Still good, just not what it used to be. At harbor freight you used to get slot of coupons in the mail that were amazing! They stopped these ads and now you have to pay 30 dollars a year or 45$ For every 2 years to get these same discounts, some aren’t even that great!? It’s becoming more worth to buy tools from better brands than before and I only came to harbor freight for one time jobs to spend less. But their price is catching up to the competition and now charge to get the previous discounts. From an average customer here before it is not what it was before.

They were helpful and gave sound advice. The man who assisted me didnt try to get me to buy all expensive stuff. The cashier was courteous as well. An former boss recommended them to me and he was right.

Went to get a 5 drawer rolling cart. opened box to find it damaged. re boxed, went to another h.f. the next one was damaged as well but not as bad. I will live with it. but really I think the workers should take some pride in their work.

I love Harbor Freight! I have numerous tools from HF and have saved a good amount fir excellent quality. I use them for home projects as well as my business.

So I bought a transmission 800 lbs (gray) Jack from the store on Niagara falls boulevard. In the middle of the of the transmission removal on a 2009 tiguan Im doing yesterday this Jack failed and the transmission fell out of the car and could have crushed me. Never trust your life with some of these cheaper tools and you should be ok and survive to see the returns desk. When I went to take it back to the store for and exchange they didnt have any of the ones I bought even though yesterday it said there were 5 available. ITS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THE STORE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They are re rearranging the store and its half empty. Looks like their going out of business. I dont recommend going to this location this week. (4/22/2021) I had no problem exchanging the Jack at another location (Cheektwaga) with my receipt for a new one. All the employees were very nice. Cheektowaga location very clean but much busier. Different location offer different varieties of tools. But buyer beware on Jack stands and the Jacks. Their is a recall on Jack stands. Dont buy cheaper tools and expect them to work equivalent to name brand. BUY THE 1 year Warranty. Lets see if Jack #2 works. If I die I guess you wont hear back.

Great staff. I couldnt get what I wanted at one and the sales lady called around for me with out me asking her. She found what I needed and even had one put aside as well as had the address ready for me to put into my maps. Clean place and all had masks and gloves. Customers were decent and careful. All around 10 in experience. Well done guys.

Honestly if I could do half a star I would, but not very happy with them, I had a power washer that the motor blew on it went, so I ordered a new motor, once that motor came in I went to start it and it did not start, I tested for spark and it had none, I went back to the store, that lady that helped me return and replace it was not nice, she had an attended and not very friendly, I walked out with a different motor, I let that project sit for about a week and half to two weeks because I had other things I needed to get done, once I found time to do it this motor would not start either, I went back to the store and the same lady went now I guess that didnt last very long now did it in a not so nice way, I ended up returning that motor and got my money back, this lady took off my member ship without telling me or anything, i ended up going a week later to buy a whole power washer thinking that would be easier, I bout it for 369, I went to use my member ship and this guy said that I didnt have one, but I told him I did and it had the exact date on it of when that lady took it off, he told me he would add my member ship back free of charge, I could not figure out why it came to $500. on the way home I looked at the bill and he ended up charging me for my member ship, I also had missing parts with this power washer as well, this power washer would not start, and after a bit me and my friend checked for spark and we had no spark what so ever, this is tow motors and now the whole unit and now it became a pain, I called the store and asked to speak with the manger, he gave us a very very hard time over the phone, I said heck with this place, he then told me they would give me back my $500 I paid, we went to the store the next day and this guy said he had to take off a 20% restore fee, I said NO, I spoke with the manger and he said the whole $500 I would get back, we were giving each other attitude and he said I have to take off this 20% restock fee and that is the stupids thing Ive ever heard, this item does not work and they r going to charge me for that, I never had to pay for a stock fee, I ended up getting only $426 back and canceled my member ship, NOT HAPPY AT ALL, never going to harbor freight again, they are a waste of my time and not good customer severe, I have the receipt if anyone wants to me to take a picture and add it, I would be more then happy to do so

Dont honor their own coupons. Big waste of my time. Had a coupon for 319$ lawn mower. Returned my royobi as this was a better deal. Went to the Amherst store and showed it to them and they didnt have the mower so I was sent to this store. They refused to sell it as the coupon was a missprint.Wasted time driving all over and now I need to go back to the store and buy the mower I JUST returned back.

Wanted a small vise to hold delicate parts and they had a hobby vise that fits the bill perfectly. Gas a suction base that holds to my steel topped bench just fine.

This was my first time there because I was accompanying my neighbor who frequents this store. It was a smaller than I expected store with labeled and organized aisles. The workers were helpful and funny. I got a free flashlight (courtesy of my neighbors coupon) with the purchase of my batteries. Using the coupons makes it a really good deal!

Love Harbor Freight, been customer for long time. New to Buffalo Ny area and live 5 min from store on Union... wont be back. Ill find another in the area or order online. I just left there. I was (as everyone was) wearing a mask. There were 3 registers occupied by workers and customers saw only 2 or 3 people in line total. I chose the line with fewest people and stood on Soicial D mark, next to a sign that said to stand there and wait. Very loudly one of the cashiers told me that only two registers were open and I NEEDED to stand on social distress mark. As I started to apologize (not that at did ANYTHING inappropriate) this gentleman loudly told me to move to another line... Im a adult, a professional, a leader in my field of vocation, and feel extremely insulted to be spoken to like a child. Extremely unprofessional! This employee was working with a customer at that register, why would I assume its closed and then spoken to like I was doing something terrible...wont be back to this location and recommend to others not to go.

Love this store. You have to be careful what you buy there because some of it is total garbage but once you figure out whats safe (dont EVER buy their cheap drill bits) you can get some great deals. I have tools from there that cost a fraction what they would other places and have lasted me for years. I also had stuff that broke the next day but in the end I still come out ahead.

Harbor Freight is cheap. If you need a tool for occasional use its fine. Every day or proffsional use? Get something better. Nothing wrong with these. But they arent top of the line. Know what you need.

This ones a little sparse on the shelves but they were adequately staffed to keep the checkout Lines Moving quickly. They did have what I was looking for in stock.

Always good deals. Any electronics purchased here its a good idea to get the warranty if you dont plan on taking care of your items like theyre a collectors mint edition. Because harbor freight tools are known to break. Theyre cheap for a reason. Other than that all my tools that I take great care of work great after 5years. Anything I forget to put away or drop tend to break faster.

I love Harbor Freight! They have everything you would want and things you dont even know you need. Dont think this is just a tool store! It is much more. There are plenty of great tools, but also flashlights, magnetic lights, magnets, gardening helpers, things you need to help around the house. I was looking for a foldable cane. Nothing special, just a basic cane that folds up to keep in the car. Walmart wanted $18; Target doesnt carry them; the pharmacy wanted way more than I wanted to spend. Harbor Freight has them for $9.00! Just a basic, black folding cane. Who would have thought of looking in Harbor Freight for a cane? I did! You will be surprised what goodies you will find thereBe sure to get the app that has coupons. There is always something free with a purchase, if you have the coupon.

Make sure you unpack and thoroughly inspect any large ticket items before you leave the store. Purchased a $350 item that was damaged, the store would not accommodate to return. Cheap products and even cheaper customer service.First and last purchase from harbor freight.
