So was the lady @ the desk. Service was so good, I came back the next couple of days for more piercings haha.

The people were lovely and sweet! Definitely worth going. My only concern is that my daith piercing ball fell out not even 24hours after I got this piercing. I’m very disappointed that this happened, I didn’t even touch it or anything because of the soreness of my ear and still a ball fell off. I don’t know if it was screwed on all the way or what but I’m a little worried that my piercing may close if this earring falls out. I don’t have the ball to put back on it either, very irritating. The people were absolutely lovely though.

My minor son called me and I had to be there. So, went in with my 2 toddlers. She mentioned the prices, signed some documents but, end up not doing so since the toddlers cant go in the room while piercing. I really wished she told us before signing the papers what not.....She just told us, Sorry, I forgot! . Please stop wasting peoples money and time. Not everyone can just walk in without wasting money and time just to be told in a last minute that she cant do it.

Loved the service of the workers there, but when she pierced my nose it was all off track I asked her to move the mark a little closer to where I wanted and she replied “that’s where it’s supposed to be”. Even a few people noticed it was very off track

Ask for Caid! He was very professional and made sure to provide a comfortable atmosphere even changing the music to something calm and upbeat to help my nerves. He did a great job on my nipple piercings and ears. Everything is even and healthy. Highly recommend this place and this piercer.

Had got my nose pierced a couple of days ago. It has fallen out 2 times and now it has fell out of my nose and tore my nose up. Looking for refund most likely dont even want them to look at it.

Got my nipples pierced for my 18th birthday and He (not sure of his name) did a wonderful job! pain scale 3/10. I got very overheated and lightheaded (my fault because i didnt eat beforehand) but my piercer gave me water, A vitamin and let me lay down with a cold paper towel on my forehead to make sure I was OK! thanks so much

Best experience ever! The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable about the piercing it’s self but more so with the healing and proper way to keep your piercing safe and healing right. They educated me on why proper healing is important even though I wanted to be stubborn and Change my nose ring she encouraged me to leave it alone till it heals! Great jewelry options I had a lot to pick from. My piercer was so detailed and explained every step and I was so impressed with her bed side ( which lets be honest this industry lacks) and her over all compassion for what she does. Good job girls and I’ll be back!

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Shelly was amazing! She explained everything in detail to my daughter and was extremely patient and kind. I appreciate the professionalism and understanding of the milestone this was for my eight year old.

I went in on a whim when I saw they were open for the first time since I’ve been in town. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and seemed like she didnt want to help at all. I inquired about a micro-dermal top change and she unenthusiastically explained that she did sell dermal tops and that someone could change it out for me. I picked one out and waited about five minutes when I was called to the back for the change out. I laid down, and the piercer NEVER sanitized anything in front of me nor the piercing site before she started twisting and pulling on my dermal. After excruciating pain and a very red chest, i just told her to stop and asked what she was doing. She explained that sometimes dermal tops won’t come off at all, and insisted the only way to get them off was to tug on it with a pair of clamps. She told me to soak it in water, And that I could come back next week and she would try again. I called my local piercer the next day and went in and he was able to change it in less than a minute with no pain whatsoever. He explained to me that what she was saying was a total lie and that how she was attempting to change the dermal was completely wrong. Im not sure about actual piercings, but as for surface piercings/microdermals I DO NOT recommend coming here at all for those needs. They are young and unprofessional. The piercer tried to be nice about it though, but for as many piercings/dermals as she has herself, she had NO IDEA what she was doing.

Very kind and professional I got Dermils on upper cheek area, 8 weeks to heal and a bit painful during the piercings. Cost was $70 +$5 tip = $75Completely satisfied with the staff which also answer questions on their Facebook page with very little wait time for my experience. If I want anymore piercings or tats, I will be going back here. I was a walk in but I would call prior for new hours and rules due to COVID-19.

We had an awesome experience at Body Bar; Jessica and Belle were both welcoming, super friendly, and patient. Jessica pierced both my daughters and my ears and did a fantastic job. I went to get pierced at 825 and was told we close for piercing at 820 because there is alot of equipment and stuff that has to be cleaned Ive NEVER experienced that type of business acumen from any other place to turn down money because you want to clean the last 40 minutes of your shift... imagine if ALL stores closed 40 minutes early before posted hours to clean

Pleasantly surprised. Ive had my belly button pierced 2 times before I had it done here and it got infected both times before! Im pleased to say with the Gaia aftercare product and the titanium piercing they recommended, my belly button piercing is healing fast and well!! This was also the least painful experience Ive had with it - didnt even realized it had been pierced until I looked down. The girl at the front was super nice and easy-going.

I like this place and have had a few piercings done. However, as a piercing studio you should always have a piercer on site. Going in and being told a piercer won’t be in for 2 hours is ridiculous when you make money on piercing.

I’ve gotten four piercings at the body bar in greenbrier and every single time I have had a wonderful experience. I’ve had my Tragus, midway, cartilage, and navel done and each time I’ve had a different piercer and they are all so kind, friendly, informative, and communicative. Love this place! Definitely recommend for any piercing!

The piercer was amazing and friendly but the front desk women was condescending when I was asking about the health of my piercing. She said that any jewelry under 25 dollars isnt titanium when in fact there are plenty of implant grade titanium jewelry in shops and online much cheaper than 25 dollars.

I went in & had my nostril & daith re-pierced. The staff was friendly & informative. My piercer was fast - minimal pain! They even called to follow up a few days later to make sure I was healing ok. I’ve never had a piercer do that!

Service is good, I am just getting annoyed that I continuously have to go and get a new ball for my daith piercing. They do not offer hook closures

I had my daith pierced on Thursday. It hurt so bad over the weekend, that I decided to have it taken out. I called Sunday evening at 5 and the lady that answered said they guaranteed their piercings and if I felt the piece was too small, it would be changed for free. So Monday I went in and was told that a new piece was $13.50 and the lady told me she wouldn’t remove the piece bc of risk of infection. Well, it’s so swollen with this new piece that my ear is now bleeding and the bottom ball was STUCK in my ear. I will be going back tomorrow (weds) to get my money back and have the piece taken out. If they refuse again, I’ll be going to the ER and sending them the bill.

I went to Portsmouth to visit my daughter, Im from Charlottesville Va area and my daughter talked me in to getting the daith piercing to see if would help my migraines, I think Jessica is the one that did my piercings and she was great, I was scared to death lol but it didnt hurt at all and I got both sides done so I have a great looking piercing and my headaches have eased up so its a win win
