Do not buy from here. I was in a car accident and they refused to hold my item on layaway and kept 70 dollars of my money as a restocking fee. This is a awfull company considering my situation. The item I had on layaway was for my children. No care or concern for their customers. Do not buy from here take your money some where else!!!!!

They wouldnt give me a model number off of an air compressor over the phone, was told that I would have to come see it. Looking for a higher SCFM compressor. Im not driving an hour and wasting my time on that. Childish behavior at best.

Sometimes you can catch a great deal on items and others not so much. The turnover is so high its hard to keep trained employees who know how to accurately price stuff when they take it in so that they can sell it for the right price on the other side. Ive seen the employees take a lot of abuse at the counter from customers, so it cant be an easy job.

I did business with this store and the one in athens for years. But yesterday i was told if i didnt have a mask and was unable to wear one then i needed a signed note from my dr before i could enter the store. Theyve lost another customer because of the rudeness of their employee

Very personable. I always have a great time when I come into the store. They have fair prices. And always treat me with respect.

Idk if this store is under new management or what but whats up the inflated prices? People are pawning and getting loans because they are obviously in need then this store turns around a sales the items for double sometimes triple what they offer.. I unfortunately was not able to make it on time to get an item out by the due date so I went back once it was put on the shelf. Them item was double the amount but reluctantly I purchased it and after all that they lost parts of my merchandise they didnt offer a discount or anything although I had proof of what it initially came with. I will never shop here again nor refer anyone

Went to sell an item got lowballed. Went to the pawn shop literally right down the street and got what amount I wanted for the item.

I had a horrible experience with U.S. Money Shops, located on Brainerd Rd. Chattanooga, TN. About two months ago, my boyfriend spent over $700 in their store. He bought a laptop, a PS3, and a diamond ring. The laptop didnt work and we brought it back, that was settled. The PS3 was over priced @ $219, but we didnt realize this until after we got it. (That would be our fault). The ring, however, now thats another issue all together. The ring was priced @ $399, but the manager gave it to us for $250. WOW! What a great deal, right? It turns out the ring was FAKE!! Yes, FAKE!! And you ask yourselves, Now how does a respectful pawn shop and a respectful pawn broker, knowingly take someones hard earned money and sell these people a FAKE diamond ring? Easy. The lady that appraised the ring for me today, at a real jewelry store, showed me how this can be done. She used the same kind of diamond detector that U.S. Money Shops used and when she directly touched it to the diamonds, it did not make a sound. But, when she touched it on the gold, (very close to the so-called diamond) it would beep. Its a scam, BEWARE!! We went back in the store and wanted our money back or at least in-store credit and he would not do that for us. I asked him to at least take the ring back in pawn for $150. I thought we could at least get some of our money back. No, instead, he wanted to call the police on me. My boyfriend told him, thats probably what shes doing now; calling the police on you, because she is right, that is theft by deception. He admitted that the ring wasnt real diamonds and would only offer us $50 to pawn it to him. He claims that he told us when we bought it that the ring was a cubic zirconium. He is a LIAR and a THIEF! He said he is a Christian man, you decide.

Just bought a xbox saturday , it will not read any discs . Even a brand new DVD and game . Of course your receipt says no refunds , I see why now 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Me and my friends went there and I guess the lady didnt know how to do her job. But she had a horrible attitude. We handed her the case for a game she opened it showed us the empty case threw it on the table and said wheres the disk? Why would we steal the disc if we went up there to pay for it? Then the manager noticed the commotion and asked what was wrong and then said yeah games are in a book thats so people dont steal. She said oh ...didnt apologize or anything. Rude customer service, never coming back. Will advise others to go somewhere else!

This is mostly a gun store because the pawned items are overpriced. For example as of today they had a 1st Gen PS4 for 299.99 which the PS4 slim sells for the same amount brand new. The electronics are priced just a notch under their retail value. The service is OK and they do seem helpful.(Update 08 2019) the prices have come down quite a bit with PS4 now selling for 160 versus $200-$299 brand new. I still think this is mostly a gun store and I dont know enough about guns to tell if the prices are fair. Bumping the review up from 2 to 3 stars.

A favorite Pawn shop in Chattanooga metro area, bargains are to be had, but know your prices and know the item well before you buy.As at all pawn shops, they are in business to make money. But CASH is always king.Dont expect to get retail if your pawning or selling , 25% value of used value is generally what most give, and always depends on the supply and demand.. if you dont need super quick cash why would you sell or pawn at any pawn shop in the first place.

My husband and I went here to sale an item. While my husband was negotiating a price another customer walked in, we were totally ignored and Neil to be exact walked away from us and we were looked at like we werent suppose to be there. After everything was said and done they only offered my husband $35 on an item that was $200 dollars. They can never have service from us again!

Spectacular customer service. Management is involved on the floor and makes sure every customer is treated equally.

Terrible service, I dont know her name but the woman accused us of stealing, and then told me the thing I was buying was marked 5 dollars, was actually 10. Will never be shopping there again, and will be advising others to do the same.

Went to take in a custom built guitar that looked in good condition they refused to take it but when i looked at the guitars they were selling they were in poor condition with screws missing. they low ball you offers and have no idea of what they are talking about when it comes to technical things.

If you are buying used items, you might find a decent price on something; however, if you are selling, they will lowball. They use ebay to find a price (probably use numbers that are in the bidding process) to offer a price. I was offered 85% less than what my item was worth, Im taking my business to Craigslist

Pawned and when I got it back it didnt work anymore and it was factory reset after they said I had 30 days I went back within 7. Fudge these guys. They use your stuff if you pawn

Took 47 flat screen paid 1200.00 then got it back paid 300 and less than a mile down the road unwraped it because one side was wrap way more gor it unwraped and that side was smashed in. They avoided me and never did anything will not go back.

No problems or complaints, just as it should be. Got what I asked for, and checked out some shotguns Ive been eyeing.
