I bought a GR300 frameset from these folks online. It arrived yesterday. The workmanship is impeccable. And at a price well below the boutique brands. Couldnt be happier.

For starters, I received an exceptional product that was very well assembled upon (eventual) receipt. I can understand a delay in shipping an order, even a two month delay. However, all along the way, Lynskey tended to over commit to (3) new deadlines and expectations for delivery. This doesnt alleviate frustrations. In the end, the order was correct and was expertly packed and delivered. All I can recommend is that Lynskey offer some level of acknowledgement when they fail to meet their own commitments. Love my bike; would probably not order from Lynskey again.

Utterly incompetent or fraud?A while back I placed an order for a fork and a through axle kit to go with my UK-bought Lynskey frame. In the notes I asked whether the fork was compatible with my frame - I got a prompt reply it was not and they changed the order to a matching fork. Somewhat surpised that they didnt wait for my confirmation I promptly replied that I wanted to cancel the order (that fork model was available locally), but my email I was completely ignored and several days later the fork was still shipped out. I did not accept the parcel and had it returned but they ignored all emails about a refund, I wrote to the person who wrote me and their general address, but everything was ignored. Literally the worst online shopping experience I ever had - even the worst Chinese Aliexpress dealers dont even come close.I dont know whether its just a terribly run company or its intentional fraud but whatever it was I can only warn against buying from these people!Added to that their products are just not particularly good 4 pounds/ nearly 2kg for a titanium frame is very much on the heavy side, my cheap Cube Cross Race overstock aluminum frame is lighter...

Easy experience and great communication. Had no issues receiving my frame and its a beauty. Im thinking the bad reviews are sour grapes. Sometimes mistakes happen but they are pretty on top of it. The workmanship is top notch. Ill post an updated pic once I am done with build but these things are super solid and drop dead sexy.

Bought a frame in 23Nov2018, delayed twice and then recieved a wrong frame on 1Feb2019. Have to sent the frame back and didnt refund the shipping cost. Why not 1 star because i feel lucky I still can receive a frame after I paid.

This is a review for a recently purchased R270 in size M/L, milled finish. In 2004, I drove to Litespeed to pick up a Tuscany frameset, which was built by Lynskey. I was coming off of a Landshark custom steel frame that was very stiff, and off of Cannondale frames of that period, also stiff. The Tuscany, by comparison, felt like a noodle. It was comfortable for the long haul, but so was a bus. It did not have the so-called titanium-ride characteristics described by ti-propagandists. The bottom bracket on the Tuscany felt about as stiff as a dead squid, and I am no racer nor heavyweight. I persevered for two years with the Tuscany, and then had to let it go for something more lively, by my perception.A friend turned me on to a Klein. One ride and I was hooked. Since then, I have owned and ridden hard several Klein road framesets. My experience suggests that the Klein Quantum Race and Pro, the all aluminium frames, are the best he built. Some riders mourn Treks purchase of Klein, but I like the post-Trek Klein frames with the carbon stays, too. I still commute on a Klein that has long-reach brakes, fenders, and a stupid little shock absorber integrated into the carbon seat stays that does nothing. That is the lightest bike I ride, at about 16 pounds. Not bad for a commuter. The all aluminium Klein framesets are stiff and somewhat heavy by todays standards, or maybe by carbon standards. I started looking around about a year ago for a lighter road bike. I like carbon in my fly rods. But, while carbon framesets are light, they seem silly to me. I pass fat people riding carbon bikes on my commute and I wonder why they plunked for the Tour de France Replica Pinnarello ($10k) instead of just cutting back on dairy. Plus, carbon seems kind of temporary, like a disposable diaper, which happens to be very useful when a change is necessary, but still somewhat waste-full.After some research I settled on a titanium Moots because the welds and reputation are supernatural. But the Moots frameset I wanted was close to $4k. Thats more than a used Corolla for my daughter at university, so I shifted to Lynskey. I called and spoke with Adam in sales. He assured me that the new framesets were much better than the Tuscany I complained about, above. So, I searched for reviews and found a few, trusted Adam, and ordered the R270, with an Envy fork. To make a more direct comparison, I shifted all the parts from my Klein Quantum Race to the R270.I realize that humans often engage in all sorts of self-convincing mental exercises after they spend a grand on a new whatever. I suspect that I have done the same. But all I can tell you is that, by my perception, Adam was correct. The R270 is no 2004 Tuscany. It is stiff in the right places, responsive, and feels like it wants to go forward before I do. Compared to my Klein, which is a great bike, the R270 feels livelier and lighter, somehow. At speed, it does not lose its composure. Yes, it weighs in at about 18 lbs, but I have 15 more of my own to lose before bike weight makes any real sense. So, should I recommend that you buy a Lynskey? I really like mine, my experience with Adam was great, the frameset was very well packed, very well welded, seems precisely aligned, and was 1/3 the price of other ti-bikes I liked. Do I walk into my garage to gaze at my new bike, like I do with my Kleins? No. The Lynskey looks industrial, like a Rothko painting displayed in a Goth bar. But it rides really well, which to me makes all the difference. I wonder if fat people buy carbon for the looks? Seems ironic.
