Great concept, horrible management makes this place hell. Common sense does not seem to exist in the premises. Their rules that were originally set up for COVID restrictions and made no sense then, are still in place, and are more confusing, and frustrating for all customers rather than helpful and useful. On top of it being poorly run, the managers are cherry picking items out of the bins and sorting through every crate, which not only slows the process down entirely but takes from the loyal customers.

Easily the worst goodwill Ive ever been to confused why it exists at all.I went when there was very few customers the handful of staff I talked to were pretty polite which given how well... Awful the customers are was very surprised.Everything and I mean that laterally EVERYTHING was just complete trash very dirty clothes and the customers were scrambling to buy these sometimes visibly dirty clothes and even hats like theyve never seen clothes in their lives. The Chaska regular goodwill is very close by a million times better.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews about this place, my friends and i had a great time. it was our first time there, and we were greeted by a very nice lady who asked us if we had ever been there before. upon telling her we hadn’t, she then explained all of the rules to us. we had a few questions, and she answered them. our cashier Braelyn, was very nice.

Use to be good before new manager frank started , he takes all the good stuff out in back n sells it .slow rotations when he is working . Mostly blankets n pillows only come out when he’s working . Try Brooklyn park their they don’t go through n take out the worth while stuff , and they are million times faster , and don’t make you follow rediculous arrows that do nothing but cause drama

The process of navigating one of these stores is extremely confusing and the staff was testy and condescending. When we went here the place was jam packed and the line was almost out the door. You can only go one by one to look in a bin and everyone was way too close to each other so we decided to leave to be on the safe side. Yes the prices are good but the experience is not.

Due to social distancing restrictions, there are only half the bins on the floor and only one person allowed per bin. I understand that it needs to be this way (for now). However, its true that when a fresh bin comes out, one person is allowed unlimited time to sort through the bin. Of course, anything with a tag or a new box gets snapped up so what remains is mostly junk.Im thinking that once there is a new batch of bins on the floor, there should be a 4 minute time limit to go through that bin, then EVERYONE has to move on. Give more people a shot at a fresh bin...share the wealth. The intent of Goodwill has been lost to greed. The managers, in my opinion, are mostly surly. If you cant be friendly to customers, you are in the wrong job! I have seen a manager cherry pick items from a bin for himself as it comes out to the floor. It is NOT an equal playing field for all shoppers. I know things have to change, but this wholesale has taken a turn for the worse. There ARE ways to make it good again!

I love this place as you can find great things, but the management is terrible, when there is a waiting line to get in the people who have a cart will just sit at a bin for as long as possible, I wish the managers were better about going up to those people and telling them to keep moving and that they can’t just stand there waiting for who knows what when other shoppers are waiting to get it. If they were quicker about rotating bins and managers were getting after the people who just stand there I think people who be more apt to check out and get back in line if they knew they could get in quicker, no one likes to check out because they know it takes 30+min to get back in.

Went there 10 am Saturday morning. We were greeted with a set of rules. It was difficult to hear. You were only able to go one way. You could only go through a bin if it was not occupied by another customer. It felt as if you were being policed by the staff. They were quick to respond to any mistakes you made. Then I went to an unoccupied bin near the register. I was then told I needed to CHECK OUT NOW! Someone was waiting for a cart. I told them I was not finished. But they were adamant that I check out now. That they announced that they were in need of carts. So because I was close to a register. I was done. Unfortunately they were not friendly staff. You couldnt hear want anyone said. Did not hear any announcements. It appears they make up the rules as they go. I will never go in that store again! If I could have given it 0 star. I would. Lastly, my friend wanted to drop off donations. We waited for 10 minutes. I then called the store and told them someone needed to help us unload donations. Please open up the door. Not impressed at all. Very poor customer service. Very poor communication.

Was approached by a rude gentleman. I was following the rules and was the only person at a bin. He approached me and asked if I had a cart. I told him no but i was here with a friend and she had a cart. He told me I either needed to get my own cart or stay with my friends cart. I am a 26 year old woman and I felt like I was being policed and watched my entire time there. Management needs to set higher standards on customer service.

Older lady with the short blond hair who works at the front is super rude. She picks and chooses who she wants to attack. There’s one way to get back to the first row while following the direction of traffic floor stickers and she stops who she feels like and prevents them from going there, saying “your going the wrong way, unless your checking out you can’t walk over here” she needs to be fired. I’m tired of coming here and dealing with her attitude. I’m a reseller and spend a lot of money here, I don’t appreciate dealing with people like her. Don’t recommend coming to this place at all. Lost my business.

When I first walked I had to go to the ladies room. When I got out I started looking in the book bin and I guess thats not allowed. A guy came over to tell me I needed a cart; okay no biggie. I went to grab a cart.I then got lectured at by another guy about how I needed to have a cart and wasnt I there with someone else earlier? No I wasnt, I informed him. He then said he didnt know how I got in there without them seeing me.Sounds like a you problem. A-hole. I wanted to say.So after that I was in such a great mood to buy!Just a thought, if the carts are so important have someone at the door with them to give to customers.I felt very unwelcomed there. Will not shop there again. You obviously dont need my money.

Good finds. The only thing is that I didnt know that I wasnt allowed to go down the lane next to me when I reached the end. I was still going the right way with the arrows but I guess that wasnt allowed. I thought that was allowed since Im still going the right way. They stopped me and said I have to start from the beginning again and get to that aisle. I understand if thats how you guys work my mistake I did not know, but the thing is I kept saying sorry and he kept on going about that rule. I mean how many times do you have to repeat yourself after I kept on saying sorry. I felt unwelcomed from the moment I entered.

Fun place to dig for treasures! Youll find some great stuff if you hang around long enough. You have to literally dig through large bins... nothing is organized whatsoever, but that is what makes it fun. Best to get in on the bins the moment they bring them out. You can get tons of stuff for extremely cheap!

Came in expecting a good few hours and not even 2 minutes into my visit a worker goes right in front of me, unlocks the bin and takes it away. Okay, I let it go and the next bin I go to the same thing happens. I understand if you need to rotate or what not but an explanation or something when you have someone who decided to come there to spend their hard earned money and receive that poor of customer service is just wow. Literally start moving the bin while two people are going through it... Should be a zero star....

Has to be the cleanest goodwill Ive ever been to. The staff is extra helpful and curious. There is no telling what you may find. Ive found lots of very nice things and I get most of my work cloths from here. At .99 a pound, good place to get old cloths for rags. But most of all make sure you have plenty of time. You got to be patient and do lots of searching to find the treasures. Happy hunting!

I called in advance to verify that they’re accepting donations at the time and the lady says absolutely. I get there and I’m told they don’t have room (I had 5 boxes) and that I need to go to the wholesale location but no one seems to have an address. That’s okay I’ll Google it. I get there and sit for ten minutes and no one opens the garage door so I park and go inside to ask. I approach a gentlemen wearing a vest who clearly wants nothing to do with me but I ask him very politely if someone can assist me at the donation area. He mumbles that he’ll be over there in a bit. Okaaaay. He eventually opens the garage door, watches me pull in and then disappears leaving me to unload everything by myself with no instruction on what should go where even. I could understand the if Goodwill operated with volunteers but these are paid employees for business that makes a lot of money and I was attempting to donate some very nice items. Extremly frustrating and I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

Found some neat stuff and the pricing system they use is fantastic. Some of it goes by weight or a stack of books goes by how tall the stack is in inches and you pay by the inch. The bins are extremely large and overfull so looking for clothing is pretty much a nightmare. Mens, womens, and kids of all sizes are dumped in together and on top of that, there are sometimes large, heavy things like area rugs or huge pieces of fabric all unfolded and tangled up with clothing. The shoe bins are also a disaster. If you find a shoe you like, you really have to hunt to find its mate. Books, vhs tapes, dvds, & cds are dumped together in bins. Household items, toys, dishes, electronics, and other misc items are dumped together.
