Best pizza in town! Tell them how you want it! Excellent staff. Good but small selection. Maybe 2 or 3 oils. Stuffed grape.leaves good. Cannolis excellent. Fresh pasta, ravioli, etc made on site is great.I 1st expected big italian joint but not. Look forward to frozen and other in house treats youll enjoy. Wines? They fall down. Forget that. Try and see.As a pizza expert Ill defend.my opening statement to the end.

I really enjoyed the market and sandwich shop. The person that served me was not the friendliest, but the rest of the staff was pleasant.My sandwich was fresh and affordable. There are just a couple tables, so be prepared to take your food to go.

Freakin Awesome! Like Italian and you dont want to cook but you want to impress your date or family with a home cooked meal. Get their frozen entrees togo and be impressed!

Their frozen meals come with incorrect directions. We have followed their directions precisely numerous times and always end up waiting more than two hours for a meal to cook at 400°.Our gas oven has no issues cooking baked goods and other foods within specified times, so I have to pin the blame on Mona Lisas instructions.As I stand beside my oven, which has been cooking their mac and cheese at 400° for over an hour and a half, the internal temperature from our probe thermometer still reads 32°.Dont get me wrong, the food is delicious, but Im always disappointed that the instructions dont lead to the desired cook time.I called once to make sure the directions were correct and the gentleman on the line assured me that theyve dialed in their directions to be correct. Perhaps there are more precise directions needed (e.g. convection vs conventional), but Id still fault them for not including that, were it the case.

Ive been delivering here for a few months and it always smells good when I come in. Today I had some time to grab a bite so I did just that. I asked for a slice of pizza because Ive had a hankering for NY style pizza since Ive moved to Virginia and havent had any luck. I can say that this pizza was awesome!!! Close enough to NY style without the greasiness. The price was also reasonable compared to other pizza joints in town who cant match this place at all. Keep up the good work. Im coming back to try more dishes.

We ordered two days of lunch catering through Jim at Mona Lisa Pasta, and will definitely be using them in the future! 50+ people all loved the food. The first day was a variety of sandwiches and the second was lasagna, so it was easy to use the same place but feel like a different meal. The food was plentiful, and there were good vegetarian and gluten-free options for folks with allergies. Highly recommend

I picked up sandwiches here for a wine tour picnic and it was just perfect. We called in an order and they were ready with it on time and in boxes. We had two sandwiches with special orders, which they accommodated with no hesitation (and were really clear in the labeling as well). The staff was very nice and helpful, even providing us with paper plates and napkins. The food was tasty and everyone commented on how much they loved it. The prices are a steal and the sandwiches are large portions.

Awesome sandwiches! The pastas and sauces are fantastic. The ability to grab frozen ready to cook meals is awesome - much better than the frozen grocery store alternatives.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Charlottesville and is truly a hidden gem. They make their own pastas and sauces fresh and at a very affordable price. A pound of pasta is $5 and their sauces are under 10. My fiance and I have eaten in many times from here and I would say its as good as Italian restaurants in the area. Save your money and pick up a sauce and a pasta for $10-$15 and get a bottle of wine. Your night will be way cheaper and just as good as eating out.

I love this place! Everyone that works here is super friendly and happy to help you out anyway they can. The fresh pasta is amazing and is only 5$/lb if my memory is correct, they even have several varieties available at any given time! I highly recommend checking this place out if you have never been.

I never write reviews but Mona Lisa Pasta is worth the time to say afew words about how awesome their food is. Their custom sandwiches are THE BEST I’ve had in Charlottesville and I have always had an excellent experience here. Not only is their food amazingly tasty but it’s also affordable. I make pasta @ home but when I donthave the time this is the place I would go for anything Italian. Awesome place, awesome atmosphere, excellent customer service!!! I would put it on my top 5 places to get food to go in Charlottesville.

Nice pasta and eats would be the thing to say;however, they do more than that. They have a nice brand going with sauces and more.

I just tried the fresh made paste, which is awesome. They press it and cut it to order. They also seem to have other great products that Im looking forward to try in the future.

Charlottesville is a sandwich town with options galore but the Da Vinci is hands down the best! Always friendly, small but well curated wine selection, good soups, and great pasta sauces to-go are perfect to keep in the freezer.

Consistently the best customer service and best tasting Italian food Ive ever had. Favorite ritual is getting chicken Parmesan, a bag of noodles, and lasagna on Friday nights to take home for dinner. A Charlottesville must try!

Awful experience !!! I called for a delivery , and I placed an order . And since they don’t have the food that I want I decide to call back and cancel the order . The manager ask me not to call back to place an order , but In a really bad way !! Thanks god i didn’t got the food from there.... I recommended do not call or go to that restaurant ! Yet another of Charlottesvilles little gems. Fresh pasta cut to order, TONS of Italian specialities, a nice selection of wines, fresh sandwiches and brick oven pizzas. For my first visit, I was running late and they held the store open an additional 15 mInutes for me AND there in some free bread with my order. Definitely worth a stop, people say the pizza is excellent!

I hate writing reviews but this place was so bad I had to. I assumed this was a italian store that also served food as well. However when I ordered the just gave me a frozen dinner. I said to myself alright Ill go home and heat it up whatever. but my god it was terrible! I could have gotten something hot at an actual restaurant for what I paid.
