Absolutely horrible!!!! First I had to wait a week for someone to come out and fix my drivers side window...well apparently that just turned into the technician not having the right part/window. Now how?? When yall had my service order for a week? Nobody knows anything when you call and ask now my door is completely torn apart sitting in my garage waiting another freaking week for a possible repair pending my part comes in...Fast, Reliable my you know what! Gave only 3 stars, because my experience with the field service repairs havent been the best. Each time the quality of work has been less than satisfactory and somehow the company seems to think that level of repairs are acceptable. Even after I brought my vehicles to the shop for a comparison of what the repairs look like in person to what the after pictures look like from the tech. Lets just say that pictures can be very deceiving. Nevertheless, I have to say that they do very good work in shop and that is were I will only be getting any future repairs done on any of my vehicles going forward.

The technician was nice and polite. The technician arrived to my home on time and stated that my side window replacement would take about 30 minutes to complete. After an hour and a half, I checked up on the technician and noticed that there were an additional two technicians assisting. He stated that it was difficult to swap out windows on my Grand Cherokee. All is well, take your time and get it right. After the repair, the technician and I visually inspected the work. I took note that the gasket was not fully seated and the window panel was not on correctly and I expressed concern that the structural integrity of the weather proofing was comprised. The technician took a few minutes to try and realign and correct the errors. It looked okay as I reinspected the work and the technician left. A few days later, my wife notices that the panel of the window is half way on. The panel either needs to be replaced or corrected immediately. Please contact me to correct this problem.**Update**After submitting a claim, safelite purchased and installed a new window panel within a week of the initial issue. Thank you for your completing the work in a timely manner.

I was apprehensive but insurance would not go with the better rated autoglass companies. I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly (that part is easy sure), bit parts on hand, work was done quickly and they even cleaned the glass from the bed of my truck that i had not gotten to yet. Well deserved 5*

Unimpressed, The technician was professional enough but the repair was much less than expected. The small chip in my windshield was not only clearly still visible from inside and outside it was still pitted. Not sure what I paid for, hopefully it will stop the windshield from cracking but they have lost credibility with the over promised results of their website.

They did an excellent job. My car needed a special factory windshield because of the sensors in it. They had it available. Took about 90 minutes including the windshield recalibration. They also vacuumed the car. Joshua was wonderful.

Terrible communication. You can’t get the local store on the phone no matter how hard you try. I spoke with customer service via the online chat as well as on the phone to confirm that Safelite would accept my wex fleet card since the vehicle is a company car. They assured me I could pay with my wex fleet card at the time of service.However, the representative at the desk informed me, upon completion of service, that she could not accept the wex fleet card. I told her about the conversations I had with customer service, and she more or less said tough luck, I can’t really help you.I ended up having to make the nearly $900 purchase for my work vehicle with my personal card. On the bright side, my employer will reimburse me.They clearly have terrible internal communication in addition to lackluster communication directed to the customer. Definitely won’t come here for personal service should I need it.

Lets start with initial interaction with the facility and the staff. I was pleased with the front desk worker and the facility itself. Absolutely nothing negative from that experience. My negative experience comes from the work performed and the technicians that worked on my vehicle. I am a USAA member who was referred to this facility for window repair. So, I would obviously expect efficient work if this facility was recommended form a reputable company. What I received once the techs were complete was unacceptable. The door was dirty with grease and hand prints, the inner door looked like it had been pried open with a flat head screw driver, and worst of all the inner door wasnt even secured. After 3 different attempts to fix it, it still was not fixed. I contacted Executive Services to rectify the issue and Im now having to go to a body shop to get more repairs done. If you need glass work done please caution from using this facility until changes are made at this facility.....

After a few hiccups with determining the damage level, Safelite finally determined that our entire windshield needed to be replaced. They recommended replacing it with one they had in stock but told us that our heads up display, rain sensing wipers, and lane camera applications would NOT work because the glass is not OEM Acura glass. After a battle with Geico, Safelite ordered the OEM glass but there was no known delivery date! After 2 months the glass came in and Safelite had the glass replaced and all cameras calibrated in just over 2 hours! Great job, and so far so good after 3 days!

Ill update if I run into issue down the road.Had an appointment in the middle of April. Got a call the day before to say they hadnt received the replacement windshield yet. More advanced notice would have been nice.However, once it was received and an appointment made, the replacement and calibration only took 2 to 3 hours. The inspection sticker and E-Z Pass strips look like they hadnt been touched. Nice work.

The location is easy to find. Their customer service is wonderful. I was initially there for a repair but overnight the crack in my windshield spread so it turned into a replacement. I was able to be scheduled for an appointment in a few days. No long wait time while I was there for my car to be evaluated. The technician explained the process and what to expect. Very disappointed in service. Scheduling nightmare consisted of an appointment between the windows of 12pm to 5pm or 8am to 12pm. Setup a replacement through Progressive Insurance and Justin came out Thursday late afternoon by him self to do the replacement. The insurance put in notes the truck was customized and lifted on 40 tires. Justin, who didnt understand the concept of wearing a mask, tells me it can be repaired and it will be clear view in front the driver seat. Today, Friday March 5, Keith and another tech came out to do the repair. It took 5 minutes and they were done. When I came out at 1230 to work on my truck I checked the repair and the view was more distorted than before. So basically I was lied to to avoid the replacement. Horrible business tactics and internal communication. All calls made to have it replaced was deflected by customer service who blamed the local dealer and they couldnt get to it before we left Sunday they said. Avoid using this company for insurance claims save yourself the frustration.

Terrible service and communication. Scheduled repairs through my insurance company and dropped off the vehicle as instructed. So much for.a 9:30 am appointment as the vehicle still won’t be completed as agreed to prior to the end of the business day at 5pm. I have to arrive after hours in hopes that someone is still on premises to retrieve my vehicle well after the business closes.Customer service reps were less than polite and blamed everyone but themselves for over committing their services in order to make money. Somehow in the conversation, the business rep was annoyed that I was asking for a status at of my vehicle at 3pm.Again, so disappointed that the customer is last in their list to please and I’ll surely never use nor recommend this establishment to anyone. Bad service it says they clean all your windows they didnt touch any of them, it says the glass will be less likely to crack online but then they tell you this is not true, it tells you the crack will be less visible online but then after the service they tell you this is not true...

Absolutely disappointed with their scheduling process. Set up an appointment days in advance for 4PM 11Jan2021. I arrived about 20 minutes early and turned in my keys to the receptionist. My vehicle did not get brought into their bay for service until shortly after 5PM. The lobby was full of people who were waiting just like myself. Whether it be lack of staffing, lack of trained technicians or whatever the case may be...this was pretty ridiculous to not even begin work on my vehicle until a full hour after my scheduled time. What’s the point in even having a scheduled time? Hire more staff, train more technicians. Safelite is possibly one of the largest glass places in the country, not sure how if this is how they operate. Certainly will not be returning! Some might think an hour is nothing to get upset about, but life/plans/etc get planned around a schedule!

I scheduled an appointment on March 13th to have my rear windshield replaced on March 18th at 4pm. I leave work early to show up on time to be told we do not have your car scheduled today. Meanwhile I have in my phone an email from Safelite stating I have an appointment. I provide the referral ID along with my cell phone and I’m told on the day of my appointment that my windshield had to be ordered from the actual car dealership. This is information the front desk representative was reading off the computer and should’ve been provided to me that way I can reschedule, but nope it took me actually coming in and still I haven’t received an email stating we were waiting....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Recently had my windshield replaced and went through my insurance. Upon receipt of my repaired windshield, I discovered my eyesight cameras were disabled. I questioned the rep as to why it was disabled to which I received the response, β€œyou have a modified car and we can’t help you. Take it to your dealer and they can fix it.” Took my car to a local dealer who ran a diagnostics check and they received an error code of a broken camera. So during installation of my new windshield, they managed to break my of my eyesight cameras. I called an requested to speak to their manager/QA rep who came to my house in a car similar to mine. The gentleman proceeds to explain to me the systematic features and functions of the manufacturers camera like I didn’t know what my car was capable. It wasn’t until I mentioned that I was an ambassador for the company and he stepped back and said, β€œI guess you know a little about your car then.” Safelite has always been difficult to work with and I don’t know why I went back. I previously went with them to replace a windshield on my 2014 outback and found out they cut the cables to my windshield defrost. If it wasn’t for an airbag recall, I would have never known about this. I will never use them again after this recent incident. I also highly recommend talking to your service department and your local dealership before you use Safelite.

SAFELITE IS NOT RELIABLE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED!!!This feedback is regarding the extreme incompetence of a technician who not only could not be on time, but failed to find a hard to miss location on a one lane road. I have to point out that I was not in a rush for time, he could have been here at any time, so I came out at the time he said he would arrive to make repair. He never arrived and was lost on a one lane road by a known military base and using a GPS. I called the repair shop and the supervisor had no sense of urgency and did nothing, but find excuses for this technician.I am currently working to ensure USAA gets my feedback and stops doing business with companies that do not uphold their values of excellent service to their clients. This negative feedback must be common from more customers, as i just found out Safelite used to be the only company that did USAA glass repair, but it no longer is.Save yourself time and find a better shop!****Update: to the Safelite owner who replied, thank you. I did ask the supervisor, a lady who answered the phone if I could speak with you. She was not only rude, but she refused me the opportunity, which may have avoided this negative review.

First place I called to get a quote for windshield replacement. Made an appt and prepaid. Got a call a few days later saying the windshield wouldn’t be in until the following week. No big deal with the COVID going on. However, It also clearly states on the website that going to the dealer afterwards is recommended for recalibration if your car is equipped with advanced safety features, NOT that Safelite is required to do it. A phone representative called me and told me I was required to have Safelite recalibrate afterwards for an extra $250 and was extremely rude to me after I told her my car doesn’t even need that with what it’s equipped with. Long story short I got a way better quote from elsewhere with better customer service and cancelled my appt altogether. Overpriced, pushy, and rude. No thanks.

I did a quote online to have my windshield replaced. Went through all the steps and answered all questions according to my trim package. One question is do you have the XL trim package. No, I have the Lariat trim package. The XL is the lowest trim Ford offers. Get my quote, pay for it, find out at the shop its $100 more because the website didnt ask if I had rain sensing wipers. Very misleading and highly irritated.

I had a windshield crack from the left side all the way to the right side. I called Safelight and the very nice young lady helped me find the closest place that had my windshield in stock. She then got me an appointment right away. I drove to the location at my appointed time and I wasnt there long and they had finished changing my windshield. It was quick. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I then drove home and thought the seal wasnt put on right because on the top the seal was under the windshield. I called back then drove back. The very nice young man that put my windshield in came out to my car and explained how the top seal goes underneath the shield and told me it was safe. I highly recommend this company.

I would give zero stars if I could!! I set an appointment on last Saturday for service on Monday morning supposedly between 8:00 & Noon. I told the scheduler that I wanted mobile service at Nassco Shipyard (gave them the address). They sent the tech to my home residence...didnt find this out until 1000am, when I called to find out what was going on. The tech tells me he has to call the office to get clarification...an hour later I call this office because I had not heard back from the tech. The Manager tells me that the best the can do is send another tech (FROM SUFFOLK) between 1 and 2pm. The tech calls me and tells me that hes been calling me trying to get in touch with me and that he was leaving at 3:20pm. Ultimately I never got service!! I have never received such poor service from any industry. To be fair I have used Safelite in the past, but this was a horrendous experience.

Iniatially a month ago I started researching local places for a windshield replacement. With Safelite, I started with the online website but found it hard to find a schedule to meet my needs. I called the toll free number and talked with a customer rep. Who was able to confirm my scheduling conflicts. From there I received e-mails for a $25 off discount. Now a month later, I was ready to schedule an appointment. I went to the website and was surprised I was able to get a same day appointment at the shop with my discount. I dropped it off at 1 PM and it was finished at 5 PM when they closed. I liked the option of prepaying online, it helped expedite the whole experience. Expect moderate pricing. I found the staff to be friendly. The waiting room was clean and inviting with free snacks, water, and coffee. The windshield looks clean and professionally installed.
