Stopped by for lunch and some to go sweets. The super friendly young lady working recommended the chicken salad sandwich, and it was delicious- they make it with cashews and apricots. The chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll were incredible. If youre in town, definitely stop by!

Cute bakery with well baked goods. They make Real danish pastries the right way. If you cant afford a trip to Denmark for your pastry needs, go here! Additionally there is a cute little cheese shop attached. All in all a cute bakery with nice atmosphere and great baked goods. Definitely will go again if in town.

I have only been here twice. They have the BEST savory Danish Ive ever tasted. Their baked goods are worth every dime. I took a file bread making classes and know how much work goes into making a flaky croissant. Ill pay for a croissant before I bake one. This is the place to go!

The almond croissant is the best in town. The chocolate hazelnut brioche is a solid choice too.

Ordered a couple of sandwiches on delicious home made bread, so good!! The young man who made the sandwiches was extremely nice and polite. Also got some bakery items and was not disappointed. Prices seem reasonable I got my order to go, but really comfortable dinning area, definitely going back

With their relaxing atmosphere and delicious food, Red Bench Bakery is a perfect lunch spot! Portion sizes are generous, and everything is fresh.Their chicken salad is so good! Excellent!! The quiche was the best I ever had, creamy and beautifully presented. My husband got the ham and cheese croissant and loved it! The swedish had just the right amount of cardamom and the texture was lovely. When Im not so full Ill try the cream brioche and expect it will be perfection!

I am a regular visitor of Red Bench and its amazing. The almond croissants and the cinnamon rolls are my go to - SO GOOD. Their selection is not huge, but it doesnt need to be because what is there is so amazing. The staff is so friendly and always are so kind to my kids that can never decide what to get.I recently bought a box of goodies to a friend that was visiting in town and she said her family has now demanded that they visit Red Bench every time they visit Minnesota.The only problem I have with Red Bench is that I have to at least get their Almond Croissants and Cinnamon rolls at every visit because I can never decide.Do yourself a favor and visit Red Bench. Great food. Small business. Lovely staff. Need I say more?

Exceptionally clean! Excellent bakery selection. We like their almond croissants. Be sure to register as a frequent customer if you will be visiting at least once a month and you order multiple items. The points accumulate quickly and you would be rewarded with $5 or $10 off your order eventually. You may have to remind your server that you are a frequent customer by entering your phone number.

Loved the special pizza night. Our two pizzas were fabulous. The Pit Boss with pulled pork was topped off well with the cabbage. The artichoke heart pizza was loved.

This was such a quaint breakfast spot with so much personality even during these covid restricted access days. You have the option to place a custom order 12hrs in advance if you want to guarantee you get your favorite baked goods for breakfast or you can just stop in and try your luck at the variety of delicious items on display. The coffee is wonderful too!

Today is the 3rd day of business and as I write this I am enjoying the most scrumptious mixed berry muffin and almond milk latte. They have an abundant variety of cookies, muffins and other baked goods too that Ill be back to try. The prices are fair which may makes this my new go-to place for coffee and a quick homemade snack in town.

Had a great lunch here with the family. The menu isnt extensive, but it doesnt have to be. There were 4-5 sandwiches to choose from, plus a couple of soups and salads, and of course a selection of bakery treats. I had a turkey and provolone sandwich with avocado mayo on a sourdough rye bread, and it was quite tasty. The bread was particularly good: sourdough can sometimes have a rock hard crust and be too soft and airy on the inside; this bread had a crust you didnt break your teeth on, yet the inside had some decent texture to it. And the rye element wasnt too intense, which is good for people like me who dont particularly care for rye bread. The staff were extremely pleasant and parking was easy in the adjacent lot.

Its a gem. I would say it is an elevated version of a small town bakery. Artisan breads,pastry, cookies.and a lovely meat and cheese shop.

It was a great experience. First time visiting. Enjoyed the bakery and the coffee was fantastic. You should go!

Do yourself a favor and get there early to get some of the Cinnamon rolls, they are a favorite of all our out of town guests. My family loves them as well. This is a great addition to downtown Chaska and Andy and crew are committed to our community.

The almond croissants are amazing. Ive had several different types of breads that were all delightful. My kids like the Swedish rolls, but thats all. So, not the greatest kids selection, but I keep visiting because everything is so much better than the chain donut shop the next block down.

We moved here a couple of months ago and I have been dying to try this place. Did not disappoint. We tried the cinnamon roll danish, almond croissant, and ham and cheese croissant. The cinnamon roll danish was hands down, the winner here (although my husband raved about the almond croissant). On par with any of the fancy French bakeries youll find in Minneapolis and worth a visit if you are in the area. (They also have a fireplace and some decent table space that I cant wait to use if I ever need to get out of the house this summer to shake up my WFH routine.) And finally, get there early if you want your pick of pastries. Got there at 10 on a Sunday and they were already sold out of bread, and assuming, pain au chocolat. ;)

Very friendly service and a wonderful selection of baked goods. I had a sandwich here a couple of weeks ago and am back for breakfast and coffee. They also have gelato! Highly recommended in downtown Chaska. Its nice to see a great place in the older, charming stores.

I cant say enough good things about this place. We are so lucky to have this gem in our community! European style pastries and breads that are TO DIE FOR! Swing in for the quiche or ham & cheese croissant for breakfast or one of the many delicious sandwiches for lunch. They also have pop-up pizza nights. The absolute best spot for bakery goods! The cinnamon rolls and peanut butter cookies are my favorite! I also highly recommend the quiches! The staff are always incredibly friendly and informative! I can’t say enough good things about this place!

What a GREAT place to have in Chaska! I will go there just to get the killer kouign-amann, but the croissants (plain and chocolate), danishes and cookies are among the best you can get anywhere in the Twin Cities. Their breads are perfectly made and really tasty (Im partial to the olive loaf), and they have pizza nights every once in a while too...

Great atmosphere, fantastic friendly staff, and the food was delish. We had the chicken salad croissant with side salad. Well dressed salad with light vinegarette and light flaky croissant and plenty of chicken salad and cashews. I will be back for their pizza .

OMG!!! We have loved their pastries and bread since the day they opened but tonight we finally had the opportunity to order their pizzas and they are truly magnificent!!!! We had the mushroom, onion and goat cheese with honey as well as a pepperoni pizza and I’m at a loss as to describe the absolute deliciousness! This is the real deal!!!

Nice place, got a almond croissant to go with the Turkey sandwich. Good flavor and nice portion size for a lunch. Like many places too much hard surface so when a group of 4 or 5 came in talking they drowned out everyone else. To their credit they did shift too indoor voices. Parking was easy. Will be adding this place as new lunch spot.

I can’t say enough about what an incredible place this is to get your morning coffee, a delicious pastry (best cookies I’ve ever had) or even a tasty sandwich for lunch. The inside has a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace on cold winter mornings and a patio to enjoy the sun in the summer. What makes it even better is wonderful owners and staff who always have great recommendations and a friendly smile!

Its a newly remodeled bakery with very good looking breads a d goodies. I am gluten free and they had one item for me. Coffee was reasonably priced with all the usual specialty coffees.

This is a cute little Bakery with a built-in Cafe and outdoor seating. Their baked goods look delightful and taste just as good. The ham and cheese croissant is one of the best, and their sandwiches dont fall far behind. The staff is warm and welcoming, and will gladly reserve items if you call ahead. A lovely shop with far more atmosphere and small town coziness than any chain coffee place can offer.

WOW! What a special place! The ambience was so inviting...the fireplace was crackling to us, sit down and stay awhile...and that is just what my guest and I did. The chicken salad croissant and tomato basil soup and spring greens salad and fresh-squeezed lemonade were exceptional. And the raisin danish taken home was absolutely delicious...oh so light and flaky! The owners/servers took time to converse with us and introduce us to their specialties/delicacies. Hard to find such excellence these days in flavor and friendliness. Thank you...we will be back!

This place is top notch. Great cold brew. Kouign-amann was super buttery and airy with a caramel glaze that had just a hint of salt. Salad was super seasonally flavored with pumpkin vinaigrette and cinnamon croutons. Will go back

Great breads and sandwiches

Been wanting to stop in this place forever and finally took my mom for a coffee date last Friday. Totally bummed by the customer service we received. Not one warm interaction was had with either of the associates behind the counter. Having worked in a coffee shop myself, a simple good morning, how are you and thanks for stopping by goes a long way with your customers! It doesnt hurt to give a small smile, either.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing, they did a great job restoring the old bakery. I was a little disappointed that they only had a few bakery items and no donuts at all. I had the scone which I would not get again. It was over baked and very hard. The almond croissant was very delicious and is worth a try. The hot chocolate is reasonably priced and extremely good. Service was friendly and helpful. The staff forgot to make our drinks and we didnt get them till we were about to go out the door ( free bakery item was offered for the delay). Overall they are alright but need to work out some kinks and bring in some donuts!

Visited for my first time and the building has plenty of indoor seating. There is also outdoor seating. The croissants were very good! Workers are very friendly.

Experienced sub-par food and terrible service multiple times. The front staff are always friendly and accommodating, but it has been the owners who have repeatedly been less than enjoyable. Every time I have been here there has been an issue. Wether it be with their coffee, pastries, or dining experience. Every time the owner Andy has been blatantly rude and unwilling to be accommodating. We will not be returning and will warn others not to waste their time or money here. It is better spent somewhere else.

Small business bakery thats definitely on the fancy side but very good. I sampled every breakfast pastry and was happy to find something that wasnt too sweet but had a ton of excellent flavor. Coffee was fine but I dont think Id come running back for it over another coffee shop. Overall a very nice spot that I hope stays in Chaska for a while.

Amazing pastries that would fit right in on a Parisian rue. The coffee is good and the baristas know what theyre doing. Theres a warm fireplace with comfy chairs. Send like everything a good cafe needs!

We came for lunch, so delicious! Our sandwiches were fresh with a hint of orange flavor which was amazing. The chocolate chip cookie was heavenly and we are excited to have our pastries we took to go for breakfast tomorrow morning - they look and smell phenomenal :) Service was pleasant and the atmosphere was beautiful, full of joyful people...yet still relaxing. I picked up lunch here today, from a friends suggestion. A very tasty ham sandwich with a side salad. Surprising amount of flavor, friendly people working. I had to try one of their chocolate croissants, it had that great european flaky crunch on the outside.Definitely worth trying for yourself.

This place is brand new but their baked goods are on point! I had a stuffed croissant and a stuffed brioche - amazing. The place seems a little empty and austere in the decor department, but that may just be because theyre new. Prices are higher thhan a grocery store bakery of course, but the product is also way better! This place is open for breakfast and lunch.

Immediate friendly service, classic warm decor and a wonderful appealing spread of pastries that will make you want to order and try everything. The friendly service did stand out from the rest of the good qualities of this place.

New bakery to Chaska, it was my first visit here. Yes, they are more expensive than other places in town, but, you get what you pay for. I ordered a cinnamon roll and raspberry brioche. The cinnamon roll was a nice balance, not over glazed like so many many places but allowed the cinnamon to be the main player in the dish. Which is what you want in a Cinnamon roll. The brioche was just so great, light, fluffy and a nice balance of pastry and fruity filling. I will be back for sure to try some of their breads. The rye sourdough looks like it would be good.

Good selection of affordable and good wines. Dan and his staff give excellent recommendations. Add top shelf liquors and a historic location and you have a winner.

Really good baked goods and bread. Most of the people behind the counter are friendly. I wish there was more seating, or if theres only one person they dont get to take up a table for four and just sit there in their lap tops when its crowded. A few of us walked in and walked right back out, several four seater tables taken up by one person on their lap tops. No place else to sit. Best cinnamon roll Ive ever had.

Went for breakfast today. Husband and I both had ham & cheese croissants and they were very tasty. 15 minutes after eating, we both had stomach cramps followed by many trips to the bathroom so far. Also ordered 2 blended ice coffees but the ice was not blended. Split an almond croissant but there was zero almond flavor and an overpowering lemon flavor. I would definitely call it a lemon croissant.

Cute little cozy spot that has great muffins. Their other stuff has to good too. It can get kind of loud in there when theres more than a few people. When youre trying to visit the D Bros in town and theyre closed because of being understaffed, Red Bench has all your needs.

Since opening, the Red Bench Bakery has brought incredible breads and baked treats to our community, served by local artisans. We are fortunate to have the Red Bench - our family favorites are the Almond Croissants (girls love the Chocolate Almond Croissants), baguettes, and Whole Wheat bread. A fantastic add to historic Chaska. You wont regret a visit to the Red Bench!
