Took my car in and they said it needed a new catalytic converter that was the most expensive part in the car. We were quoted $2200. 6 days go by and now all of a sudden the guy says it needs a new timing chain and it will now be $5500 in total for all of this. I wonder what is costing the additional $3300 because I thought the catalytic converter was the most expensive part as they themselves said earlier? I decided to take my car somewhere else before they messed with the timing chain. I talked to multiple other mechanics and they were shocked at how much they were trying to charge us for the timing chain. Also, when I got the car it was smeared with oil and dirt and the gas was near empty. He said it was drivable but, no, it is not drivable because of how it brakes and accelerates. I appreciated the deal the guy gave to me at the end ($1200) but this was a lot of hassle and overpricing and the car still isnt even fixed.

Stopped here at 2pm to get a rear passenger tire swapped out that came in late after my others were put on. Took me right away and had me out the door with my new tire on the rim and on the car. Price was exceptionally fair and guys were courteous. Even stayed and talked some old neighborhood history for a few.99 Crown Vic Lx(Red)

Took my wifes Jeep in for a state inspection. They recommended an oil change which I agreed to. Whilst doing that they broke the hood cable and charged me $500 to fit a new one. When we finally got the car bake it was leaking oil all over our driveway. My wife took it back and they wouldnt acknowledge it was leaking, and the guy was extremely rude. Take a look for yourself. I will now he to t it somewhere else and have their work fixed. I have no idea how this place has so many good ratings, I suspect many are fake. Beware.

This place is amazing! Called at 8:30 a.m. and had an estimate (over the phone) and my daughters car in the shop by 10 a.m. The quoted price was MUCH lower than the two other estimates I received that morning from other mechanics within a five mile radius. Not only did they meet the quote, they gave us free lug nuts and installation of lug nuts ($100 value). They spent a lot more time on the car than they planned, but instead of using this as a reason to over-charge, they did NOT charge us for the unforseen lug nut problem. Also, we didnt think we needed back brakes, but we did. The mechanic took me, without me asking, and showed me the rotors and the damage on them. Really, just the nicest people. Great prices. Great service. Thank you, Joe Ds. Well be back. Five stars.

I just walked in to see if they did inspection and they do, it was the cheapest around and it took 10 minutes. Not only did they inspect it but he offered to do an oil change or anything else I needed. He was really great. I will always be going there now. I am very pleased.

Unfortunately I didnt have any work done. However, the gentleman was very friendly and told me exactly what the issue was with my car. I had a hole in the exhaust and he let me know I did not need a new exhaust system, but rather a weld to close the hole. Sadly, he does not have a welder.

There was a bad snowstorm this morning. My windshield wiper broke off on my way to work near the airport. I called them (having not being from this area) asked if they had wipers on hand to sell, and they offered to install them right there for me no charge. On my lunch break I went there, they were waiting for me. Put on the wipers, cashed me out, and was back in a few minutes. 10/10 from my first hand experience needing something quick and easy.

I called to see when I could bring my car in for an inspection the next day I was all set very friendly staff very respectful and I think very good prices also honest and thats all you can ask for at a repair shop

Just went here for my inspection and its really the most honest shop Ive been to. he noticed some things that need to be replaced (not inspection related and got me in the right direction for the absolute lowest out of pocket cost. highly recommend.

Went there to get a flat tire plugged. The whole process (tire plugged, spare taken off, tire put on and filled up, spare put back in the trunk) took less than 10 minutes from the time I pulled up. Paid practically nothing.Ill definitely be recommending Joe D to everyone I know around here!

Great guys to work with. We left our car there to get snowtires and some work done while we were on holidays. They drove us to airport and made arrangements for us to get our keys even on a Sunday when they were closed. Highly recommend these guys.

Went to have an inspection done this morning at 9:00 since it is 1st come 1st serve since they do not make appointments (i was told this a month ago on the phone). first I was there at 8 and sign on side window said open..according to the website they open at 8:00. A worker shows up at 9:06 and doesnt have the key, he tells me the owner will be here in 10 minutes, I left 22 minutes later since no owner showed up. i have to get morning appointments since no way will I show up after work and wait to possibly have my car looked at since they will be busy. Also will need an oil change and probably a fuel filter but sadly cant go to a place that isnt open on time. They need to make appointments for customers. Second- FIX your phone, I called it and it rang then sounded like it was connecting to a computer. I liked the owner since months ago he didnt charge me for a light problem I was having and I said he will always get my business, guess not anymore :o( 1 1/2 hrs after supposedly being open it is still CLOSED

On my way from RI to Cananda my car started making awful noises. I was lucky enough to spot Joe Ds tire and auto. As soon as I pulled up, someone was willing to help me. They could see that we were traveling and in desperate need. Although they had other cars to work on they took me right away. After a few attempts they were able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. They were even able to tell me what to do when I got home. I couldnt have asked for better service!

I came to this shop for an inspection sticker and to get my back brakes done. After leaving the shop and a week later my back tires was rattling because they forgot to put the brakes hardware back on and every time I hit a bump or pressed the brake it made a noise. Went to monroe to get it fixed
