Sephora has a lot of higher end makeup and skin care products and accessories.My girlfriend really likes the Kat Von D line and found a great foundation and lipstick that go well with her skin color.Expect to pay a bit more because of the quality. Most of the workers there are very helpful, but there are a few that don’t know much about darker pigmented skin.The workers will also do your makeup if you purchase makeup or need to have it done for a special event.

This Sephora is truly awful. The girls who work here are beyond rude (especially the short girl with brown/reddish curly hair). I refuse to come to this location anymore. I will either order directly from the brand or drive to Rochester before ever coming here again.

Maria from downstairs in SEPHORA I swear is always so wonderful always greeting her customers and always making sure that u have exactly what u need and everything that you need before you walk out that door. I cant tell you how many times I have walked in there and was confused on which make up to choose or perfum. MARIA TO THE RESCUE. She is always pleasant as well as the rest of the staff. They make eye contact greet you and say hello. Eye contact is key and they sure meet all the requirements to get a good review. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen. The worst customer experience I every had in my life. I used to work at Sephora and the lady had no idea what she was doing. Every perfume I wanted to redeem with my voucher they didn’t have available and she said I couldn’t pay the difference since they didn’t have 3 of bottles I wanted in the size. Absolutely ridiculous!

Despite being a new customer, Andrea was so helpful today with any questions or concerns I had. In fact, before I walked in, I was a bit anxious because I dont know anything about make-up. I felt like a rube LOL. However, Andrea made me feel so at ease. She was smart, funny, and couldnt have been kinder! It was such a pleasant experience and made my day. Had a makeover at this location today with Lindsey. She was excellent. Very personable, knowledgeable, and knows what she is doing. I know very little about makeup, but showed her a photo of what I was thinking and she did a wonderful job not only applying it, but explaining it as well. I loved all the products she chose for me and bought several. Definitely a good experience.

A very nice woman was helping me and a rude employee interrupted us and said that we had “tapped out” on samples because we each had three. I had two samples and my friend had one. I will not be going to this establishment again. I suggest this lady be fired.

Needed eyebrow pencil. The guy that helped was awesome. Picked out the best color for me and helped me purchase other items as well. Wish I knew the guys name, I give him 10 stars!

Please don’t listen to the horrible reviews for this Sephora store. Everyone in the store is very kind and helpful! Sometimes you may need to find someone if you need help due to it being busy, but most of the time the employees will ask if you need help right off the bat!I got my makeup done here, it was beautiful! I have been in here numerous times since and they have been nothing but helpful!

Went here today and the store manager Maria was extremely rude. When I asked her to help me figure out which product was best for my skin tone, she kept on saying things like, I dont know, do your own research, I have other things to do, I am store manager here. I dont have time for this. Dont waste your time going here unless you know exactly what product and shade you want I guess. Otherwise, good luck searching through their thousands of products. Overall, horrible experience especially from a store manager.

Got a makeover and it was great. I let my make up artist do whatever she wanted, and asked for natural products, lighter products [Im very sensitive and break out in pimples/rashes easily] she did such a great job.

Consistently great service with really helpful staff. I am mostly interested in skincare & have always been assisted as soon as a staff member was free. *This location can get really busy & congested, so at times—it might be difficult to find help.

Today my daughter had john help her find the rite color for her skin. John was such a pleasant staff member. Customer service is out of this world!!!! We will be back to see him again thanks for your help!!!!!

While I absolutely adore Sephora, I was a bit disappointed by this particular store so I didnt give it full stars. If youre planning to visit this location, know that it does not carry every brand Sephora sells regardless how popular the brand may be. This store is also not as big as other Sephoras Ive visited. Also, you have to chase people down to get matched. When I finally found someone, I was informed that I had to wait and that 3 people were ahead of me. I understand it was a busy time; however, only 1 girl was there helping a customer, while another 2-3 were just chatting away. Im a person who likes to do her homework before purchasing something (including checking what stores have the items I want in stock) and I dont like staying in a store too long if I already know what I want. Standing there and waiting for one worker to help me after lord knows how long is a waste of my time. I left without purchasing anything. Instead I went to Macys where I bought what I had wanted and within 30 seconds of looking at a product, an employee had already approached me and offered to help for each booth I went to. Macys was just as busy as Sephora. Due to the delayed service and lack of some popular makeup brands, Im giving this location only 3 stars.

I can’t believe the lack of quality customer service at this store. I walked away from a multiple item purchase because the staff refused to exchange a foundation they saw I had purchased a few days prior from a Sephora at JCPenney for a different foundation that they could see in my purchase history.

People dont realize that Sephora will give you free samples of just about anything you ask for. I stop in whenever Im at the mall and get samples of cologne.

Rude and condescending staff. I asked to be shown a product, not for an opinion on how it looks on me. This woman was trying to tell me that what she was showing me was my perfect shade and maybe she was colorblind? Idk, wouldnt listen to me when I asked for a different shade, rudely told me to put on my glasses to see that the color was right, then passed me off to someone else when I said Id look around on my own. I left the store after again being referred a different wrong shade. Just rude unhelpful staff in general who need to learn that the customer is always right.

I called late last nite to ask them to hold a specific product for me. They had one left. I came in this am to pick up and its not there! They held it for me but apparently someone who works there decided they wanted it!? Not nice!

Visited Sephora for the first time. I had full face makeover done. Lindsey did such an amazing job, she was so helpful and friendly. The lady that cashed me out was also very friendly. I will continue to return to this Sephora.

At this point I wish I could give them no stars and I will be writing a blog about them complaining to Corporate and all. I go to this Sephora so often my points speak for its self I have some off thousand points because I spend money. My husband and I were looking at perfumes and the manager snuck up on us like we were doing something wrong and I told her I just want to know how big the perfumes are in the sample box because the lipsticks are a decent size and she was very rude and replied “well they are samples so they look like samples.” Today I went in Sephora I wanted to see the price on some liquid eyelash stuff to help grow the eyelashes so I found it and was reading the back of it it was on the lower shelf so I had to bend down to get it and as I was reading it one of the workers came up behind me and said I’d there something I can help you with very rudely and I told her no I’m fine thank you she pretended to stalk something behind me and when I put what I was looking at back she went behind me and fixed what I was looking at like she had nothing better to do. I then went to the other side of the store and was looking st the pallets I turned around and she was right there acting as if she wasn’t following me. So I finally decided to get some concealer, the lady who checked me out was very rude. I was so offended and I shop there all the time. I’m dark skinned an African American woman and Bangladeshi but in the eyes of others because of my skin they see a black girl I also look very young although I’m 29 a mother of two a wife and I am an insurance agent, to make me feel as though I would steal something or am stealing something is offensive I make double their salary and I know for sure I make more than their managers salary. I couldn’t believe it! Collecting palettes is a hobby of mines I legit spend so much money at Sephora I have an entire walk in closet filled with make-up! Tbh I will never go back to that Sephora again they are RACIST on top of being RUDE! I hate that store with the most passion.

Its a makeup heaven. I love this place

I came to get new makeup. I told their sales rep/makeup artist Nazifa that I had about a $100 budget for the basics but willing to go as far as $120. Her makeup work was amazing, however, her selling ethics were not. She showed me makeup that she claimed were sephora brand and cheaper but effective. She told me specifically that it would come up to around $125 ish and that only one item was designer. I thanked her and went to check out. It turns out when she was collecting the makeup she decided to trade 3 or 4 of the items with designer brands and jack up my price to about $320. I informed the cashier (who I forgot the name of. He was a male, I think he was wearing eyeliner and he had blonde hair with blonde roots but we will get back to him later) of what happened and he looked extremely upset like whatever happened with Nazifa was a repeat offence or happened before. He helped me get the price down to about $120-130 and called Nazifa to the cash register. He made her apologize (which from her did not sound genuine) and as we were leaving he was talking to her in a low tone.Now I wanted to give Nazifa the benefit of the doubt but if feel like what she pulled was something shes attempted in the past. I dont know if she did the same in the NYC store she was from but shame on her for trying to scam a college student.Cashier guy, I have no idea what your name is and I tried reading the receipt in its entirety for your name and I think it would be weird to call and ask for your name. But thank you so much. I was the person who you cashed out at the galleria location around 5 PM last Sunday. If it helps anyone who can give you a raise or some sort of brownie points figure out who you are, I used my membership card and redeemed my birthday present I got for my 2/18 birthday to get the eyeliner and lipstick samples. You really helped me out a lot and I honestly hope you get whatever promotionnor raise you want in the future because youre seriously amazing.

Visited Sephora for the first time ever recently and was very happy. I will now choose sephora over ulta every time. I got actual help from someone right away and she knew exactly what to recommend and was knowledgeable on the products! Every time Ive had questions at ulta it seems like their employees are kind of clueless on products so I was VERY pleasantly surprised that this was not the case at sephora!
